We had a great time! My biggest complaint was that the rugs in the kitchen were curled up on the edges, so everyone kept tripping on them. If that’s your only complaint, it was a good trip! I highly recommend this location if you’re looking for a spot near to the lake to relax.

Relaxing and conveniently located

Nice space with open great room for socializing and meals. Clean with ample amenities. Right across highway from lake access and nice walking trails. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Wonderful Stay at Sans Souci Terrace

We loved our stay at Sans Souci Terrace! Fabulous west shore location close to the bike path. Plenty of room for two families, well-appointed and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood—a great place to stay for the 4th of July or anytime you want a relaxing Tahoe getaway. Highly recommend!

Great family stay!

Stayed with family and friends for a neighborhood getaway. Can’t wait to come back! We had everything we needed and the hosts were very communicative. There was a small issue with a piece of furniture (previously broken) that we let them know about and they were very gracious.

One of my favorite rentals

I highly recommend this home. I’ve been lucky enough to rent some beautiful vacation homes, and this was one of my favorites. It was very comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. I also really enjoyed the location and beautiful street. The local rental company was great to work with. We will definitely return!

Sans Souci Terrace

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience was great-the house was very clean when we got there. It had ample space (especially love the kitchen/great room) and a great set-up for 2 families. The nearby road noise was a little louder than I would have anticipated, but only noticeable with the windows open. Other than that, great location and would rent again.

Lovely house in beautiful setting

This is a lovely house, exactly as described and pictured in the listing. The lake is a very short walk away with a small public pebble beach. The kitchen is very well stocked and there is plenty of seating for a full house. Two caveats--the street noise is very noticeable, as mentioned in other reviews. With the windows open on a warm night, the bedrooms facing the lake are not amenable to light sleepers. And also for those troubled sleepers, the beds are pretty bad, especially the two single beds with trundles. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay.

We appreciate the review and your feedback. It is true that this house is near Highway 89 and road noise can be heard outside or when the windows are open. I'm sure you can understand that personal preference plays a big roll when it comes to purchasing beds. While they certainly are of good quality, we apologize if they were not to your liking!

Sans Souci Terrance Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed the home. Offered all the space we needed and we loved being close to the lake. All the rooms offered us privacy and the great room was perfect for a large family. I would suggest a few things. Cable cuts out often and restarts - not sure why but the signal must be weak. WIFI should be upstairs, not downstairs. Very weak signal in main part of house. A few more drinking glasses would be nice and perhaps add some cocktail size glasses. We will probably rent this house again. Loved it.

Another Great Vacation at Tahoe

Good July 4th Cabin

The perfect West lake house

Sans Souci Success

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were 9 people and two dogs. All of us slept well and we loved the house. The great room upstairs was a big plus. We cooked meals and still were able to be part of everything that was going on. I would rate this place as 4 out of 5 stars. The reason for a 4 is due to a steep driveway that would be a problem in the winter and the lack of a real fireplace.
