This cozy room for up to 2 people features a double bed (no extra beds or cribs available), a shower/toilet, TV, and Wi-Fi. It combines the charm of a mountain cabin with simple comforts and is particularly well-suited for a short stay in the mountains. You can enjoy the morning sun from your balcony. You’re welcome to prepare your breakfast in the shared kitchen on the first floor (refrigerator, coffee maker, electric kettle, and dishes provided). A cozy lounge with seating is located in the basement. When the weather is nice, you can also enjoy your breakfast on your own balcony. A washing machine and dryer are available in the basement for all guests for a fee. Free of charge in our garden: You’ll find a Kneipp pool and plunge pool, a barefoot path, and a clothed sauna for four people with an outdoor shower (sauna open year-round, outdoor shower only in summer). Free parking is available right next to the house. Bicycles can be parked behind the house. Wi-Fi is available free of charge.

The BergGesundZeit house, lovingly designed in Alpine style, is quietly situated on a dead-end street in the Oberschönau district. Its location at the foot of the Watzmann is perfect for your active vacation in our beautiful region. Start your hikes or mountain bike tours right nearby. In winter, when snow conditions permit, numerous cross-country ski trails wind through the municipality of Schönau.

A washing machine and dryer are available in the basement for all guests for a fee. The basement features a cozy lounge with seating for breakfast or for relaxing game nights. Feel free to help yourself to books from our bookshelf (available for loan).
Free for you in our garden: You’ll find a Kneipp pool and plunge pool, a barefoot trail, and a clothed sauna for four people with an outdoor shower (sauna open year-round, outdoor shower only in summer).
Free parking is available right next to the house. You can park your bike safely and conveniently at the back of the house. Here you’ll find sturdy, securely anchored bike racks for e-bikes, mountain bikes, and more. You can charge your e-bike’s battery right at the bike parking area; there are six outlets available there.

It’s about a 10-minute walk to the bus stop. From the train station to the BergGesundZeit house, it’s about 5 kilometers (just go straight ahead and then 150 meters up a steep hill). The nearest bakery is a 5-minute drive away (Oberschönauer Str. 14, Bäcker Brüder). You’ll find restaurants and shops either in the Schönau “Unterstein” center or in the town of Berchtesgaden. The “Bodner” inn, which serves traditional Bavarian home-style cuisine, is a 5-minute drive away.
