The Godewind House is located in the historic town center, not far from the newly redesigned lakeside promenade along Lake Schmachter. The wide, fine-sand Baltic Sea beach is about a 12-minute walk away. Our house was completely renovated in 1995 and refurbished again in 2013. It offers very modern and attractively furnished apartments for up to 6 people, ranging in size from approximately 65 to 78 square meters. Each apartment comes with a parking space.


You can bring your own towels and bed linens or book them in advance:
You can store your bicycles in the shared bicycle storage room in the basement.

The rental agreement is concluded exclusively between the guest and the owner of the rented apartment.



Apartment 12 / 3-room apartment “Dünenwind”:

The couch in the living room can be easily converted into a cozy sleeping area for 2 people.
In the living area, in addition to the dining area, you’ll find a flat-screen TV, a stereo system, and a Blu-ray player.
The kitchenette is equipped with a 4-burner ceramic cooktop, an oven, exhaust hood, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, and appliances such as a filter coffee maker, Senseo pod coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, and, of course, all the necessary dishes, silverware, and glasses. There is also a Leifheit wall-mounted clothes dryer and a vacuum cleaner in the kitchen.
Both bedrooms are furnished with a double bed, a TV, and wardrobes. A bathroom with a shower completes the apartment’s amenities.


The apartment includes a high chair, children’s cutlery, and dishes.

For a fee: towels and bed linens available upon advance request. Coin-operated washer and dryer available in the building.

A parking space and free Wi-Fi are included in the price.



Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and check-out is from 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
