Literally perfect! Super clean, easy check in/out and great communication from the owner. Very close to town but just far enough to feel remote. More than enough space for my family of 4. Can’t wait to be back!

Wonderful 2 weeks in great location

Loved the quiet surroundings and watching the birds. Checkin was very easy and the lodge was very cozy and clean. Beds were comfortable. Loved the visits from Izzy, the resident lab. Chad was very helpful also. Great location and only about 10 minutes into town. We had a very relaxing stay and would highly recommend

Just an awesome, peaceful, beautiful place

This is a great place with a great and thoughtful host. We love it, the birds sing all day, particularly special during morning coffee on the porch.

Another wonderful stay at Featherstone

Very comfortable stay at the Featherstone for both work and play. Great location to quickly get into downtown Hendersonville, Flat Rock, Brevard, and their surrounding areas. Our miniature poodle appreciated walking around the property and the nearby neighborhoods. Kudos to Chad and Izzy for being such great hosts!

Wonderful stay

This home is a wonderful place to recharge and rest. The location is so peaceful and private. The owner and his dog Izzy are very friendly and accommodating. The home feels secluded but it’s close to town and many attractions. We would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Quaint, Cozy, and Extremely Comfortable

We stayed in The Lodge at Featherstone for an extended week. Not only was the cottage itself cozy and comfortable, but Chad was as gracious a host as we've ever had. It sits in a beautiful green and quiet area of the property, giving us plenty of privacy. The kitchen was amply supplied with dishes, utensils, and pans. The cleanliness of the cabin was extraordinary!

The Sweetest

We loved our rainy weekend away in this home that is full of the most thoughtful rental home touches. Close to everything and in a secret little slice of town. Great yard, screened porch, well-appointed everything, just such a sweet spot!

Thanksgiving Delight!

We had a delightful time staying the week of Thanksgiving. To say the kitchen is well stocked is an understatement. We had everything we need to host Thanksgiving dinner. The beds were very comfortable and there was a collection of blankets for our dog to use so he could get on the furniture. The location if very convient to downtown Hendersonville. We will definitely return.

Amazing Hidden Gem

Home Away from Home

This was the 1st time we have been away from our home in Florida for this length of time and honestly, we were so comfortable in our "new" surroundings that we really didn't even think about missing anything back home at all - especially the excruciating summer heat! Chad was a great host and having him on site was such a plus for "first-timers" like us! Our Goldendoodle, Gracie, had the best time of all - chasing squirrels everyday in the huge front yard that is fenced in on 3 sides!! The location couldn't have been more perfect to venture out and drive to nearby destination day trips and activities. It truly was a wonderfully peaceful respite from our daily lives which we sorely needed! Hendersonville, or as the locals say, "Hendo", is a charming town with great restaurant options and lovely shops...we truly had a magical stay!!

Another relaxing stay at the Lodge @ Featherstone!

We are a return visitor to Featherstone as we find it a perfect location for exploring the surrounding areas for a few days while picking up or dropping off our kids at summer camp. Downtown Hendersonville, good restaurants, grocery stores, parks, etc. are very accessible from this location. We enjoy bringing our dog along as the communities are very dog-friendly and there are so many hikes (including lots of waterfalls!) to explore. As for the Lodge itself, it had everything we needed to ensure we, our kids, and our poodle were comfortable during our stay. This included solid internet connectivity for 2 people to work remotely without any issues. Thanks to Chad for taking such great care for this property so others can have a relaxing and enjoyable time in the Hendersonville area.

Perfect property just off the beaten path

This was just the right property for our 3 person family plus our dog. This was the first time we ever took the dog on a trip and the owners are very clear about basic guidelines which are more than fair. We met the owner who was doing his grass mowing routine on the beautiful property. We had an excellent time and the owners really really want you to have a great stay as they outline food and tourist suggestions for you. Every single nook and cranny of the house was well thought out with charming decorative aspects of the owners and the surrounding area. We just felt more than obliged to treat this house like our own and leave it clean and ready for the next lucky tenants. We are fairly confident in saying we will be coming back for another stay again.

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! Everything about this home is thoughtfully designed, and it was perfect for our young family (we have a 3 year old and an infant). Super easy commute to downtown. We’d love to return!

Excellent stay

Exceptionally clean and well run. Lovely setting, quite cozy and comfortable. So close to downtown Hendersonville and all amenities. The owner is on site and v hospitable. Will look to book again.

Amazing stay!

Chad was an amazing host. The house was very clean and fully stocked with all the kitchen utensils. He was very friendly and a pleasure to talk to whenever he was outside. My family felt very safe and his recommendations were spot on. We will definitely be booking at Featherstone again!

Cozy Lodge

The home was very comfortable. It had a lot of character to it, was very clean, and had all the accommodations we needed. The huge yard and the fire pit were two of our favorite parts. My kids also really liked the tree swing. The beds were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The fireplace in the living room was extremely cozy and loved by all who stayed. Being close to downtown, hiking trails, and also to grocery stores was a big plus for us. Everybody in our party had the most relaxing and wonderful stay. ☺️

Featherstone Girl Trip

The Lodge was tucked away on a peaceful , very quiet property. The Lodge was immaculately clean and has a very fresh smell. It is beautifully decorated and absolutely charming. The beds were very comfortable with soft linens as well. We had great sleep while we were there! Thank you Chad and Lizzy the Black dog for sharing your place with us. We had a wonderful girl trip!

Favorite Small Town...

... but it is growing too quickly. We found the Featherstone Lodge home to be charming and ultra clean. We enjoyed it's convenient location. The carport was a plus for us. The screen porch though lost its charm from the picture posted. The accommodations are perfect for an extended stay - just be sure to have some laundry soap.

July at Featherstone Lodge

Our stay at Featherstone lodge was wonderful! Everything was just as advertised and more. It is located close to everything we needed from hiking, shopping, dining and just listening to the birds from the porch. Chad was always available whenever we needed him and he went above and beyond on more than one occasion. Izzy, his dog, made several visits to sit on our porch. For us it was perfection. It gave us a much needed escape from the FL heat where we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Hope to stay here again.
