The nearest, larger supermarket is in Musso (approx. 1 km from the village centre). Pianello has a beautiful lakeside promenade that leads past the marina to Musso. The various smaller, gently sloping beaches along this promenade are rocky and it is therefore advisable to wear bathing shoes. If you are a fan of water sports such as sailing, surfing or water skiing, you will be in your element. There are also several options for hikers. There are many interesting villages and typical villas along the western shore of Lake Como that are well worth a visit. If you want to leave the car at home, the boat is also recommended.
