Nueva en la escena del alquiler y recientemente renovada, Kitty's Bliss es una habitación de cuatro habitaciones, con capacidad para 10 a 12 personas, con 3. 5 baños en casa, una fila del Golfo. Esta casa de dos pisos está construida sobre pilotes. El primer piso tiene tres habitaciones: King Size Master con dos puertas corredizas de vidrio que se abren a una terraza y se construyen al nivel de la piscina. Alquiler de domingo a domingo solamente

El segundo dormitorio es un King Size con una puerta de vidrio corrediza que se abre a una cubierta envolvente y también está al nivel de la piscina. El tercer dormitorio tiene dos literas con una puerta de vidrio corrediza que también se abre a la cubierta. La lavandería separada, junto con un bar y un refrigerador, están en el mismo piso con las habitaciones para mayor comodidad.

El cuarto dormitorio con una cama Queen Size está en el segundo piso con un medio baño y balcón privado. La casa tiene capacidad para 10 personas en camas y dos cunas cómodas para niños por un total de 12.

El segundo piso también tiene una gran sala con una cocina bien equipada de planta abierta, un bar, un comedor y una hermosa área de estar que se abre a un gran balcón con una parrilla de carbón y una mesa de bistró. Hay un televisor de pantalla plana de 50 pulgadas que se puede usar como monitor y un reproductor Blue Ray con APPS populares como Pandora y Netflix. Hay un sistema de Wi-Fi de alta velocidad que funciona en toda la casa y está protegido por contraseña.

Hay cinco puertas de vidrio corredizas que se abren en balcones con vista a la piscina, lo que le da a la Gran Sala un aspecto muy abierto y aireado.

La casa está al final de un callejón sin salida y es privada y tranquila, pero a solo 250 yardas al oeste del Red Bar. Un montón de aparcamiento. Hay dos puntos de acceso a la playa dentro de los 100 metros de la casa.

Summer Trip w/Kids

This place was absolutely perfect! The private beach access is great if you don’t want to be crowded while out there. It’s central to so many activities and perfect spot for traveling over to another beach if desired. Between the pool, games, and beach gear you will not have a dull moment.You do get views of the ocean and sunset from the balconies. There was construction on a few homes around us but we were never bothered. The owners did let us know they are only working during certain hours to avoid disrupting people’s vacations. Overall we agreed we would 1000% stay here again!

Dog friendly

We always love Grayton Beach! This home was perfect for our family! Location was great! We brought our 2 mini Aussies which was even better. Older furniture and not all the bells and whistles of other homes we have stayed at but the sacrifice was ok with us since the dogs could go. We would stay there again.

The many windows enhanced the beach feel and the sounds of the ocean. The outside pool and deck were a huge plus since no one could get in the ocean all week due to dangerous riptides. Kitty's Bliss at Grayton Beach: A wonderful Stay

Excellent location on a cul-de-sac where children do not have to worry about cars yet Red Bar is 250 yards away. House was spotless. We have stayed here before. Owner has really done some excellent upgrades like elevating a pool 11 feet off the ground in order to be at the bedroom level, adding oak stairs inside,new furniture, and drapes. A deck goes all around the house which is a perfect place to relax or for children to play. True that there is construction all around Grayton, but for Kitty's Bliss the work near Kitty's Bliss is now all internal so very little, if any, noise. One row back from the beach with beach access a very short walk. Would recommend to all my friends. Manager most helpful.

Reviewer Comments: Everything was pretty nice and accurate about the house, except for when we arrived there were small ants in the kitchen. It appears the house had been empty because of the low season. We called the manager, they came and sprayed, and then came back a day later and sprayed again. Never saw another ant. I would recommend this house, the pool was a nice, and it's very close to our favorite area of the beach.

House needs attention

I don’t normally complain but this house needs attention. There was a hole in the wall in the master bath, water stains on the window sills and walls and many other odd things. The cleaning people didn’t put any soap in 2 of the bathrooms and we found a really dirty pair of underwear in the master bath. We love the area and if the house had some work, it would be great! The kitchen did have lots of dishes and cook wear- that was great.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all, the house was fairly nice and we appreciated that....but we did have some disappointments. We arrived to find a portable toilet in front of the house and then discovered an unbelievable amount of construction all around us. The construction began between 6:30-7:00 each morning and with construction workers all around us as we swam in the pool. Needless to say, it certainly did not feel "blissful".

