We had a great stay! There were plenty of bedrooms for everyone and lots of things to do. The hot tub and backyard amenities were so much fun. Everything was clean and the hosts were very communicative. The views were 10/10 and we even saw whales from the living room. We would definitely recommend this place for a large group.

This house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our yearly girls weekend. The beds were so comfortable and we had everything we needed to prepare meals and just enjoy being together. The front porch was great for just relaxing and people watching and in the backyard we had a great time learning how to play bocce ball. Very highly recommended. We hope to come again one day.

Incredible views

You will come for the view, and the bonus is the comfort of the home. Every detail is anticipated - kitchen items, blankets, towels, outdoor games, fire pit, hot tub, etc. Our family of five plus 2 dogs felt super comfortable here. The spacious backyard was pet friendly, and we hung out there more than we expected. The location cannot be beat, too! The road was not noisy and the ocean/people/dog watching was amazing. Cannot recommend enough.

Ideal location

Our family of 13 spent a week in Santa Cruz. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! My grandchildren enjoyed biking, rollerblading and skateboarding on the walking trail. The adults were obsessed with whale watching (we saw several) from the front patio! The back yard was private, safe and spacious. Centrally located to enjoy everything that the area offers (aquarium, train ride, wineries). Thanks for the memories, Gia!

Front and back yard

We loved watching sunrise and sunset in front of fire out front while kids rode bikes and scooters. The backyard activities had something for everyone. The house lends itself to different spaces for quiet or more active activities. We walked and biked everywhere! Boardwalk, beac, etc...

Birthday celebration with adult daughter, family and friends

8 adults and one little dog enjoyed a 4 night stay at this home. There was plenty of space to accommodate everyone, plus a large back yard with seating, boce, corn hole and hot tub. The front has a terrific seating area where you can look out on the Pacific ocean and people watch. The owners even provide binoculars for whale watching. The owners were very responsive with any communications that we had, and were generous with offering us late check out (unasked for, but welcomed) as the cleaning crew was not coming until the following day. Our group was able to explore Santa Cruz and enjoy walks along the coast from the property. The owners also provided a welcome basket which was appreciated. I would return to this property again if the opportunity arose.

Wonderful home base for a beach weekend

The house was clean, very well equipped, with plenty of space and lots of entertainment for all family members, including the hot tub and outdoor shower. Beautiful ocean views, friendly people and dogs going by, quick walk to beaches or grocery. We especially appreciated the kitchen, with all the equipment and appliances needed to make meals easy for the whole family. Sitting and watching the pelicans fly by might have been our favorite part. We made wonderful memories here!

Great Beach House

west cliff celebration

We celebrated my birthday with our two children and grandkids ages 11 and 14. The house was great. There were plenty of activities including a spa in the backyard to keep everyone busy. The location is spectacular and Gia is easy to reach with any questions.

A bit of paradise!

This home was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. The fire pit in the front yard allows for a beautiful ocean view and great people watching! The backyard is perfect for adults and children both. We come to Santa Cruz often and this house was one of our favorites. We will definitely return!

The Backyard!

Our stay was a Christmas present for our kids (2 adult kids, with spouses and grandchildren, plus ourselves). The home easily fit all of us with space to spare. The house is decorated beach/Zen themed with beautiful live plants too. While the front yard looks cozy, we didn't use it at all because it was pretty windy and much colder in the front yard, but the backyard was awesome--10 degrees warmer and no wind and so spacious with lounging spots and toys! We learned to play bocce ball, which was so much fun! The spa was nice and BBQ worked perfectly. The kitchen had everything we needed for each family's prepared dinner night. While the construction and fence across the Pacific Ocean view was disappointing at first, it actually was nice because there were no cars in front of the house and the traffic was minimal. The house is an easy walk to the Surfer's museum. We drove to the Boardwalk area, but I suppose you could walk (without children). We loved the Surfers Paradise!

CELEBRATION VACATION LOCATION

I can’t say enough about how amazing this experience was for our entire family. 12 of us stayed here for five nights to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from UC Santa Cruz. Family came in from Indiana and we wanted a space that made everyone feel comfortable but was close to The ocean. Santa Cruz offers so many fun activities for all ages, but having a space to come home to that was equally as fun was really important to us, and we found it at this space. We ranged in age from 20 months to 90 years old and every member of the family found something they especially loved about this Space. Hearing the roar of the ocean at night, seeing the moon reflection on the water, watching the surfers during the morning, taking scenic walks along the ocean or just playing at the many activities the backyard had to offer, truly gave us all we needed. Can’t wait to go back!

Great weekend getaway

Our group of women thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this lovely property. The house was clean, linens were lush and it was well stocked. Unfortunately, it rained most of the weekend so we did not get a chance to enjoy the backyard games, but the inside was spacious enough to accommodate a rainy afternoon.

Best Rental Home I've Ever Booked!

I have nothing but great things to say about this wonderful home and Gia as a host. I booked the place for a weekend reunion for my friends, and it was perfect. The location on West Cliff Avenue is stunning, with panoramic ocean views from the front porch. The house is also only 10 minutes from Steamer Lane, a world class surfing break and park. The house still felt private due to tinted windows and was well stocked and had a modern, updated kitchen perfect for cooking for a large group. The house also had an amazing, spacious backyard with tons of activities. Ping pong, bocce ball, cornhole, and a hot tub. We also went to the beach and made use of the beach wagon, chairs, and ~20 surfboards available, including at least 3 foam boards perfect for beginners. Needless to say we had no shortage of things to do. The house also had a 3 person sauna in the garage which was great for winding down after a day of fun in the sun. Finally, Gia and her team were super responsive and kind. She guided us seamlessly through check in and check out. She even helped us coordinate pickup of a few things left behind at the place a week after check out. Gia really went the extra mile! I recommend this place without reservation, it is the best rental house I've ever stayed at.

Cliff house

Spring break

We had 2 families of 5. There was plenty of room for all of us. We loved the back yard, the big couches, and the well stocked kitchen. Gia and Amanda were fantastic. Definitely would recommend!
