Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was overall pretty good, though there could have been many small improvements that would have made it much better. It was pretty ridiculous to be charged for extra blankets. The air vent was right above the bed in the primary bedroom and was freezing cold. The kitchen was well stocked but could have used a dish sponge (we used a washcloth to wash dishes). The rental is supposed to have an extra full bed, but it didn’t. It wasn’t until the night before we left did they bring a blowup mattress despite us needing it and asking for it for days before hand. Because the property management company is open Mon-Fri, closing at 4 - if you have anything come up Friday late afternoon - no one will attend to it for nearly 3 days. We never were able to fully get the TV to work, even the maintenance guy couldn’t get the smart TV to connect. The patio was lovely - our favorite part of the unit. There are very very old beach chairs that peel paint and an umbrella that barely opens. They should invest in new breach stuff, mostly for safety reasons. The sand toys were nice to have.

Great location and sizze

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location and the size of the condo. We had a couple small issues but they were resolved fairly quickly. There was a bit of a termite issue that the maintenance person was aware of but did not affect our stay in anyway. The suite itself was dirty. We had to clean when we arrived. The patio off the guest room was not useable for our family. The carpeting on the patio was covered in mold but not sure if owners are aware. Not sure how detailed of a clean was done before our arrival. Other than it being dirty, it was a great place. We will definitely return but request that it be cleaned better.

Just ok

Nice location but a bit of a walk to the beach. Very spacious condo. There was no beach gear available (except chairs) for use which was really inconvenient. The other place we stayed had everything necessary for a beach day. The living room furniture had a slight body odor smell and the temperature of the water in the shower was only luke warm.

Kaanapali Near Black Rock Beach

Loved this location! Right on the Golf Course. Short walk to the Beach... I think less than a mile. Kids loved jumping off the rock into the ocean. Great Snorkeling right there also. Eating out is expensive there... and so are the groceries. If you can, I would shop at the Walmart before you get there by the airport. Airport Terminal, Kahului, HI 96732. We arrived so late it was not an option for us. I really loved this condo! very homey and roomy! A great place to stay!

Comfortable Vacation Stay

Our stay here was relaxing. The pictures are accurate. The condo was spacious throughout so we didn't feel cramped at all. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was such a convenience. There was an iron/ironing board and one blow dryer (owners are not required to provide blow dryers so we brought one in case). Fridge and stove were stainless steel and clean. There were some condiments in the unit and we left ours for others to use. King bed in master (between firm and soft) and twins in second bedroom (both firm) were comfortable. They had a starter pack which included items like toilet paper, tissue, paper towels etc. There were only three of us but there was ample supply. If you are able-bodied, it is a short 10-minute walk down to Whalers Village; about 10 minutes to Lahaina and 10-15 minutes to Kapalua by car. It was nice having breakfast on the lanai each morning. We could see and sometimes hear the golfers but never had a "close call" with a golf ball. There was only a sliver of an ocean view from the lanai, but a nice view of the golf course from the lanai. I loved the decor throughout the condo; full of cute and classic Hawaii-vibe items. There is a library of books to read in the unit. Used the pool once. It is a little walk from the unit, but was nice with a jacuzzi. Some cons: the dishwasher didn't work while we were there so we had to do dishes the old-fashioned way--by hand, but we lived! Scott (the maintenance supervisor), came quickly, assessed that the dishwasher was truly broken and that it wasn't me. He was very courteous and professional. They had to order a part and we would be gone by the time it was fixed. The carpet was a little dirty as was the furniture in the small lanai off the second bedroom so no one used that lanai. Some people don't remove their shoes as requested. I thought the $75 parking fee was a little expensive. We were only there 5 nights but maybe you pay because it is gated and you need a code to get in the gate. The unit is also keyless so you have your own code to get in. It would've been a great add for a TV in the second bedroom. Got a good corporate rate on rental car via Chase N. Rainbows I would recommend this unit and would stay here again. I would try a second floor so I can keep lanai doors open at night. But no elevators so keep your luggage light.
