The basement is a locked storage and utility area and is not part of the guest living space. In rare cases of a power outage, guests may be asked to briefly access the basement to reset the breaker, with instructions provided.

Other Things to Note
• There is a 24/7 ADT security system in the unit. The code must be entered within 3 minutes, or the alarm may sound and may automatically call local authorities.
• The fireplace is decorative only and not for use.
• This home is in an urban neighborhood near the University of Washington. As with many central Seattle areas, you may occasionally see people experiencing homelessness nearby. The neighborhood is active and well-traveled, and guests commonly walk to shops, restaurants, and nearby parks comfortably throughout the day and evening.
• The area is home to many students. Around scheduled trash pickup days, nearby alleys or sidewalks may appear busier or less tidy for short periods.
• This is a historic home. Both front and back entrances require a few steps to enter. The staircase to the upper floor is steeper than modern standards, with a section of slightly lower ceiling height. Taller guests should take care when using the stairs.
• Interior bedroom door hardware is original to the home, reflecting its historic character. Locks function properly but are not modern hotel-style locks.
• Water pressure is typical for an older home and may feel slightly lower than in newer buildings, though showers function normally.

This is a residential area. Please keep noise levels low at all times and observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Parties, events, or gatherings beyond registered guests are not allowed. Exterior cameras and a noise monitoring system are in place. Violations may result in reservation termination and a $300 fee.

This is a non-smoking, non-vaping, and animal-free home due to allergy concerns.

Any smoking or unauthorized animals will require additional remediation and may result in fees ranging from $300–$1,000, depending on the situation.

To help maintain a clean and comfortable indoor environment, we kindly ask guests to remove shoes when entering the home.

Please treat the home with care and leave it in reasonable condition.

Late check-out is not available.

Early check-in may be possible with advance approval and a $200 fee, subject to same-day cleaning schedules.

Please place trash and recycling in the appropriate bins. If you are unsure, you may leave items inside for the cleaning team.

Please double-check for personal belongings before departure. Lost items can be shipped back upon request for a $50 handling fee plus shipping.

We met our daughter and Son in law for few days in Seattle to catch up with friends and take in the sites. This property checked all the boxes for us. Convenient to the light rail to head downtown. Enough space for us all to unwind after our downtown excursions to Pikes Place and the T-Mobile park. It was clean and comfy. 2 full bathrooms and laundry! Trader Joe's/ 7-11 close by for essentials. Great communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend for a stay with family or friends.
