Pros: At kunnne være sig selv, der var alt hvad man havde behov for. Beskrivelsen passede og var som forventet. Et besøg værd, hvis det skal være en ferie med en god udsigt og total afslapning. Cons: Manglende et par viskestykker.

Agréable et vue magnifique

Très bon séjour de 2 semaines au calme. La maison est située dans les hauteurs de Guaro et la vue sur les reliefs d'Andalousie est magnifique depuis la terrasse et la piscine. La maison est très bien équipée et les photos correspondent parfaitement à la réalité. La piscine est un peu plus grande que ce qu'elle me paraissait sur les photos et entretenue 2 fois par semaine par Pepe (homme discret mais ouvert à la discussion). Des tables et chaises sont disposées à différents endroits autour de la maison et dans le jardin, offrant la possibilité d'avoir toujours un coin à l'ombre pour profiter de l'extérieur et de la vue. Le package d'accueil est complet et diversifié permettant de ne pas se poser de questions pour un 1er repas. Le propriétaire est très agréable et disponible, avant et pendant le séjour, toujours prêt à conseiller restaurants, commerces et lieux de visites.

Pros: We recently spent a truly delightful week at Casa Rosa. From start to finish the owner Shirley was exceptionally helpful and friendly providing us with extensive information, including directions to the house, everything we needed to know about the local area, phrasebooks (essential as few locals speak English) and a welcome pack of groceries, she genuinely cares that guests enjoy their stay. The house was even nicer than could be portrayed in the photos, very clean and very well equipped with everything you could need to create a perfect home from home. The WiFi connection was excellent and there is the full range of UK Freeview channels if you would like to stay connected to home. The views from the terrace are magnificent and the completely private pool is very well maintained. The village of Guaro and the surrounding area gave us a flavour of the real Spain. Marbella is a 20 minute drive away and we enjoyed the old town and its sophistication but it was always nice to retreat to Casa Rosa. During our stay Guaro had it's annual Feria which we thoroughly enjoyed but be aware that if you visit during one of their festivals you should be prepared to live as the locals and seista all day & party all night! Otherwise the area is extremely peaceful. This was our first trip to Spain and Casa Rosa was everything we had hoped for and more, we can't wait to return!

Pros: Casa Rosa is quite simply gorgeous. The view from the terrace is truly inspirational and the pool is just a delight. It’s also very private, no one overlooks you, although you don’t feel remote. There are some stunning walks nearby and it’s difficult to believe you are only 20mins or so from the busy coast. Shopping in either nearby Coin or in Guaro itself was really easy. The casa was spotless throughout and very well equipped. Everything you needed was right at hand including – unbelievably for us urbanites – almonds and figs straight from the trees; delicious! Wifi worked perfectly too. Shirley, the owner, was brilliantly helpful and offered advice and tips. Casa Rosa is perfect for friends to enjoy a truly chill-out holiday. Highly recommended.

Pros: Casa Rosa is a beautiful house and well maintained with stunning views. The house is well equipped both inside and out with plenty of seating and dining areas. The welcome pack was full of all the essentials. The town of Guaro is a 5 min walk down the hill and a 20 min walk back up! The town itself as a few bars, restaurants and shops, bear in mind the shops close in the afternoon for a siesta, for the smokers the tobacco shop doesn't open at weekends but cigarettes are available at the mini markets. We had an amazing, relaxing, peaceful week with views that you can never get tired of.

Pros: We had a wonderful vacation in Casa Rosa. The views from the house are absolutely stunning. At +35c the full week, the pool was great for cooling down - we were however struggling to keep the temperature in the house down during the night. Guaro is a relatively small town, so we ended up driving quite a bit to nearby Coin, Marbella and Malaga. Shirley was very helpful and responded quickly to our questions.

Pros: Prachtige locatie en huis waar alles is wat je eventueel wilt gebruiken. Goede bedden, matrassen op de zonnebedden, welkomstpakket met brood, suiker, koffie, thee, melk, boter en wijn. Superschoon zwembad en een hele goede beheerder Pepe, die 2 x per week langs komt om de tuin en planten te sproeien en het zwembad schoon houdt. Het Zwitser Leven gevoel in alle opzichten. En het uitzicht vanaf het terras en het zwembad is om van te dromen. Echt een aanrader. Dorp Guaro, echt Spaans en gemoedelijk.

Pros: The property was better and bigger than expected and the internet photos. Yes the track up is very steep but we had no problems and the GPS co-ordinates worked perfectly. Haken was very helpful, the property extremely well provisioned, very private, stunning views. We hope to be back next year for longer, highly recommended. FYI nothing happens in Guaro. Best dining out at Castle de Monda nearby. .

Pros: We had a delightful stay at Casa Rosa, with support all the way from Shirley, always incredibly prompt with responses to even the smallest of queries. Arriving late at night, ascending the astonishingly steep track upon which the house sits was not a little daunting, but the coded safe revealed the door- and gate keys and, once inside, the immaculate state of the house, welcome pack and abundance of fluffy towels more than met our expectations. The next morning, we were able to appreciate fully the magnificent location, with exquisite views and beautifully-apportioned garden furniture. The swimming pool was as advertised as was everything else. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend it warmly to anyone who likes peace, quiet and a taste of 'real' Spain. We visited Malaga's old town and the Picasso museum (about 45 mins), Marbella beaches and old town (ca. 25 mins), the spectacularly-positioned Ronda (ca 1 hour 45 mins on winding country road), Tarifa (similar journey-length along more major roads), Tollox and Coin as well as walking over the hills above Guaro and enjoying being near the local village.

Pros: Casa Rosa is a hidden gem in the Andalusia region. We have really enjoyed our stay and spent our evenings looking at the beautiful views from the terrace. Owners of Casa Rosa took every details, so their guests will be comfortable including Apple TV, Board Games and even they left some purchase for the first hours at the house. The house looks even better then on the pictures. We recommend Casa Rosa for anyone looking for quite holidays.

Pros: We spent 2 weeks at Casa Rosa in Guaro, Andalucia. The owner is very helpful and sent an email with important information before our arrival. The house is located at a steep hill at the small village of Guaro. The pictures are similar to what you can expect; it’s a small house with 1 mezzanine, a spacious living and kitchen area, 2 bedrooms downstairs and a small bathroom. The kitchen is very well equipped (first time we found good knives!). The front terrace is lovely and has amazing views of the valley and surrounding hills. Next to the terrace is a small but good pool, situated in a beautiful garden. There were more than enough places around the house to enjoy the sun. We stayed mostly around the house to relax, enjoy the views and the sun. Guaro is a quiet village but has some good bars and mini markets. The nearest larger town is Coín, however we liked the near village Monda more. We give the house and the owner a big 8,5 and recommend it to anyone who likes a relaxing vacation.

Pros: Great house, clean and with all essentials for cooking and outdoor living. Cosy inside too. Firm beds and nice furnishings. Lovely pool, plus various lounging and dining areas, in and out of shade, over-looking magnificent mountain scenery. You need a good driving nerve, or strong legs to travel the short distance from the town of Guaro to the house. Guaro itself is sleepy, but attractive and with adequate provisions and cafe/bars. We had a great time.
