Fabulosa casa familiar con vistas al campo de golf desde la cubierta, cinco dormitorios grandes (capacidad para 11/12), cinco baños y una sala maravillosa de estar que incluye una mesa de billar, mesa de ajedrez, televisión de pantalla grande para el "juego" todo en frente a la chimenea. Nuestra casa es también un gran lugar para caminar con los lazos de todo el campo de golf, incluyendo maravillosas vistas de la pradera y de todos los montes de la zona de Northstar. Northstar tiene todas las actividades que desee. Golf, patinaje, paseos en bicicleta, paseos a caballo, senderismo, natación, tenis, centro de recreación con instalaciones de entrenamiento, etc. etc. Todo está aquí! En el invierno ... a esquiar con una amplia gama de desafíos, pistas de esquí, patinaje sobre hielo, un centro de ocio con una amplia gama de equipos y maravillosos restaurantes para disfrutar de su familia o compañía especial. No se puede encontrar un mejor resort con más comodidades que Northstar y alojarse en nuestra casa será un gran complemento para sus vacaciones. PLUS! Si bien en nuestra casa disfrutan de tomar el servicio de transporte en todo el complejo y pases de cortesía al centro de recreación para nadar, hacer ejercicio, baño en el spa, sala de juegos, piscina, tenis, etc, etc. Northstar es inmejorable!

The property was clean well stocked with supplies. The house accommodated three families pool table was a hit with everybody the views were calming and relaxing.

The place was excellent for big families, kitchen had all what you need for cooking and have great meals. Very clean and spacious, loved that each room had its own bathroom. Highly recommend

Check-in was a breeze, the place was spacious. We had 10 adults and 1 baby and there was plenty of room. The place was clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. I was inpressed with the kitchen. It well stocked with seasonings and oil. It had all the pots, pans and cooking utensils that we needed. They also had a bunch of games for us which was great. If we come and visit Truckee again, I would definetly book here again!

Stay was wonderful! A lot bigger than expected with plenty of room for the whole family. Having five bathrooms was great especially when coming back from the lake and not having to wait hours for your turn to shower. Also, two of them did have carpet so that was a little different but, wasn’t an issue. The pool table, chess board, dart board, and board games kept the kids entertained all weekend. We enjoyed relaxing out on the back deck during the day and cozying up by the fireplace at night. Overall, great stay and would definitely recommended!

Wonderful family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The pool table was a huge hit with both kids and adults, as was the large chess table. There was a huge closet filled with a large selection of board games, and the ski shuttle picked up from just the end of the driveway, making getting to Northstar for our ski vacation super-easy. The house could use a few more large pots (to help with meal preparations for a large group). The dishwasher functioned well, but needs to be bolted into the cabinet. These are minor issues that can be easily fixed. Would be happy to visit again!

Great location! Great stay!

Stayed the weekend with my teammates and their significant others for a weekend of fun and team bonding! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to meet our needs. The decor was eclectic and cozy! I'd describe it as Black Bear Diner meets Tahoe wood cabin! It was just what we needed to unplug play some card games and relax! I brought along my two year old son and he had a blast counting all the bear decor. Owner was extremely communicative and very friendly! The shuttle to the resort was so convenient!

Even Non-skiers Can Enjoy this House

We were three generations of family, ages 19-82. We did not come to ski. The great room was perfect with the pool table and plenty of space for table games and tv watching. We did not use the Village or recreation facilities as they were quite far. Cars were lined up in the driveway making going in and out difficult. Some of our group have allergies and were bothered by the dog/cat hair on sofas and beds.

Fun and Relaxing

We had a fantastic short stay filled with fun and relaxation. On one hand some might say this place is in need of an update, however others may revel in the “nostalgic decor” and be glad they don’t have to worry about staining or damaging anything. Bottom line, it was well built and designed, therefore the fact that nothing has changed should be celebrated. The bedrooms provide a pleasant comfortable stay for a large group with each area having an on suite toilet. Everything worked as expected. The fireplace and HVAC were excellent. We would come back to this property and stay again. Also want to give a shout out to Chris for being so accommodating and attentive to our questions. Really appreciate everything.

Cozy home close to Northstar

We went up to Northstar with friends for a ski weekend and definitely enjoyed staying at this home. It was spacious enough for our group of 9 and all we needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in was straightforward (though we did need to proactively reach out for check-in instructions as there seemed to be a VRBO snafu with our contact details not being shared with the host) and there was enough space in the driveway for our cars (no space in the garage as it's being used for storage). Rooms and bathrooms were OK.There were lots of nice small things that our group appreciated too. There are tons of board games in the main walk-in closet. The pool table and giant chess set in the living room were awesome. We even used their telescope to look at the stars on a clear night. The kitchen at first seems dated, but all the appliances were completely functional. There are sufficient condiments in the fridge as well as spices in the cabinets. Dishes, pots, pans and utensils were all there as well, it's definitely one of the better stocked kitchens we've experienced. Getting around the resort was straightforward with the Northstar Village Transit app. Take note that their service typically only starts at 7:30am, and ends completely at 6pm. The Rec Center was a nice amenity - we enjoyed using the pool (heated), jacuzzi/hot tubs (there are 3 that can fit lots of people, like 25-50 at a time) and sauna. Also note that there is a $10 entrance fee/person (and $2 towel rental).

Tahoe Trip

Had an amazing time catching up with our close friends and to be able to share the beauty of Lake Tahoe, Truckee area. Would stay here again since it had everything we needed to enjoy relaxing and celebrating

Family ski trip

Property was in a great location and perfect for a large family to stay. Easy access to the shuttle and close enough to drive if you chose to do. Chris was so easy to work with and VERY responsive. We would definitely rent Chris's place again.

Nice place for ski vacation

Great location to Northstar ski resort. House has every thing and enough room for family and friend. Owner is very responsible and generous. Will definitely return if visit Northstar next season.

Great family home

Great location, large space to fit our big group. Kids loved the Poole table and big chess table. Shuttle was easy to use to get to the village and the Rec center. We enjoyed the fire place too!

Excellent property for multi-generational family

Easy checkin; clean and extremely well-equipped; responsive owner. Check out was equally easy, and I appreciated not having to strip beds, place towels in wash, broom clean, etc., as I have with other VRBO rentals (leaving me wondering what the “cleaning fee” was for). Only issue was with the water heater, which was “off” on arrival and needed to have the pilot relit. No big deal if one has done that before, but the water heater and controls were not accurately described in the posted instructions which was confusing. Would certainly rent again, especially now that I have figured out how things work.

Great Stay

This large house was comfortable for our family of 12; 6 adults, 6 kids. It was one of the best stocked homes we have stayed in. Pool table and chess table were a hit. Sofa was really nice! Backyard was great for sledding. Shuttle service was super. Because my wife cooks all the dinners, the only minor complaint would be that the stove needs to be updated. But we would gladly rent this lovely home again!! Thank You Christine!

Great family home

This home was great for our 3 families. More than enough sleeping accommodations. Also an added feature having the shuttle pick up to the Village! Would highly recommend this home for families!

My family stayed here for summer and it was such a beautiful home. There was plenty of kitchen utensils and cookware. I will definitely be booking again.

Mini Family reunion in Tahoe

The home was perfect for us and our adult children plus a 2 year old! Evening barbeques on the rear deck watching the sunset were wonderful!
