Complimentary pool safety gear is available to use in the shed, including life jackets (2 adult, 1 child, 1 infant), flotation devices, pool noodles, toys, and a kickboard
Fire Table Safety Notice: When using the fire table on the dining table in the gazebo, please keep the doors and windows open at all times to ensure proper ventilation. Never use the fire table in a fully enclosed space.
AMENITY AVAILABILITY: Some amenities are seasonal: the outdoor pool, cold plunge, and sunroom are open from the May long weekend to the September long weekend (weather dependent). Outdoor furniture, BBQ, and fire table are available in spring/summer only. The hot tub, barrel sauna, and indoor amenities are available year-round.
✦ Additional Guest Fees ✦ A $25/night fee applies for each guest beyond 4. If you’re booking for more than 4 guests, the fee is already reflected in the nightly rate—no extra charges will be added after booking.
- All additional fees are subject to GST (5%) and Alberta Tourism Levy (6%) taxes for a total of 11%
PRE-ARRIVAL REQUIREMENTS (AFTER BOOKING) To ensure a smooth and secure check-in, all guests must complete a short pre-arrival process after the booking is confirmed. This is managed through a secure third-party guest portal and helps protect both you and our home. This verified process keeps everything transparent and ensures a worry-free stay for both guests and hosts.
Here's what to expect:
STAY PROTECTION OPTIONS To protect both our guests and the property, we offer two options prior to check-in:
· Damage Waiver ($50 CAD, non-refundable) — Covers accidental damage up to $700 CAD. No deposit hold on your credit card required.
OR
· Refundable Security Deposit ($700 CAD) — Pre-authorization only; collected 2 days before check-in and released automatically 5 days after checkout if there are no damages, missing items, or house rule violations.
Please note: A 2% payment processing fee is retained by our payment processor, so the refunded amount will be $686 CAD instead of the full $700 CAD. This fee is charged by the processor and is outside our control. If you cancel before the deposit is processed, no fee will be charged.
PLEASE NOTE: The damage waiver covers accidental damage only. It does not cover smoking, intentional or negligent damage, policy violations, or pet-related issues. Such costs may be charged separately. By booking, you confirm your agreement to these terms.

ID verification · A valid ID is required to verify the booking guest and ensure the safety and security of our home. This one-time step takes only a few minutes.
All pre-arrival steps must be completed before receiving your check-in instructions and door code.
HOT TUB RULES · Open daily from 7 AM to 10 PM · Registered guests only during the duration of their stay · Hot tub temperature must be maintained between 35°C–40°C (95°F–104°F) · Heated pool temperature must be set at 80°F to maintain an optimal level · Shower before use to reduce oils, lotions, and dirt in the water · No bubble bath, soaps, or oils — $500 drain fee if found · Limit use to 30 minutes per session · Only potty-trained children allowed in the hot tub · No glassware near or in the hot tub · Swimwear only — no regular clothing (detergents create excessive foam) · No food or drinks inside the tub · Do not remove the chlorine or pool monitor from the hot tub · Always replace the cover after each use
SAUNA RULES: -Hours of operation 8 am - 10 pm -Sauna is intended for registered guests only during the duration of their stay -The sauna temperature must NOT be set above 120°C -Sauna sessions are to be limited to 30 minutes or less. For first-time users, we recommend sessions of 10–12 minutes only. -Do not dry clothes, towels, or other textiles inside the sauna. Excess moisture may damage the wood, and fabrics placed near the heater may create a fire hazard. -Never place combustible or flammable materials on or near the sauna heater. -Rinse or cool down with water between sauna sessions. -Always make sure to drink plenty of water or mineral-rich fluids after use to stay hydrated. -Only pour water onto the heating stones using the provided ladle. -Do not use gasoline or liquid ignitors, paper, cardboard, or garbage in the wood burning sauna
COLD PLUNGE RULES: · Hours of operation 7 am - 10 pm a night · Cold plunge temperature must be set at 50°F to maintain an optimal level · Cold plunge are intended for registered guests only during the duration of their stay · Please use the washroom and shower prior to using the cold plunge to minimize amount of deodorant, oils, cream and dirt etc. that end up in the water. · Please note that bubble bath, soaps, or oils are prohibited from the cold plunge. If any are found, a full drain will be required at a cost of $500 plus tax. · No glassware in the cold plunge or anywhere near the areas · No food or other drink permitted in the cold plunge · Cover is to be placed back on after each use
*If glass or other debris are found in the cold plunge, hot tub, and pool, a $500 fee for a full drain and cleaning will be charged separately.
EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT · Check-in and check-out times are strictly enforced due to our cleaning schedule. Up to 2 hours of flexibility may be available with 24 hours' notice, subject to approval and a fee.
EXTERIOR CAMERAS · Please note there are exterior security cameras on both the front and back of the home for the safety of our property and neighbourhood.
