Vive como un local en un hermoso y encantador estudio recientemente remodelado. A solo 3 minutos a pie de la arena en la hermosa playa familiar Wind n Sea. Privado pero cerca de todos los servicios.

1 dormitorio (separado de la sala de estar), 1 baño y una cocina completa. Habitación para 1-2 adultos para dormir cómodamente. Cama de matrimonio con colchón de espuma viscoelástica en el dormitorio. El estudio también tiene un cómodo sofá cama de tamaño completo en la sala de estar. ¡El estudio es acogedor pero se siente muy espacioso! German Sheperd lives above this unit and eats dog bones that is extremely loud. The owners charged me an additional 120 for 2nd cleaning that I just found out that I was not obliged to pay per VRBO! The unit's location was truly 1 block from the beach. But there is construction right across the street that is not conducive to serenity. The parking is not always available. For the price, I would not recommend this place!

We are very upfront about requiring mid stay cleanings every 10 days for longer stays, and we even pay for one mid stay cleaning per month ourselves. Not sure why this guest acted surprised after checking out as she was fully informed of our policy upon booking. La Jolla is an urban beach community and there is sometimes construction in the area, but only during strict daytime hours. There is ample street parking with no permit restrictions and easy to find a spot in front or within 1/2 block of the studio.

The wind and sea area is lovely. This place is a block from the beach with surfing nearby. The place is smaller than it looks on line but totally serviceable. We really appreciated the Landry and all the restaurants and the walk ability of La Jolla.

Being our 1st time doing STR I was very pleased with everything. Easy entry instructions .. Parking was pretty good (construction going on) . Easy access to the beach. Loved my early & late walks along the beach with my dog. (oh yeah, Pet Friendly too) .. the only thing missing was (maybe) a hook in the bedroom. Kinda tight in there.Definitely looking forward to another visit.

Nice clean property close to several good restaurants, nice neighborhood to walk around, close to beach where many neighbors gather at sunset, would definitely return, agree that La Jolla is definitely a jewel!

La Jolla is beautiful. Sea Lions and the cove were a delight. Location on Gravilla is close to the waves and a nice walk to endless entertainment options.

Great private place with easy beach walk.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay. Easy walk to the beach and to many eating options. Short drive to the La Jolla Village and many eating and shopping options. The nearby beach is dramatic and beautiful. This cottage had everything we needed.

Nice place

We enjoyed our visit to beachcomber hideaway. Convenient location with parking on the street. The unit is clean and well maintained. The beach is a short walk but we found having a car is best for all the sights and activities that are in the area.

Sweet spot

We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach multiple times each day, and having stores and restaurants close was a plus. Comfortable, well equipped and clean. I would recommend this property.

Wonderful location

This property is located in a beautiful neighborhood 1 block from the fabulous Windansea Beach. The apartment made very good use of the square footage and was roomy enough for our needs. The back patio added to the feeling of space. Nice remodel, comfortable bed. 2 of us stayed there 2 weeks and would stay there again. The only negative aspect is entering the building you walk through the trash can alley to get to the door. But we always felt safe and enjoyed coming ‘home’ to the cozy apartment.

Amazing location

The location is great and the apartment is perfect for 1-2 people. The only thing I would improve is that some items like the laundry basket or kitchen utensils should be replaced. It is well equipped with cookware and silverware.

A Whisper Away From the Beach

The location makes this place worth it, no question. It's just up the hill from Windansea Beach, so you can dart down to stroll, scramble over the rocks, set out your towel or watch pelicans. It is small (*really* small on rainy days!) and the kitchen fixings are very basic. The neighborhood has largely kept its charm, but there is lots of new construction (which, alas, could be loud.) Really glad we chose this overall.

We're so glad you loved the location of the studio! The kitchen has all the "fixing's" including multiple small appliances so that you can cook up a chef's feast, dishes, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, etc. etc. The size of the studio is larger than a standard hotel room, but it has a separate bedroom.

Review of Beachcomber

The location was great! It was near the shoreline and quiet. The private patio was nice. Very clean, but small, with mirrored walls in every room, which made it appear larger online. It was quite stark in terms of supplies. It would have been nice to have coffee filters, coffee, creamer, and sugar/sweetener. Additionally, there was a lack of bar soap and shampoo in the bathroom. We were required to resupply the toilet paper, trash bags, and wash the beach towels. We also had to rearrange the furnishings to fit the essential floor fan into the cramped bedroom. A pool was mentioned online, but there was none.

There is a very nice public pool (Coggan Aquatic Center) walking distance from the studio, but we don't claim to have one onsite. For a week stay, plenty of toilet paper is provided, as well as handsoap, dishsoap, initial trash bags and laundry detergent, which we state in the listing.

Small but ok for a week! Entrance not very nice as you go past several garbage cans. Some things that should be addressed are as follows. Both chairs on the patio have broken seats! Beach chairs are rusty and very dirty. Front of the sink in the kitchen is peeling and needs repair. It could be a nice spot as the location is great. Just needs some attention to detail.

Our property size is described and while small, is laid out very cleverly so that you have everything (and feels larger than it is) you need, as well as a separate bedroom and a nicely sized private patio, all 1.25 blocks from beautiful Wind n Sea beach.

We knew the place would be small but were shocked by how small it was.

There are mirrors everywhere to make the place look more spacious. They need to add one or two reading lights in the living room area. A few things were missing or broken and the owner was quick to respond and fix. We had tenants above who were very noisy early in the morning. The location is phenomenal, a very short walk to the beach. Parking on the street is easy.

I am glad that you thought the location was great and the off-street parking very easy to find. The size of the studio is described very clearly. Mirrors do make the space seem more spacious. We have had many, many guests (and repeat guests!) stay quite happily in the space (there is a 250 square foot private outdoor patio as well as the interior space). The studio is very cozy, charming and functional for up to two guests. The evening you arrived you let me know that the dimmer button in the bedroom had a crack in it (still functional and safe), as well as one of the two desk chairs had some damage. The next morning both of the chairs were replaced with brand new ones, and I put a new dimmer button on. Things do happen in everyone's home, but I pride myself on being highly responsive to any issues so that my guests can have the best stay possible!
