Secluded Off-Grid Cabin with Waterfall & Hiking Trails Near Rome Township, OH

This cabin is named for the black walnut trees, a stunning 30-foot waterfall, and the chance to unplug and find peace. This off-grid cabin, built with love over several years, sleeps 4–5 guests and offers rustic comfort with modern touches. Set on 63 wooded acres with scenic and challenging hiking trails, it’s a place to relax, explore, and truly escape everyday life.

This cabin has been a labor of love. A multi-year project built with the help of our close friends. While we still enjoy it a few times a year, we now want to share it with you. Walk the trails, bring your ATVs, cozy up by the fire inside or out, and relax.
