Stylish Alpine chalet with ski-in/ski-out access in Leogang, near the Steinberg Gondola

Chalet Steinberg is located in Leogang, in the Rain district, in a quiet setting along the Steinberg ski run and only about 500 m from the valley station of the Steinbergbahn. From here, guests have direct access to the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn Ski Circus—one of Austria’s largest ski areas, with 270 kilometers of slopes. The chalet is perfect for winter sports enthusiasts who want to enjoy ski-in/ski-out convenience. A practice lift for children is just a 100-200 -meter walk from the chalet. But even in summer, Chalet Steinberg is ideally located as a starting point for hikes, for mountain bikers, and for guests who want to visit Salzburg, Zell am See, Kitzbühel, or the Großglockner, play golf, or simply enjoy the mountains.

Chalet Steinberg underwent extensive renovation in 2020 with great attention to detail and was transformed into an exclusive vacation chalet. State-of-the-art amenities combined with a charming Alpine look make the chalet a stylish mountain retreat with magnificent views of the Leoganger Steinberge to the north and the Steinerne Meer to the east. The chalet features a split-level design and can accommodate up to 8 people. On the entry level, there is a living/sleeping area with a bunk bed, a sleeper sofa, and a separate sitting area—here, children have their own little kingdom! A few steps lead down from the entryway to the sauna and utility rooms. On the garden level is the large open living area with a flat-screen TV, a cozy dining area, and a tasteful fireplace room with large panoramic windows. Amateur chefs will be in their element in the fully equipped country-style kitchen. A large, well-maintained garden and two terraces facing different directions invite you to relax, play, sunbathe, or enjoy meals. A few steps lead from the garden level up to a mezzanine, which features a bedroom with a double bed, a balcony, and a separate bathroom with a tub, shower, and toilet. A few more steps lead up to the upper floor. Here, in addition to two bedrooms with a shared balcony—from which guests can enjoy a magnificent view of the mountains—there is also a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The chalet does not have child safety gates on the stairs or childproof outlets. We assume no liability for accidents.

The nearest restaurant—a very beautiful and rustic one—is within walking distance of the chalet; otherwise, Leogang offers a wide variety of restaurants to suit different tastes, as well as a well-stocked supermarket, village store, butcher, and bakery, all of which are just a few minutes’ drive away.
