Love the location. Host was super helpful. Pillows are very flat so that wouod be a nice upgrade. Kitchen isn't as stocked as other vrbos (for example no hot pads but we did buy one and leave it). But overall we loved it and would stay at this one again.

Overall, we had a good stay. The location was excellent, and the listing was accurate. One thing to note is that there are a lot of tile stairs throughout the property, which may be a consideration for some guests.The primary bedroom has a ceiling fan, but the other two bedrooms do not. The air conditioning worked very well, the bathrooms were nice, and the private hot tub was a great bonus and worked perfectly.The property could benefit from a deep cleaning, and the dishwasher appears to need servicing or replacement, as it leaked during use. The washer and dryer also could use maintenance, and several light bulbs throughout the condo were burned out. With a little additional upkeep, this would be an even better place to stay.

The master bebroom upstairs has a double bathroom so the other two rooms have to share the bathroom downstairs. One of the first floor rooms is barely big enough for the queen size bed in it. All three beds were terribly noisy and very firm. Kitchen faucet was broken. Doors not opening and terrible water pressure upstairs. Water filter in fridge was clogged as well. Not a single level picture on the wall in the house. Too bad because the pool and the beach were great.

The bungalow is very spacious, beautiful decorated and well equipped; It has everything you need for your stay. It was very clean upon our arrival and check in process very fast. We highly recommend this place!!

Great location and amenities

Located looking over the pool and only 100 yards to the beach. Beautiful views and it has everything you need for your stay but the food. Enjoyed staying here and would definitely rent this unit again when I come here again.

Christmas in SPI

Bungalow had a great hot tub with powerful jets. Spa and game rooms were a hit. I would highly recommend this place to families!

South Padre Paradise

We loved this condo from the moment we pulled into our private garage. The kids had their own rooms and we had a master sweet that was beautiful. The main floor living space was great for cooking, playing games and spending time together as a Family. I highly recommend this location an my wife and I are already trying to figure out when we could come back to visit the area.

Awesome Place

The Sapphire is the way to go to South Padre with a family. The bungalow #106 was amazing, very clean, well furnished and awesome view of the pool and ocean - Perfect for our family. The personal Hot tub on the deck was perfect end to each night! Only complaint was the elevator in the condo was not available for our use so 2 flights of stairs was tough and scary for the kids.

Great location!

We loved the location of this bungalow. The proximity to the pool and beach were amazing and it's wonderful to have a garage! The condo was well equipped with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The master bed was uncomfortable (we slept on the couch) and there were no beach towels or other basics like salt and pepper and coffee filters. We bought the latter after we arrived.

Bring your own essentials and be forewarned about the stairs!

Property was beautiful and great access to pool and beach. There are A LOT of stairs, so just be considerate of that. Some of the people in our group were exhausted from the stairs by the end of the trip. Kitchen is not very well stocked, so make sure if there is anything you need, you bring it yourself (pans, utensils, even down to salt and pepper). Other than that it was a great property!

Poolside Bungalow

We love the Sapphire and the poolside bungalows. This unit was more affordable than the others but it did come with some drawbacks. It could have stood to be cleaned better. I’ll leave it at that. It does need some maintenance done, such as the kitchen and upstairs tub faucets replaced but all and all it’s a great room for being poolside.

Great stay!!!

This is a great condo. It has three stories, mostly new furniture and a new grill at the time of our stay. It has a private single car garage at the lower level and a private hot tub. Concierge and staff was great and the exercise room was larger than most places with a large amount of newer/well maintained equipment. Kids loved the the theater and game room. Spouse enjoyed the onsite massage spa for a half day of pampering. The condo is right next to the amazing pool and very easy access to the beach which is about 100 yards from the end of the pool. There is also a larger community hot tub just a few feet away from the front door. This is a resort type atmosphere and I would recommend it to anyone.

Big and Beautiful

Has it all as far as space needs and quick access to beach and pool and private hot tub steps from bottom floor. Inside is super cool and you feel like a multi-millionaire in such a cool pad, BUT this cool pad needs deep clean, paint, and water damage repair. Wasn’t super clean - trash on balcony, counter tops sticky and dirty, walls have drippy stains. When they tell you they provide nothing, believe it. No coffee, no drinking water, no laundry pods, NADA. Order groceries! Pool has zero food, drinks, or service of any kind so plan to pack a cooler. All this being said, it’s super hard to complain about such a beautiful location and layout. I enjoyed the hot tub, beach walks, and almost empty pool in October.

Bungalow 106 - Great stay

My family (kids and sister and cousins) stayed at Sapphire Bungalow 106 during August 2020. Was stress free, I was a bit worried as others complained about the resort being a jail however no such thing. Customer service at checkin desk, to grounds people and security staff were all pleasant. This property by far was one of the most tastefully decorated and in the perfect location, in the middle of the pools. Just step out patio and right into the luxury pool. Full view of the entire pool and out to the beach. It also provided EVERY cooking/baking/beverage products needed. Indoor parking for 1 vehicle so if you don’t want to struggle to find parking or interact with others the bungalow is the way to go. My only complaint would be the amount of stairs (master on top floor, living/dining/kitchen on second and 2 rooms on ground floor). Also wish there was an umbrella or covering by the 2nd or ground floor patio. We are definitely looking forward to staying at Bungalow 106 again!