Another Week in Paradise

The only surprise we had was the walk to the beach. I should have inquired about it before I rented, but I had assumed that we had a close “cut- through” path to the gulf. However, it was a walk back to the road, around a bend, and then a substantial walk through a sandy path. In all it only took10-15 minutes, but pulling the cart through the sand was a bit of a workout. Also, one of the couples with us are older, and had difficulty walking in the sand that far. Everything else, including dealing with the rental agency was great.

Reviewer Comments: Kitty's Bliss is one house back from the beach - BUT - you have a long walk around those homes to actually get to the beach so don't be fooled. The house was dirty - not sure how many weeks had passed since it had been cleaned but there were blood drops on the walls and floors and dog hair everywhere - we had no dogs. Needs a lot of renovations - and whoever I worked with told me the pool was heated - it was not.

Needs some attention

This house has so much potential, however we were disappointed with the overall upkeep of the house. On top of many essential appliances not working for many days of our vacation (no hot water, ice maker, dish washer) note......in addition, the air conditioner struggled to cool during the heat of the day, the sliding doors are very hard to open do not shut securely leaving a measurable gap letting cold air out and bugs in, and house seems to have an obvious sway that was a little concerning. Loved having the pool to cool off in but it would be even better with a little shade if umbrellas were provided. House also needs some outdoor lighting of some kind, solar landscape lights would be nice. In my opinion price of house should move way south with current upkeep needs

June Family Vacation

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was a bit older than we expected based on the advertisement. However, it met our needs. Perhaps one of the biggest problems was the amount of cheap (flexible plastic) and broken outdoor furniture. An example would be there were 3 loungers, one was broken and unusable and the other two had visible rust. Everything in the home was serviceable and the location was fine. There is no direct access to the beach, but there are two access points a few minutes walk from the home. The only major problem we incurred was the air conditioning unit going out the on our first full day (we arrived on Sunday and the a/c went out on Monday). It was repaired that night, so was just a minor inconvenience for the day. The place was also pretty dirty, like nasty shower curtains, dead bugs, and general uncleanliness. Overall, we liked the area and the home met our needs for a place to hang out. Bottom line, however, we would not rent this place again for the money unless we know upgrades had been made.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The area was great. You can hear the waves and have a small view of the beach. Walk to beach wasn’t too bad. House was dirty- dog hair on furniture and floor. Shower curtain in master bedroom was moldy. Sand/dirt all under couches and beds. Couches and couch pillows were stained. Shower in master bath had 2 shower heads one stopped working- then water didn’t get hot. They came next day to repair and it worked after that. Door lock on pool fence was not operable- next day they fixed that as well but had to spend afternoon and morning without gate locking. Master bedroom door was hard to open and turn knob- then one night from all the tugging the door stopped closing all together. So in a house full of people door wouldn’t shut. Reported issue that was not addressed. I have stayed in older places that were much cleaner and not in so much need of repairs that have just been overlooked. A little investment would really improve the house stay for future guests. Not many games or beach toys available for use. Closet space was great.

Great house with nice gulf views

Our family really enjoyed this home. It was nice and close enough to the beach that we could see and hear waves. The home had a great layout for gathering all together between the kitchen and living areas. The kitchen was also incredibly well-stocked, most likely the best kitchen we stayed in in our last 12 years here. Plenty of crab tools, stock pots, silverware and dishes of every kind. The house was pretty clean upon arrival the first day, but the living room furniture and cushions could use a good cleaning or update. The beds in the 3 main bedrooms were extremely comfortable, but the 4 twin mattresses were not. I'd suggest purchasing better mattresses or mattress toppers for comfort. My kids range in age from 11-16 and they all had sore backs and complained of pain upon waking up each morning. My 11 y.o. son moved to the couch and our 16 y.o. slept with us some nights so not ideal. We did like that the bunk room had its own bathroom and shower. That was perfect with the kids. The upstairs bedroom does not have a shower, so we used one of the master bedroom showers on the lower floor and it was fine. We would stay in this home again, however we wish the walk to the beach was a little shorter/easier. While it looks close, you cannot walk directly to the beach. It's a short walk to the beach access, but then it's through sand dunes to the beach which was a problem for our older guests with knee problems. Still, a lovely home with great views and plenty of space. Another favorite was the pool. Best pool so far! It stayed cool all week even after high temps and rain. It was also a good size. We spent most afternoons until early evening enjoying the pool and deck area. It was nice seeing the ocean from here, and we would recommend this home wholeheartedly. Thanks for a great week!

