We employ security and safety measures for our guests and neighbors.
• 3 active cameras located at the front door (1) bottom balcony (2) and top balcony (3) • Cameras are only activated by motion and will record video and audio for a short duration of time. • All cameras are located on the exterior of the property and in no way/shape/form point inside the house to protect your privacy. Devices are on 24/7. • Smart home device that detects noise decibel levels inside the home (living room). This device does not record video or audio. • An alarm will sound when noise level exceeds 90 decibels.
Guest access The entire house is accessible except one garage (used for storage).
By booking, you agree to all of the following house rules:
House Rules:
1. Smoking, drugs, and vape use is not allowed inside and outside the property. There is a $1,000 fine if discovered.
2. Parties are not allowed on this property, including loud music. Quiet Hours are 10pm - 7am. Any noise complaints from our neighbors will result in early termination of your stay. We will dispatch our local security team to escort guests off the premises. In the event of early termination due to violation of House Rules, your reservation will be non-refundable. In the event our security team is called out due to a noise complaint, guests are liable for any associated costs and expenses.
3. If an excessive mess is discovered after your stay, you will be charged accordingly on top of the standard cleaning fee. You will be charged for stained or damaged sheets/towels.
4. Vehicle owners are advised to read street parking signs. The Host is not responsible for parking tickets or any law violations.
5. Late check-out will incur a fee of $100/hr. Subject to approval and must be notified in advance.
6. You will be charged for any missing or damaged items.
7. Overnight guests that exceed the number stated in the reservation are not allowed. We do not allow visitors unless discussed and agreed upon prior to booking. Violation of this rule will result in a $200 USD penalty per person, per night.
8. Any cleaning issues must be reported within a reasonable time of check-in so that we can help resolve any issues you may have.
9. You are booking with a valid government-issued ID and are not engaging in fraud or identity theft.
10. No pets allowed.
11. There are 2 security cameras: Blocking or disconnecting any of these devices will lead to immediate termination of your stay with no refund.
12. By booking, you agree to not hold us liable for any injuries, lost items, or accidents or deaths that happen inside or outside the property.
13. Booking a reservation constitutes an agreement to comply with the House Rules. Guests who violate these rules are liable for any associated damages, fees, costs, or expenses, and may be removed from the property.
ADDITIONAL HOUSE RULES & AGREEMENTS:
CONDITION OF PROPERTY: Guests shall keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Household inventory and appliances shall be used conventionally and respectfully. Guests shall maintain a respectable level of cleanliness and tidiness in the home.
HOUSEKEEPING: There is no daily housekeeping service.
EVENTS AND COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY: The following activities are prohibited without the written consent of the Homeowner and will incur location fees: filming, professional photography, coordinated events or parties, miscellaneous commercial activities, music recording, or endeavors which typically incur a location expense beyond lodging. Please contact the Host for location fees.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: This home is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
