Featherstone Cottage es una opción natural para parejas (y viajeros en solitario) que buscan una escapada única en Hendersonville, Carolina del Norte. Cuenta con muchas comodidades con una personalidad única y ecléctica que demuestra una gran atención al detalle. Desde practicar en nuestro putting green personalizado hasta un juego amistoso de herraduras hasta la chimenea al aire libre, somos el sueño de los amantes del aire libre. Charming cottage

We absolutely loved your charming cottage. It had so many wonderful touches and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was perfectly located near DuPont State Forest and Hendersonville. Chad was a fantastic host and very quick to respond to any questions we had. We can't wait to visit again!

A quaint relaxation for couples

My wife and I stayed for four days last week. Chad, the owner, was very pleasant and helpful during our stay. The hot tub and outdoor fireplace saw plenty of use from us during our trip. The cottage had just enough amenities that we didn't want for anything.

Perfect getaway

Beautiful scenery. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was wonderful - we used it every night. Chad was friendly and helpful. Such a great place to stay! I can't recommend it enough :)

Perfect hideaway in Hendersonville

This is the second time we've stayed at Featherstone but it won't be our last. Every exquisite detail of this charming cottage is perfection including the consummate host, Chad. I wish I could do a 5+ rating for Featherstone.

Tammi It was a great pleasure having you two over Labor Day Weekend. Being restaurant owners I am glad you were able to hide out here for a few days and decompress. Another relaxing visit at Featherstone

Went back for our second stay at Featherstone and now looking forward to when we can make our third visit. The online pictures and description are a perfect reflection of our stays. Chad is the perfect host with all the suggestions and information for exploring the Asheville, Hendersonville and western NC mountain area. Cottage equipped with everything anyone could need.....plus lovely outside garden spots to just relax after a day of enjoying WNC.

Unique and perfect!

The is the ideal place to stay in the Asheville area. Close to everything with the plus of feeling like you aren't. Everything you could need has already been thought of by Chad. He is a great host. Perfect vacation spot! If you think it looks awesome on the website pictures wait until you see it in person. You won't be disappointed.

Perfection

It is rare that a rental exceeds expectations, and this one most definitely did. The cottage was perfect for my needs- small but so well-appointed. The fact that Chad welcomes pets made my stay even more enjoyable. The property was quiet and peaceful; I can only imagine how beautiful it will be later in the spring when the flowers have bloomed. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

Absolutely superb...chad is the best!

First time using VRBO and Chad's Featherstone was wonderful. He meet use as we drove up, helped us get settled, recommended hiking trails, restaurants, and places to golf...took all his suggestions and it was great. Accommodations were very, very nice...all you needed and could ask for from a nice little kitchen to a hot tub to a cozy bedroom. Diffently on a our places to return to...thanks Chad for a great four days of relaxation! Mike and Marianne

Absolutely Perfect....Wonderful Cottage....Super!

The only thing I would have enjoyed more was a longer stay! This cottage is absolutely perfect for a mini vacation and Chad has thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable. The screen porch was my favorite place after a day of shopping and visiting nearby towns. And it was nice napping in the hammock and watching the squirrels trying to get into the bird feeders. I will definitely be back again. You will not be disappointed....the cottage is exactly what you see online.

Second stay--as great as the first!!

We were back in Hendersonville for the last weekend of leaf looking (and to stock up on our favorite apples!) and were so pleased that Featherstone was available. We stayed here in May and enjoyed it so much that we shifted our travel time by a day so we could stay here this trip. This is such a great location--perfect for trips in the surrounding area--the Parkway, apples, and perfect for a visit to the awesome Tryon Equestrian Center. We were not disappointed--as before the guesthouse was immaculate, comfortable and just waiting for us to take a deep breath and relax, even though just for a couple of days. We can't wait to come back in the Spring and enjoy Chad's great hospitality.

Cozy couple getaway with style

My husband and I stayed at Featherstone last weekend and we loved it! Chad has put such thought and care into making his little place stylish, interesting, and unique. It was perfectly sized for two people - we loved having the little kitchen and spent most of our time on the screened in porch enjoying the view. Chad and Cooper were great hosts, helping us get settled then leaving us to our weekend of relaxing and touring. Chad recommended we check out Sierra Nevada's new brewery, and that was the best meal of the trip! I can't say enough good things about picking Featherstone, it was just awesome!