Reviewer Comments: We have been staying in the Destin/30A area for 30 years at various properties and none have been this disappointing.The home was chosen after careful consideration and multiple phone calls to the agents to verify the view as pictured on the website, as well as to question the construction in the area as noted in another review of the property online. Had the agent been forthcoming with the fact that a home was fairly recent built directly in front of the only view of the gulf from Kitty’s Bliss another house would have been rented. We feel like we had been lied to & purposely mislead. Instead of the gulf view promised on the website we had a view of a dumpster&port-o-lets from the deck & pool. Upon arrival the home was not only cleaned unsatisfactorily-the bathroom was downright disgusting. Also, there were dead insects lining the window sills, and hairs found in the linens (sheets & towels). We were told that the construction surrounding the home was almost complete & was only inside finishing work. Instead we were woken by construction crew & beeping construction equipment every morning of our vacation at 7:30AM. The 2nd day the cooktop didn’t work. We spent 1⁄2 day waiting on a repair man instead of enjoying the beach only to be told the issue could not be fixed. We spent 4 days attempting to cook on a cooktop with one working burner unable to regulate the heat. It took 3 days to install another cooktop. This was unacceptable. The first full day at the property the temperatures exceeded 85 degrees in the house. There is only one unit for this multi-story home & it stopped working. Again we had the inconvenience of waiting on and dealing with a repair man.This home should not be rented as a “gulf view home, second row from the beach” and charge as such when there are no beach views and you must walk north a block to access the beach. We had to rent a golf cart to get everything to beach each day as the walk was far too long for seniors and toddlers.

Utter Disappointment

Although you tried to respond timely to the home’s issues it is important to relay the concerns & issues we had with this home in an effort to eliminate the potential for another family to endure the same frustration & disappointment.We have been staying in the Destin/30A area for 30 years & none have been this disappointing. The home was chosen after careful consideration and multiple phone calls to the managing agents to verify the view as pictured on the website, as well as to question the construction in the area as noted in another review of the property online. Had the managing agent been forthcoming with the fact that a home was fairly recent built directly in front of the only view of the gulf from Kitty’s Bliss another house would have been rented. We feel like we had been lied to & mislead. Upon arrival the home was not only cleaned unsatisfactorily but the bathroom condition was downright disgusting. There was a thick layer of dust on most of the furniture, there were dead insects lining the window sills, & multiple hairs found in the linens. During the same conversations noted above with the managing company we were told that the construction surrounding the home was almost complete and was only inside finishing work. Instead we were woken by construction crew outside of our bedroom windows &beeping construction equipment every morning of our vacation at 7:30AM. Instead of the gulf view promised on the website we had a view of the construction dumpster, port-o-lets and debris from the deck and pool, complete with intrusive roofing contractors stares and loud music. After trying to cook the first meal for my family we realized the cooktop would work. My father spent the next morning waiting on a repair man instead of enjoying his family on the beach. We spent the next 5 days attempting to cook on a cooktop with 1 working burner unable to regulate the heat. It took 3 days to arrive and another to install. The 1st full day at the property the temp exceeded 85 degrees inside. The AC had stopped working. There is only 1 unit for this multi-story home. Again we had the inconvenience of waiting on and dealing with a repair man. This home should not be rented as a “gulf view home, 2nd row from the beach” & charge as such when there are no beach views & we had to rent a golf cart to get everything to beach each day as the walk was far too long for seniors and toddlers. I would not recommend this home to anyone in its current condition.
