Beds in the bunk room, which was a large closet, were falsely advertised. Host communication was fairly prompt and apologetic, after some arguing our point of conflict. Typical condo stay, not “luxurious”. Dishwasher full of dirty dishes on arrival. Be prepared to place sheets on all 4 beds on arrival, remove them on departure, and start the wash. Host did offer compensation when asked, although the amount was laughable.

Unit was very nicely decorated and furnished, just as described. Plenty of space for four adults. Kitchen has all the necessary cooking equipment. Property was clean and safe.

We had a great stay. The place was very clean and the location was perfect! If you have a lot of people or kids, I would recommend brining extra toilet paper and dishwasher detergent as we only had 1 pod and 2 rolls!

My granddaughter and I really enjoyed our time here! We loved the ocean view, the location, and the comfort and cleanliness of this property. Very easy check-in and excellent communication with the owner. I would definitely love to stay here again!

4th of July Vacation

Great first floor condo in a great location. Exactly as advertised and condo was bigger than anticipated. Close to beach access and beach was not crowded during the 4th of July week like other beaches we have been to before. Condo provides ample space, cooking utensils, water pressure and comfort. We would stay again.

Beautiful Condo on the Beach

We had wonderful stay at the beach. Lovely, clean condo, well stocked with all the conforts of home. All the beds were very confortable. Great pool and easy access to the beach. We would gladly stay here again!

Well done

As advertised. Only issue was being on first floor but we knew that going in. Convenient to whole island IMO. Great beach. Wonderful dark night sky to the south, great for stargazing.

Excellent stay

This was our second year visiting this property. It’s exactly as advertised. Feels like home, having everything you could possibly need for your stay. Very clean, plenty of towels/linens. Beds are comfortable. 4 adults and 3 kids fit comfortably without feeling cramped. The complex is well maintained and a great location.

Family Beach Vacation

Nice property in a quiet area of the island. Close enough to shopping and restaurants but beach area was very nice and away from the crowds. Owner is very thoughtful and communicative. Highly recommend!!

Can’t Say Enough About This Place!

We visited Memorial Day wknd with our family to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. What a great stay we had at this beautiful, well stocked, wonderfully located condo!! I read the reviews and the place did not disappoint! The decor, views and amenities exceeded our expectation! The kitchen is super modern and the family area with the nestled bedroom was super cute!! We were very close to the beach and heated outdoor pool, that my family was able to enjoy. There are steps down to access the beach, but the view from the landing is breathtaking!! Downside was that we had kids right above us who could easily be heard running back and forth at ALL times, the master shower had a little mold visible on the outside shower ledge, and the dryer did not dry very efficiently. It also rained the majority of the wknd, but we didn’t mind at all. The puzzles and neat train stocked at the condo kept my 2 yr old grandson entertained! Takeaway is this condo is a place worth visiting and definitely a home away from home I’d enjoy visit again!!

Beautiful Condo ~ the perfect stay!☀️

I can’t say enough good things about this condo! Donna is an amazing host. We had everything we needed and much more! She has thought of so many things to make your stay comfortable, from soap to lots of towels & extra blankets to a coffee pot AND Keurig plus all the kitchen utensils, gadgets, and pans you’d need. Not everyone goes to these lengths so it’s greatly appreciated. The air purifier was a wonderful touch as well! We loved the beautiful decorations, how clean the condo was and especially the Bible verse artwork throughout. We will definitely be back! Thanks again, Donna!

Great Location and Property

This was our first time staying in the Emerald Isle. The beaches were clean, the water is beautiful and clear, and the beach was quiet. We will definitely come back to this location. The condo was great! The living room was even nicer than the photos. The couches reclined and there was a rocking recliner. Everything was in great condition. Previous reviews mentioned liners weren't included, but they are now. The beds were comfortable, and I couldn't think of anything the condo didn't have. I appreciated the welcome basket of aloe, toilet paper, extra paper towels, etc. We've stayed at places that didn't have any paper products so knowing the condo already had these supplied and there were extras waiting was a pleasant surprise. The beach and pool access were very close to the condo. Although there is an elevator to the condo, there are around 40 steps from the top of the beach access to the beach. This wasn't an issue for us, but may be important if anyone has stair limitations. Other reviews mentioned how sound carried from other condos. This was our experience too. We didn't hear the people beside us, but there was as family of 6 above us with younger children. Luckily, they kept the same sleep schedule as us, so it wasn't really an issue. In fairness, we've yet to stay at a condo with people above us that we didn't hear them. Overall, we had a great stay, loved the location, and Debbie was fantastic! Whenever we had a question, she replied quickly.

nice condo and accommodating owner

This is a nice condo with comfortable furniture and plenty of space. The owner was very accommodating and responsive to questions and allowed us to use some of her personal belongings which were not included in the condo. this allowed us to have enough car space to fit our entire group and not have to bring two cars since the gas cost is so high. our beach week was very windy so we were not able to enjoy the beach as the sand was blowing in your face and the waves were too rough. if you have any physical limitations and you want to enjoy the beach, this is not the location for you. there is a long boardwalk leading to the beach followed by 37 steep steps to reach the sand. because of this, we were not able to use our beach wagon which made bringing things to the beach difficult. It doesn't appear that regular maintenance is performed on this condo or the complex property as the exterior terrace door was covered with mildew, the vacuums were jammed with dust and dirt, the HVAC filter was also caked with dust/dirt, and the dryer had to be run through two cycles on high to dry each load of clothes. We cleaned the lint filter each time, but the vent hose must be in need of cleaning. We cleaned the vacuums and replaced the HVAC filter. The pool was not very clean, either. there was scum and trash floating in the corners and the tiles around the edge were caked with scum and grime. the pool deck is very hot on bare feet also. The basket of starter items was very nice and provided pretty much all of the supplies that we needed during our stay--toilet paper, paper towel, dishwasher tabs, etc.

Excellent condo

This condo was perfect for our family. It had absolutely everything we could need and felt like being at home. Property description was accurate, owner answered all of my questions prior to booking which was extremely helpful. The complex is quiet, pools are nice. The beach wasn’t overcrowded and we had plenty of space. Would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful oceanfront stay

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable, the beach was beautiful, and the complex had a wonderful pool area. The linens are provided for you to make the beds, the bath towels are fluffy and plentiful, and having a washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient for our group of six. There was pretty much anything you would need in the kitchen, and there was a welcome basket to get you started with supplies. The owners were responsive and helpful. Spend some time on the oceanfront porch, listening to the waves and enjoying the breeze.

Overpriced

We stayed here for a friend's wedding and the venue was just across the road. It was a convenient location. The place was clean and check in process was straight forward. However, no household supplies were provided (linen, toiletries, cleaning supplies, enough tissue paper). There was a coffee machine with K-cup option but there were no pods. It does not make sense. If someone is coming for vacation, they should bring all these things with them? Are we coming for a getaway or establishing a home for ourselves? We ran out of tissue paper and when we contacted, the response was dollar general is the nearest place to get tissue paper. To add to this, the roof light cover in kitchen fall out of blue and broke into pieces when I was hanging out in kitchen. Thankfully, nothing happened but I was a few feet away! I would have expected a better service if I am being charged very high.

Wonderful location. Description was spot on. Owner was very nice and very responsive. Our vacation was everything we hoped it would be. If we visit Emerald Isle again, this rental would be our first choice.
