I loved the 1930s vibe of this charming rental with great ocean views and breezes. The location was great for combining beach time with some LA tourist attractions. Convenient parking was a big plus also. It was perfect for a girls’ getaway.

The cottage was a great location with easy parking. It doesn’t have AC, so it was a little uncomfortable at night as it was pretty humid out. The bathroom was pretty tight and wasn’t very clean. The toilet had not been cleaned when you lifted the lid and the shower floor had mold. The communication with the owners was great, but I would recommend getting a better cleaning service.

Great home and view. Probably not suitable for families with kids. Older home, creaking floors make it noisy for the folks living below. Otherwise, super close to beach and great neighborhood!

We appreciate your feedback regarding the character of the home and the sound transmission between floors. As an older home, it does have some charming original features that guests may notice during their stay. Based on your feedback, we are adding additional area rugs to help reduce noise and will have a child safety gate to make the home more comfortable for families with younger children. thank you for choosing our property, and we hope to welcome you back to Manhattan Beach in the future.

Beautiful view. The living room is what seems like a converted patio, but loads of windows, fresh air, and views of the ocean. It was a wonderful place to stay and relax.I left the windows open to keep a breeze, and the lstreet lights and roid noise was present i am not accustomed to street noise, so it bothered me a bit, but probably not most people.My only feedback would be that shades in the bedroom would be nice to cut out the street lights, but that is more of an opinion.

This is a great place to stay in North Manhattan Beach. It's a really good location. I do wish that the windows in the bedroom facing the ocean had window treatments/coverings, but I'm sure that will be remedied. Also, the furniture and layout of the furniture did not exactly match the pictures; however, this didn't have any negative effect on our stay. The sole bathroom is a bit tight (especially the shower), but everything works. We didn't need to use the washer/dryer, but it's accessed from the outside (and appears to be shared with the occupants of the downstairs unit). The unit does not have air conditioning, but it was not necessary during our stay. Overall, it's got great parking (2 spaces, easy to maneuver), the mattresses were very good, and the furniture was nice and comfortable (especially in the sun room, which is great and has good views of the ocean). The hosts were responsive and very pleasant. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this home! The ocean breezes were great. It was the perfect place for our family—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the beach, great restaurants, and local shops, while still being in a quiet neighborhood where we could relax after busy days exploring.The home was exactly as described, and communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We had an stress-free and memorable vacation, and we’d happily stay here again. Highly recommended!
