Ubicada en un jardín, esta cabaña aislada y acogedora cuenta con techos abovedados y tablas de madera pulida, decoradas con buen gusto en un estilo vintage ecléctico. Una cocina totalmente equipada se abre a una cómoda sala de estar, con un lujoso sofá, una gran silla mullida, un centro de entretenimiento y un comedor con vista al jardín. Ingrese al dormitorio con una cama tamaño queen y una vista de las montañas o relájese en la combinación de bañera / ducha con patas. Este encantador bungalow es perfecto para un retiro privado o como base para su escapada a Santa Bárbara.

El estacionamiento fuera de la calle le permite a uno caminar diez minutos hasta el vibrante centro de la ciudad de Santa Bárbara, donde se encuentran numerosos restaurantes, galerías de arte, cines, boutiques, tiendas y cafeterías. Ubicada a tres cuadras de State Street, aproximadamente a una milla de la histórica Misión de Santa Bárbara, aproximadamente a dos millas de la playa / costanera, a 30 millas del Valle de Santa Ynez y las Islas del Canal frente a la costa, esta cabaña está perfectamente ubicada para sus vacaciones en la costa central.

We did not visit the national park, only the botanical gardens, as the weather was not conducive to road travel. The cottage was delightful, and Janet provided the first day's breakfast and a great bottle of wine. Will go back if we return to Santa Barbara in the future.Shops and restaurants were easily accessible.

Clean, eclectic, and unique historic Santa Barbara compound with off-street parking for one car. The owner / manager, Janet, lives at the front of the property and is very attentive. The only thing missing was a propane grill for barbecuing (there is a Weber charcoal grill available). I would stay there again without hesitation.

Wonderful getaway!

Janet’s place was just perfect for me. Very peaceful, comfortable bed, everything you could possibly need. It was the getaway I had dreamed about! I will be going back.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The owner Janet was extraordinary, extremely helpful. The house was very clean and it was beautiful. Thank you Janet for making our anniversary trip amazing!!! I am definitely recommend it to my friends and if we go back to Santa Barbara we for sure will stay there. You can walk to Downtown but need a car to go to the beach.

Tree Top

Lovely tree top get away. The accommodations were everything we wanted. It has a comfortable bed, nice clean bathroom with a claw tub. The kitchen had all the gadgets we needed. The living room area was comfy and the art work was well displayed. It has an old world charm. The location for us was just perfect. We also loved the convenience of having a washer and dryer available for use.

Friendly Garden Oasis

I stayed here for over a month. It is a delightful cottage in the trees surrounded by a lovely garden. The abundance of birds make it a true tree house. Janet was extremely accommodating, kind & helpful. The cottage amenities give it a true old world feeling. It is very centrally located in Santa Barbara within walking distance to several parks & eateries. She made all allowances for my pup. I was very comfortable there and felt at home. Thank you

We loved staying at the Treetop Getaway. Janet thought of absolutely everything and the beautiful, sweet place has a comfortable, homey ambiance with not one negative. We originally rented this place because it was dog-friendly, but lost our dog before we went on the trip. Rufus also would have loved it. I will stay here any and every time that I travel to Santa Barbara. Janet is helpful, kind, thoughtful and the perfect host. Thank you!

Great secluded tree top hideaway

Janet’s Tree Top Cottage was just the spot I needed to spend some very important and needed “me time”. Although the perfect spot for exploring all the treats Santa Barbara has to offer, it is also a property that you will want to stay in and cozy up. That was my experience as the weather was unusually overcast most of my stay. Nevertheless I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the property and just relaxing. Janet was so kind and welcoming, including having fresh eggs from “the girls” in the fridge along with some homemade granola and yogurt, even half and half and coffee! Downtown, shops, restaurants ext. are all an easy walk or short drive away. You will really enjoy your stay!

Absolutely wonderful!

Place is exactly as described and much more with incredible attention to every detail. I highly recommend the Tree Top. We had a relaxing stay with every need already anticipated. The garden is just heavenly and breakfast items first morning were so fresh and extra convenient. Janet is a superb hostess and I would love to return next year!

Beautiful treetop escape

Janet’s listing was beyond beautiful. The light and cheery unit was perfect for enjoying the peace and time to slow down with a cup of coffee and a book, and walking distance to State street, full of charming restaurants, shops, and even an awesome coworking space (Kiva). The location is perfect for exploring Santa Barbara; one day we walked down to the beach and then back up through town, sightseeing AND exercise with an urban hike. The place is the ultimate cozy and private. The kitchen is fully equipped and the clawfoot tub is a lovely touch. Honestly, we can’t wait to stay again. Janet is a gem.

Fabulous garden bungalow. My husband and I loved it!