Beautifully peaceful

When I first arrived at the cottage, I wasn't sure if I would like it because I am use to renting cottages that are very isolated. However, the way that Chad has designed the cottage is very private and beautifully done. The birds were definitely my favorite part of the stay since you can watch them and listen to them all day! The hot tub was wonderful and my husband and I enjoyed lounging in the hammock together. I would absolutely recommend this little getaway for anyone. Very comfortable, private and well done!

Lovely retreat for 2

Featherstone is a true haven. After a delayed plane trip and short drive from SC, my boyfriend and I were happy to meet Chad and Cooper, and then get started on our relaxing, long-weekend vacation. Chad has thought of everything-- the cottage's setting, decor, and the attention to detail is phenomenal. So peaceful, amid blooming azaleas and lush woodlands. Asheville is a quick drive, and Hendersonville is as charming as a small town comes (especially the bakery and wine shop!). We hiked, zip-lined, and dined, but were so happy to come back to the cottage at the end of the lane to soak in the hot tub each evening. Absolutely heavenly.

The Perfect Retreat!!

My husband and I just returned from a 2 night visit at Featherstone Cottage. The pictures and description do not do it justice. It was perfect. Every detail that you can imagine, Chad your host, had thought of. The cottage was so comfy, and the screen porch was the perfect spot for reading or watching the chipmunks play. Amazing gem of a cottage with an amazing host.

What an incredible experience! This little cottage is the perfect get-away close to Hendersonville. From the moment you enter the garden, through the screened-in porch and into the cabin interior, the feeling is comforting and welcoming. We loved the decor, the amenities and the little touches such as a bird feeder placed perfectly so you can watch the birds from the chair on the porch. Once we met the owner Chad we understood it all. He is the consummate host. We enjoyed his company so much we even had dinner together out in the garden patio. We're already looking forward to a return visit.

Such a great find!

My wife and I typically chose a local H'ville motel for our weekend exploring/riding/hiking the area. By chance I found Featherstone online and thought we'd give it a try. The cottage is super clean and equipped with everything you need. The location made for a great jumping off point for our exploring day trips in town and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The owner(Chad and Cooper the Dog) greeted us on our arrival, he was very attentive to our needs and made sure we were comfortable. The attention to detail inside and out is amazing. We would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends, our only regret was not being able to stay longer.

Hidden, cozy and comfy

Tom and I really loved Featherstone for our NC vacation. Loved the location; easy access to many sites, activities and restaurants around Hendersonville and Asheville. The cabin was cozy, comfortable and had all the amenities one would need for a delightful stay. (The photos show it all). Chad even "loaned" us some wine the night we got there and found the TV channel as we were cheering our KC Royals to victory. The hot tub was a particularly nice touch (super clean, private, under the stars) after days of hiking the gorgeous parks and small towns in the area. Thanks Chad for your charming place and super gracious hosting. Hope to visit again! A special shout out to Cooper who is the "greeter" and a very sweet dog.

Perfect getaway

We've stayed at VRBO properties on several occasions. This is the first 5 star we've given - and it's well deserved. The cottage is perfectly located - close to Hendersonville but still secluded enough for that "getaway" feeling. The cottage is a great mix of charming and eclectic - inside and out. The screened porch is inviting and relaxing. The interior of the cottage is warm and inviting and beautifully decorated. From the furnishings to the Keurig to the bathrobes, Chad has done an amazing job of making sure that everything you could need has been provided. We loved our stay and are looking for our next visit in the near future. Chad - thanks for being such a wonderful host. Jack and Charlotte

Got to admit, you guys where the most prepared/stocked/ready for anything guest we have ever had. Very impressive indeed, right done to your fireplace matches! So I wasn't surprised at all when you pulled out the S"Mors goodies and you even shared them with Cooper and I! It guest like you two that make having guest so much fun. This cottage is tucked away like a retreat, but within easy reach of Hendersonville for necessary groceries and also for browsing Main Street's shops. We really enjoyed the beautiful grounds with hammock, horseshoes, fireplace area, and putting green. The interior is charming, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped. Kitchen is tiny but has all the basics. (If you're looking to prepare a feast for a crowd, check out Chad's other properties.) I enjoyed sitting on the porch and getting some work done all by myself, with goldfinch, chipmunks, and humming birds for company. When friends and family came by, we had a great time playing horseshoes, swinging on the bench swing, sitting by the fire, and playing with Izzy the dog. Thanks, Chad, for hosting us!
