Casa rural con encanto de 2 dormitorios con magníficas vistas a la montaña desde todas las habitaciones, ubicadas en las montañas Catskills occidentales. Plan de piso abierto que contiene la planta baja sala de estar con televisión vía satélite (incluyendo HBO), comedor, cocina, un baño y medio. The perfect cottage for a recharge. The views from the windows are stunning and it is so peacefully quiet. We enjoyed exploring to area and people were so gracious. Recommend TP’s Cafe. Good home cooked food. The house was spacious and comfortable for our 10 day visit. Just wish we could have taken the view home.

Gorgeous cottage

Host was communicative and thought of everthing we would need, down to an excellent restaurant recommendation. The cottage had a beatiful deck and spectacular view of mountains. We would definitely come back here!

Cozy and comfortable little cottage on a hill

It was very warm, quiet, comfortable and clean. The views from both floors were beautiful with snow covered trees and rolling hills. The host was very responsive with any communications we had. Overall, a very pleasant and relaxing weekend in a beautiful and charming cottage.

Fantastic!

This is the quintessential country cottage. The house has an open floor plan with lots of windows to take in the astounding view of the countryside. Bucolic scenery all around, with quant little villages here and their. So nostalgic of simpler places and times. Bob, the host, was extremely responsive and helpful. It checked every box for us. If you love nature, peace, and tranquility, you would appreciate this property.

A corner of paradise in Catskill

We spent the most beautiful weekend in this place, the pictures dont make justice, it was just perfect. The cottage is provided with all amenities and is so cozy and welcoming. timing was perfect: you could see the beginning of the foliage from every corner of the place, through all the windows. Richard was really mindful in providing us with detailed information to reach the cottage and making himself available for questions and doubts. I want to go again!

Needs a new Couch...very uncomfortable & blinds along the front windows, sun was uncomfortable & cast a very hazy glare on the TV otherwise place was great we would go again if those changes are made. Rich

Beautiful, remote location with expansive views

The cottage is a lovely, new-built structure with a glorious view out one whole side of the building, thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows, and this was one of our favorite parts of the visit. The pantry was stocked with lots of basics, the refrigerator with condiments, and this is something we definitely appreciate having stayed in places without. There are lots of easy-to-follow instructions for everything from using the lock to stacking the woodstove (which we used once), and the rooms upstairs are cozy while the downstairs is a wide-open floor plan. Overall, it is a beautiful place and the owners kept in touch via text throughout our stay. One caveat: Renters should be clear about the slightly unusual wi-fi limitations before booking.

Simply perfect

From the first conversation, check in to check out, Bob was very easy to talk with. He answered all my questions right away and provides the most detailed information guidebook for your arrival which was more than helpful. We rent homes a lot, and I can honestly say this was the FIRST time I did not wash the dishes or clean the house upon our arrival, and we’ve stayed in fairly clean homes before. It was immaculate! Based on other reviews I also didn’t pack up my whole kitchen as I normally do. (I love to cook on vacation) but Bob’s home has everything you will need. Pots, Pans, baking sheets, toaster, Keurig for coffee, etc. you truly do not need to bring anything. There is also everything you need to clean up as far as dish soap, cleaning supplies etc. I say this bc I would normally also bring these items just in case! We ate at Vasta’s for lunch-pizza place which was very good! We come from north Jersey with a pizza place on every corner, and I will say this pizza was very good! We also went to Plattekill mountain for snowboarding (let’s the kids try for the first time) the staff was great with them! We hung out in the lodge, that has a bar and also food if you wanted. Now, to that town of Bovina. Magical. Only way to describe it. The drive from the house to the tow of Bovina is so beautiful. We ate at Brushland Eating House, which in our opinion is an absolute must. Then the next day went back just to pass through Russels General Store. Had an egg sandwich and talked to the locals. Everyone was extremely friendly. You just don’t get that from where we are from (only a few hours away) but time just seems to slow down in Bovina and the Catskills in general. Now to the house. The Views. Don’t think we will ever get over the views right out of the front windows. Woke up and sat right on the couch just staring at the mountains. Cooked dinner with the sun going down, again, staring at the mountains. Sorry for this long review, but I just can’t get over how amazing of a weekend we had!!! Thank You Bob for sharing your mountain home with us. We made the most special memories. Best of all, boys put the iPad and phones away, we played games-which were also provided, cooked together, and explored the towns around us. Thank You!

Spectacular Views, Amazing Hikes, and Wonderful Food

My husband, teenage son, and I had a wonderful time at the cabin over Columbus Day Weekend. The brilliantly colored fall leaves covering the mountainside gave us spectacular views right outside our windows. The cabin was warm, comfortable and inviting. Every room was very clean and well appointed. The kitchen was stocked with all necessities and we enjoyed cooking the fresh items that we picked up at the local farm stands and markets. Bob was very responsive and answered our texts quickly. Bob and Tracey also recommended Brushland Eating House for dinner and it became a highlight of our weekend. We would definielty come back.

Another Fabulous Stay

I very rarely go back to the same place (too much to explore) but this cottage will change your mind. After seeing the beautiful panoramic views in winter, we wanted return to also see it in the fall and were not disappointed. This cottage has everything. It is comfortable, clean, in a beautiful location and has a friendly and communicative property manager. They really have thought of the small things that actually make for an exceptional stay, such as enough hooks on all of the doors to hang wet towels etc.

Great property, great host

The cabin is very nice, clean, and relaxing. The hosts were so helpful, friendly, and had plenty of information about Hobart and the surrounding areas that made it a fun stay. We loved the local coffee shops, British pub, and hiking trails. Thanks for the great experience!

Perfect house to stay for a wedding nearby

Memorial Day 2022

The home/cabin was very rustic, new and well-laid out. It offers peace and solitude, and is close to the Catskills' Scenic Trail. The property offers everything you need for both a relaxing stay (and to stay in touch for work if needed). I would definitely recommend for couples that want to get away.

Spring time in Hobart

This is our 2nd stay at this beautiful home in Hobart. We enjoyed it as much as the first time. I really want to go back in the summer and enjoy the deck and the views. Rob is fantastic. Always on standby for any questions that may arise. Look forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful views

The cabin was wonderful. The views of the mountains from the full wall of windows in the front of the cabin were amazing. Not much to do in the general area in the winter months that we could find. Just plan on relaxing. We did have nice dinner in the town of Hobart. 4x4 or AWD highly recommended. Back mountain roads very muddy and slick.

Perfect cottage in the woods

This property was amazing! The house was tastefully decorated and immaculate! The pictures did not do it justice! The floor to ceiling windows throughout the first floor offered views of gorgeous snow covered mountains. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms clean and modern and overall the house had all the comforts of home. Our host, Bob, was readily available to answer all our questions and saw to it that our stay was perfect. The area was quiet yet quant with great restaurants and wonderful antique bookstores to browse. My husband and I wanted a quiet getaway in a cabin in the woods and that's exactly what we got. I cannot recommend this property enough.