This is a magic bungalow. Tucked in among the trees, flowers and ferns of the most fabulous compound. The bungalow is stocked with all of the utensils one might need to fix meals. The location is fabulous, it is quiet and Janet is wonderful. My husband and I will be returning as regular visitors to the magic garden and Santa Barbara hide away.

Janet is definitly the best host ever, she has a great taste and she is a very kind person, the place has a very nice feeling, everything you could need is there. It was flowers in a vase on the table, her own chicken eggs in the fridge, bacon, milk, wine, butter, coffee. Being there for Thanksgiving, I was invited at her family dinner, only 24 people, and she went way over the traditional dinner, unbelievable. The bed is extremely comfortable, from large towels, to sheets to bed comforter, it is all pure cotton and it feel so good, no synthetic here. I could go on, but I think that you get the picture. Great stay at Janet's cottage!

Cozy tree top cottage with everything you need! Gated property with a lovely garden walkway leading to the upstairs unit. We stayed at Janet's for three months when I worked a contract at Cottage hospital. 15 minute walk to the hospital and also a 15 minute walk to state street! Janet was a great hostess! Our pup even got so settled in, she didn't want to leave! We hope to be back soon! Would recommend and would stay again!

Tree Top is the perfect little home in a gorgeous place. Surrounded by trees and bamboo with mountain views it’s a private oasis in the middle of the beauty that is Santa Barbara. Janet is wonderful! She really has thought of everything and made me feel welcome from the start. She goes above and beyond to make guests comfortable. Special touches like coffee (and creamer), bacon, eggs from her chickens and bread waiting for you so breakfast is easy the next morning really allow you to relax. The cottage is homey with a comfortable bed and a claw foot tub and everything you could need for your stay. Tree top is walking distance to upper State St and Alice Keck Park. There is an IHOP 3-4 blocks away and a deli about the same distance. Easy access to the 101. Less than 10 min drive to the beach, the Mission and hiking nearby. Trader Joe’s and Ralph’s are a short drive as well. If you book tree top you won’t be disappointed and I know you’ll love it as much as I do.

Amazing secluded spot, perfect for long term vacay

Janet's place was everything we could have asked for and more. Her property feels incredibly secluded but is only a short walk from the wonders of State St. Janet herself was very accommodating during our stay. We certainly plan to return in future!

Marvelous TreeTop getaway

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this cozy second story tree top unit. It is close enough to downtown Santa Barbara to walk to shopping, movies, the Santa Barbara Art Museum and restaurants. It is furnished with plenty of cooking utensils and dishes as well as random spices and other cooking needs. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Santa Barbara.

Lovely rental

My wife and i stayed for 2 nights in Janet's Treetop Getaway and loved every minute of our stay. The apartment was well furnished with everything you might need. It was clean and felt very welcoming from the bottles of water and the bottle of wine, to the food in the refrigerator and the full kitchen assortment of appliances. Our hostess Janet was very pleasant and helpful in guiding us to places we were seeking out. A nice quiet Oasis in the city of Santa Barbara. would highly recommend as a unique and inviting location.

Absolutely Perfect!

This location is fantastic and Janet and her team do a great job as hosts. My parents stayed here in early September and they still rave about it. They're eager for a second trip to this quaint oasis. I can't thank you enough for giving them a great place to stay, delicious breakfast and overall, an incredibly memorable experience. Fantastic stay!

My husband, my dog, and I stayed for two nights at one of Janet's cottages and we couldn't be any happier. Janet is a wonderful hostess and will make whatever it takes to make you feel like home. Everything was well thought and planned, the cottage was really tidy and clean and it came with perks like bottled water by the bed, a bottle of wine upon arrival, and tasty breakfast including fresh eggs from Janet's chickens :) Janet is really accommodating, we will definitely be back. Wonderful Weekend Getwaway

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend and had an amazing time. We were visiting from San Francisco and wanted a cozy rental in a nice location, and Janet's property was perfect! She is so kind, very welcoming and even introduced us to all the beautiful chickens. Breakfast was delicious and having the bicycles was very convenient. We will definitely be back!

Amazing time!

We were welcomed with open arms by our lovely host Janet. The treetop cottage was very warm, inviting, and cozy. The location was perfect and we were able to bike around at our leisure. There was so much to do in SB, however staying at the cottage was a highlight since it was quite romantic. If you're looking for the perfect place to stay in SB, look no further! Janet's cottage is where it's at! BTW - her chickens lay the freshest and tastiest eggs for a delightful breakfast treat! :)

Loved it!

Another wonderful stay in one of Janets cozy and very clean cottages! Love the comfortable bed, nice linens, interesting and fun furnishings and use of the bicycles! So relaxing and private, perfect vacation spot.
