The Space:

Escape to the lake and experience a getaway like no other at this recently renovated home! This splendid, family-friendly getaway enjoys an unbeatable location within a short walking distance of Lake Junaluska - there is a paved walking trail around the lake to make things even easier! You will be in a beautiful and relaxing area near restaurants, parks, fishing, and ski slopes. Some great attractions you can find nearby include Rose Walk, Vance Street Park, Deep Creek Tube Center, Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum, Maggie Valley Festival Grounds, and Cataloochee Ski Area. Also, day trips to Dollywood (72 miles) and Pigeon Forge (68 miles).



In addition to an unbeatable location, you are also granted access to a variety of entertaining community amenities, including an outdoor pool, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, and the historic Lake Junaluska Golf Course, a fun and challenging par-68, 18-hole course with scenic views of the Blue Ridge Mts and Lake Junaluska. Opened in 1919, the course now spans 5,108 yards and is open to the public year-round. Upon entering, you will encounter a beautifully updated open floor plan with all new flooring (wood and carpet), roof, and HVAC system. Spread out comfortably in the welcoming living area, furnished with comfy seating and a smart TV so you can stay up to date with your favorite series and movies.



A gorgeous brick fireplace is ready to keep you nice and toasty during your stay. Prepare culinary masterpieces in the well-appointed, open kitchen, which has been updated as well with all new custom hickory kitchen cabinets, a new refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The deck boasts an outdoor dining table - perfect for summertime hangouts! This mountain-view home also provides you with mini-surge protectors with USB ports in each bedroom for charging your phone/computer and board games. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 PM Check-out time: 10:00 AM All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. The outdoor pool is open daily, weather permitting, from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. One of the nicest rental properties we have stayed in! The beds were comfortable and the house was incredibly clean. The newly updated back porch was amazing! The vacasa staff were helpful with pre-trip questions. We will absolutely stay here again!

Lake Junaluska is absolutely breathtaking and this home is just a short walk away from the prayer chapel and lake loop. The house met our needs, we booked last minute and really just needed a place to rest our heads. Not incredibly cozy, but beds were comfy and we had the basics of what we needed! Perfect for a short stay where we could spend most of our time nearby outdoors!

We used the house as our hub for a quick get-a-way for our annual 3-generation of men golf trip, and I'm glad we did. The house was perfect for us, the beds were comfortable, finding it was easy, and it provided a great space for playing cards, cooking, bragging about all the bad shots we hit, and getting a little rest too. We'd highly recommend it!

Nice Place

This is a nice place very close to all the amenities of Lake Junaluska, namely the pool and boat rentals. We had a bit of difficulty getting in with codes/keys on the first day and there were a few small repair issues that needed addressing, but the local Vacasa representative was always quick to address our needs.

Nice home, not conducive for extended stay.

Positive: great location with access to the community amenities. The area offers a lot to do within an hour driving distance…golf, farms, waterfalls, hiking. Negative: No washer/dryer in the house (my fault when booking…I did not notice that it stated “coin laundry available”. Makes an extended stay vacation a bit of a challenge. Outdoor activities produce a lot of wet and dirty clothes. Also, the online listing said there was a grill available…there is a grill, but marked for “owner use only”! This was very disappointing because we are homebodies and like to grill and cook instead of eating out every meal. Cooking means cleaning up, again, lots of towels to wash and spending a morning at the laundromat was okay, but on vacation, not something preferable. We use Vrbo for most of our vacationing…I am not a big fan when the property is managed by Vacasa. My experience is there is no communication with the actual owner…not even a book to sign. Also, most Vrbo owners leave some type of welcome basket with a few goodies to get you through the first hours before a grocery run! Snacks, fruit, etc. just a nice gesture.
