Great location and reasonably priced. We rented both sides—Dory Cove and Surfsounds—of what is basically a duplex with a shared beachfront deck. Our group was six adults and four kids. We had no issue with finding space for everyone. Though the property is located near the public beach access, it doesn’t pose any issues (even if there are occasional evening ‘stragglers’ using that parking lot). Close access to the store, restaurants, downtown. The owners are responsive to questions, communicate clearly, and provide easy to follow rental instructions.Of the two sides, Dory Cove is better for group dining as it includes a large (almost too large) dining room table. Both sides were well-appointed in terms of beds, linens, kitchen supplies, deck chairs, etc. Surfsounds is better for showering, given that Dory Cove really, really, really needs a shower door to prevent splashing/leaking.Hot tub was fine, with a spigot and hose provided to keep down on the sand when using it. We did, however, have to fill it up when we arrived, as the water line was far below the upper jets (which taxes the motor and can cause issues).The deck and beach steps need attention. There are ‘soft’ spots on both. And the window mechanisms on both sides need to be repaired or replaced, given that opening the windows takes a lot of effort. Both sides also need to have their climate controls repaired, as one was non-responsive and the other kept flashing a ‘low battery’ message.All in all, recommended!
