at The Welk. This 600-acre family water park and golf resort is located
in Escondido, California, just 30 miles north of San Diego. Enjoy a
setting of sprawling fairways and natural open spaces, and a location
with easy access to world-famous attractions, beaches, dining,
shopping, and much more. Aside from the resort's 2 championship golf
courses and 6 tennis courts, the property also boasts 4 recreation
centers, offering outdoor pools, fitness centers, spa tubs, and
lounges. For indoor fun and relaxation, guests can use the available
pool tables, ping-pong tables, video games, lounge area, and libraries.
The resort's water parks have 140-foot waterslides and interactive
playgrounds. There is also live entertainment courtesy of the renowned
Welk Theatre, offering headliners, Broadway-style musicals, and comedy
acts.

Guests who want to visit Southern California's tourist hotspots will
definitely appreciate the location of the Hyatt Vacation Club Villas on
the Green at The Welk. Downtown San Diego, the area's beaches, Wild
Animal Park, casinos, the San Diego Zoo, and Legoland are a short
driving distance away. Also, Temecula Valley, Southern California's
wine country, is only 22 miles away. Escorted tours to Hollywood are
offered by the resort, but guests are also free to make day trips on
their own to downtown Los Angeles, Disneyland, Universal Studios, and
other top tourist destinations in the LA area.

Hyatt Vacation Club Villas on the Green at The Welk, San Diego, feature
spacious one and two-bedroom villas with private balconies or patios
that overlook the canyons, golf courses, or pools. All units are
air-conditioned and have fully-equipped kitchens, complimentary
high-speed Internet access, cable television, and DVD players.
One-bedroom units house 4 people, while the two-bedroom villas
accommodate 6 to 8 guests.
