We have rented our home for many many years to families and of course there are accidents which is understandable. However, blatant abuse/disrespect is something no one should have to tolerate or experience. Unfortunately this is what Julian did to our home. We have an impeccable review history and have rented to many families over the years so Julian your review just reflects how dishonest a man you are. Please refer to all of the wonderful reviews we have...unfortunately Julian is not one we would ever want back as a renter and shame on you for not being honest and an honorable man. Per our lease all damages are to be reported prior to your departure which None were and you left us with a mess! In our lease we are quite clear with our departure instructions. We also emailed once we found all the damages and also provided pictures so your comment about lack of communication is false. You smoked cigars (used our glassware as ash trays) and left it on our deck, refer to the pictures we emailed you smoking prohibited anywhere on the property). Someone urinated in the queen bed and left a filthy bed pad (refer to picture emailed to you. Left food and 4th of July Decorations jammed in the sofa, Stained the sofa pillows with red juice or candy, (refer to picture emailed to you) Littered in our yard by not cleaning up their 4th of July decorations, excessive sand on both twin bed mattress pads (refer to picture emailed to you) the cleaning service can only surmise sheets were not used. We have a vacuum cleaner, a broom, a mop and cleaning supplies under the sink....We do not believe you cleaned for 3 hours .prior to departure (if you did which is doubtful we cannot imagine what it must of looked like.). If you needed more cleaning supplies you should have gotten more from Roberts Market that is less than a five minute walk from our home. It is so unfortunate that there are people who rent homes and feel they can abuse them. Shame on you Julian!

Well....There is always a Rotten Egg during Mr. Janet was problematic from the start! We should have declined his request for a reservation as this was a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! He was unresponsive stating he was swamped and couldn't respond to simple guest names and ages for our lease. Our listing specifically states we only allow two cars and also reminded Mr. Janet of this many times prior to his arrival. Mr. Janet emailed me a few hours of his arrival to ask if he can park a third car as his guests didn't bring him their luggage to pack in a timely manner. Upon arrival he stated to me that he didn't know if the parking limitation was a "real issue". Mr. Janet was totally disrespectful to my wife and has a very condescending manner of communicating and seems to have an issue with women in general. In response to his complaints about our lease perhaps not waiting until the 11th hour to review it as we are always happy to clarify any questions and/or discrepancies that may arise. Mr. Janet should reflect on his communication skills and treat everyone with respect that includes women! We have Fantastic Reviews that depict how we treat our guests!
