Are you looking for a special place to spend your vacation? Then “Casa Salea” is the perfect choice for you! This tastefully and modernly furnished 3-room corner house is located on the grounds of the “Parco Borromeo” residence, enchantingly situated between the towns of Castellveccana and Porto Valtravaglia.
The 85 m² of living space is spread over two levels, each with access to the enclosed and secluded garden. This ensures complete privacy during your stay, as no one can see over the hedge. In return, however, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake and the mountains without any obstructions! The two levels are connected both by an indoor staircase and via eight outdoor steps. Now it’s up to you whether you’d rather grill on the terrace, relax in the garden, or enjoy the view from the balcony. If that’s not enough, you can also take a dip in the residence’s “
” pool, which measures approximately 8 m x 16 m (swim caps required; open from around early June to around mid-September, weather permitting), or retreat to the lounge area with a book.
The small village of Porto Valtravaglia, with shops for daily needs, restaurants, and the public beach, is located about 600 m away and can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The surrounding area offers a wide variety of excursion options, with many interesting views and places to discover. For example, the lake—with its shores, surrounding mountains, and small villages—invites you to explore and entices with regional festivals, customs, and specialties. Even a hike up to the striking chalk cliffs of Caldé—affectionately called the “Sugar Loaf” by the locals—is an experience in itself. Once you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with a unique view of the lake and the surrounding landscape! Free Wi-Fi is available for browsing the internet.
You can park your car in the parking lot belonging to the house, located within the gated residential complex. From there, it’s about 50 meters up and down some steps to the house. Pets are not allowed. Floor plan:
