Summary:

Just a short walk from the Puget Sound, you'll find Rowandale. A mid-century modern charmer, this home gets its name from the beautiful Rowan Tree nestled in front of the home. A place of pure peace and warm welcomes, the home has been adorned with touches of Pacific Northwest, Scandinavian, and Japanese influence.



Walking inside, you will instantly take notice of the light-filled living room. Composed of high ceilings, comfortable furnishings, and floor-to-ceiling windows, this room offers a serene spot to sit back, visit, and stream your favorite shows.



The Space:

Steps away, the updated kitchen radiantly gleams with its white tile backsplash and stainless steel appliances. When mealtime rolls around, dine family-style at the formal dining table, or take your culinary creations outside where you can dine al fresco on the deck.



Through exploring the rest of the home, you will find a cozy media room, complete with another large TV, a work desk, and a bookshelf full of travel books. Everyone's slumber is guaranteed to be restful amongst the bedroom's soft linens, inviting color palettes, and central air-conditioning.



Away from Rowandale, visit Chambers Bay PGA Golf Course (1.6 miles), Fort Steilacoom Park (5.4 miles), the Museum of Glass (8.6 miles), and the Washington State Fair Events Center (18.4 miles).

Beautiful house that was immaculately clean! Our stay was very comfortable and the host provided everything needed for a short stay in the PMW. Conveniently located to SEA-TAC. Nice quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at this property was very pleasant. Appreciated being able to check-in early. Host was responsive. The home was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with fast Wi‑Fi, a large backyard, and convenient walking distance to Puget Sound. University Place was a beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here in the future when we are in the area.

Our stay at this property was excellent. Early check‑in was much appreciated, and the host communicated promptly. The home was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with reliable Wi‑Fi, a generous backyard, and a convenient walk to Puget Sound. University Place proved to be a beautiful and relaxing location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future.

House was well stocked with extra towels and cozy blankets . Kitchen had all the necessary tools to cook x Brita was nice , saved us purchasing bottled water . Beds were very comfy . Everything very clean and neat . Location close to attractions and freeways . Enjoyed our 5 night visit .

We weren't sure about the major road near by, but it wasn't a big deal at all. There were grocery stores close by that were very useful for our stay. We chose this location due to it's proximity to our family so we could not have been happier with it logistically. The house was clean and the larger beds were comforatble. We didn't sleep in the twins, but our kid did and it was comfortable for her. This home met the needs of our family and worked out very well.

Grandparent visit University Place

We rented this home because it was very close to our grandchildren. The house was clean, yard was nice and the house is laid out well. I was disappointed that the bathtub plug was broken and wasn't fixed during our stay. The shower in the master is very small but there is another shower in the main bathroom. There are 2 large living areas with comfy couches and big tvs. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was nicely stocked. We would stay here again.

Just what we needed

Our stay at the property was a good experience overall. Beds were comfortable & house was clean. Was an easy access/entry into the house. Plenty of space for when U needed it. My only quip was that the stove when cooking, only seemed 2 work on high, U could not slow cook/simmer anything. Which is my preferred way of cooking. Otherwise, we had a great time, the house was just what we needed.
