Beata Rose holiday flat with pool
Nestled at the foot of Monte Legnone, surrounded by rolling hills above Colico in the Laghetto district. The centre of Colico and the bay are just a few minutes away by car. The Beata holiday apartment – meaning ‘happy’ – has two bedrooms and feels like a house within a house thanks to its own external entrance and two panoramic terraces with a dining table and deckchairs on three sides of the house. They overlook Piona Bay and parts of the lake, the mountains, the pool and the surrounding meadows.
A beautiful barbecue is available in the communal garden area. Please use the tables and deck chairs from your apartment. The pergola officially belongs to the lower apartment, but can also be used by arrangement.
The Tuscan-style residence, comprising four houses and a total of five flats, is connected by three round arches. The rural neighbourhood features detached houses, small farms, pastures and meadows. A residential road ends at this elegant private residence.
The dual carriageway is located approximately 150 metres below.
Warm colours and terracotta tile floors give this flat a Mediterranean, inviting atmosphere. The open-plan living area captivates with plenty of light and a friendly, airy feel. The flat is accessible from the mountain side via an external staircase with about 20 steps. The hallway leads directly into the spacious living room with integrated kitchen.
The bright living area has a modern, well-equipped kitchen, a dining table and a cosy couch area with a double sofa bed. From here, you have two access points to the furnished roof terrace, which wraps around the apartment and offers stunning views of the lake and mountains. A stylish window fireplace between the kitchen and the couch area adds to the cosy atmosphere.
The sleeping area comprises a double bedroom with access to the roof terrace and a twin bedroom with an additional pull-out bed. The bathroom is decorated in shades of white and red and equipped with a shower.
There is a communal pool (3 x 5 metres) which is open from 1 June to 30 September, depending on the weather. The pool is hardly ever used by the other apartments, so you can usually enjoy peace and quiet.
The lake is about a 15-20 minute walk away.
Colico, at the northern end of Lake Como, offers a wide range of swimming opportunities for those seeking relaxation and active holidaymakers. North and south of Piona Bay, numerous bathing spots with partly sandy beaches invite you to sunbathe and swim. Particularly popular are the natural shore areas around the Adda estuary, where untouched beaches and a peaceful atmosphere prevail.
In addition to relaxing days spent swimming, Colico offers a wide range of water sports.
There are surfing and kitesurfing schools, canoe and stand-up paddleboard rentals, electric motorboats, and bicycle rentals for tours along the lake or into the Valtellina.
Colico is ideal for an active yet relaxing holiday by the water – with a perfect blend of nature, sport and recreation.
