Surroundings
A dream location right behind the dune: Only about 50 meters separate this typical Fischland vacation home—with ten units—from the white Baltic Sea beach. A small side street ensures pleasant tranquility away from the main road. The town center, with its shops, restaurants, cafés, and numerous art galleries, is within easy walking distance. A special highlight is the fish market on the Strom, where freshly caught fish is sold directly from the boat—provided the wind is blowing at less than three knots.

Vacation Apartment
Located near the beach and cozily furnished, this one-room apartment offers 25 m² of living space in bright, cheerful colors —ideal for a relaxing vacation for two.

Living & Sleeping Area
Compact and thoughtfully designed, the open-concept living and sleeping area combines all functions in a small space. Amenities include a double bed, a small seating area, and a dining table by floor-to-ceiling windows. A practical mini-kitchen makes self-catering a breeze. From here, you have direct access to the terrace and can enjoy an open, light-filled living experience.

Bathroom
The separate bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet.

Outdoor Area
A small, west-facing sun terrace with a view of the dunes invites you to wind down your vacation to the sound of the ocean and atmospheric sunsets. A parking space is also available.

Sauna
The building features a shared sauna that operates on a coin-operated system.
A token (good for 90 minutes of use) is available for 5 EUR at the Meerfischland office.

Accessibility
Access to the building is via a single step. The apartment is located on the first floor and is fully accessible within the unit. Thanks to the compact, single-room layout, there are no thresholds or changes in floor level. The bathroom features a shower with a shower pan.

Just a few meters from the beautiful Baltic Sea beach and situated as the last house before the white sand dunes, you’ll find the charming thatched-roof vacation complex “Strandhaus Claassen.” The idyllic location, with views of the sea, the dunes, and the picturesque countryside surrounded by traditional thatched-roof cottages, is truly one-of-a-kind. You can’t get any closer to the sea when vacationing in Ahrenshoop. And the town center, with its many cafés, restaurants, art galleries, bakeries, fish shops, and the supermarket, is just a stone’s throw away on foot. It’s the perfect vacation complex for leaving your car behind and exploring all the sights on foot or by bike.

To the vacation complex
There are a total of ten vacation apartments in the complex, all with thatched roofs. Although similarly equipped, the cozy vacation apartments vary in size, capacity, and features such as terraces and balconies—some with garden views and others with the popular ocean view. Inside the building itself, there is a communal sauna with a relaxation room, offering a soothing break from a long walk on the beach—especially during the colder months. Strandhaus Claassen captivates with its traditional Darß-style architecture; just the sight of it radiates the joy of vacation. A stone wall runs around the property, blending harmoniously with the beachfront surroundings. Incidentally, all ten vacation apartments have one thing in common: the melodious sounds made by the sea and the seabirds. It’s the perfect place to unwind from everyday life, enjoy the view of the sea, and let your mind wander.
