The deck and hot tub were fantastic! The beds super comfortable! Overall.. house was EXCELLENT! Maybe some new pans to cook with could be in order.. 70th birthday with girlfriends! Could not have been better!

The view is amazing! The layout of the house was excellent. The kitchen is very user friendly and the dining room area is fantastic. It’s important to note that guests will need to climb steps in order to get into the house.

Location was great, lots of stairs inside and out, couldn’t reach ceiling fan controls, WiFi needs update, had to use 5g, couldn’t get captions off main tv.

I do not write long reviews. The Deck overseeing the ocean is worth the trip alone. 4 bedrooms on three floors. Hot tub was used and was good. Kitchen and sitting areas were good. Access to the beach via 108 stairs was nice. I mention the stair count because it is something to be aware of coming back up. Place is an older home and has the 'character' of one as settling is apparent and the stairways are quite narrow. It worked extremely well for the 5 people that were on this trip, but no one had mobility issues. People with mobility issues can stay in the one bedroom on the main floor readily enough, but getting to the other floors may prove to be a challenge. Overall a great place for a small group/family vacation.

The house was perfect for our family. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 kids and the tide pools right outside the house were a huge highlight for the kids. I would definitely stay again and again.

Beautiful ocean front home with large deck and huge windows! The hot tub was fun to soak in while enjoying the view. The house has a lot of stairs (only one queen bed on the main floor), so be aware of that if there are any mobility issues. The downstairs area was cold, but extra blankets were provided, which helped us stay comfortable while sleeping. Overall it was a wonderful stay and you can't beat the view!

House could use a deep clean. One breaker kept blowing. Front door handle broke. One bedroom was only accessible through another bedroom which was not clear in the listing. The views and hot tub were magic. Very well supplied linens and kitchen equipment. Great beach access, would stay again at Shoreline Chateau.

I agree, that deck overlooking the ocean is the biggest and best in town for whale watching and sunsets or moon over the ocean. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with few lights at night which is the perfect showcase for night skies. I'm happy you enjoyed the hot tub . Thank you for staying.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pirate Lookout. Location couldn’t be better. Saw many whale spouts and a few sea lions. The ocean views were magnificent!!! The house was well appointed and clean.
