Nuestra casa es una escapada acogedora, tranquila, con una vista pintoresca del pasaje de Saratoga y Mount Baker. Su presión sanguínea pronto caerá mientras se sienta en la cubierta, escucha las olas y las aves marinas, ¡mientras disfruta de la vista del agua! También vemos con frecuencia ciervos en el patio. Nuestro lugar es muy tranquilo con una sensación amaderada del noroeste.

Tiene una ubicación céntrica en Whidbey, proporcionando una base ideal para explorar todas las actividades y atracciones de la isla. Whidbey es una gran isla con mucho que ofrecer. Explore Deception Pass, Fort Casey, compre y cene en las pintorescas ciudades de Coupeville, Langley, visite las galerías, las granjas, los parques y numerosas playas, todo en solo unos minutos. Regresa a tu retiro y relájate en la comodidad de la naturaleza. Si no tiene ganas de subirse al automóvil, la playa a continuación se encuentra a cinco minutos caminando por la carretera. Our stay was wonderful! The house, property and view were perfect. We especially enjoyed the full moon rising and reflecting on the water. I texted back and forth with Robyn, pics of the moon etc., she is delightful. We would recommend this place and we will for sure be back!

The property was comfortable, well-stocked, cute and clean. The view is very nice and the neighborhood is quiet with the exception of a few times during the week when military jets were active.

View is a WOW

The house is very comfortable with a wonderful view of Mt Baker. The appliances were all in working order with a great kitchen. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed our stay. The only negative is that there is a Navy field close by where they practiced take-offs and landings several hours each day. It was hard to tune out the noise.

Anniversary Getaway

We love Whidbey Island and selected it to celebrate our anniversary. The property was perfect. Lots of privacy and fantastic views. We spent lots of time on the deck. Would visit again!

This was our final destination in a 3-leg vacation to the PNW. The owner communication, while short, was prompt and responsive. The house was very clean and this rental had the best linens of any VRBO I've stayed in hands down (and I've stayed in about 20 over the last 5 years). Kitchen equipment was clean and the kitchen itself was large for the size of the house, which is excellent for preparing meals. The patio was lovely and the view made it a great place for dining.The setting was absolutely lovely and quiet/peaceful and the location was extremely convenient. Coupeville was our favorite town on the island. My only very small critique is that there is very small signage out front, so if you are unfamiliar with the area, you have to be very careful to follow host instructions to find the place to a tee. Our GPS had a hard time keying in on the exact location. It could be that the local authorities don't allow large signage, but the address numbers could use better illumination or contrast on the sign. It wasn't impossible, however. Just follow written instructions.This was an excellent place to stay and I would highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

Beautiful view!

Gorgeous tranquil deck. Enjoyed relaxing at the comfortable peoperty. Played cards by the little stove each evening. Secluded but just minutes to town where we had an outstanding meal at the Oystercatcher.

Perfect location for our get away!

This is a beautiful home with great views. It was perfect for our 4 day get away. Fresh air and lots of walks in local parks made for good nights' sleep in a comfortable bed. If you have trouble backing your vehicle, this is not the place for you. There is no turn around at the end of a long driveway. A book of general information about the place (i.e: how do you work both remotes for the TV) and area would have been nice but we managed.

Good - But Pricey

This is a nice house but priced too high for what it is. There is no parking. It is just a single one way path to the house so get familiar with backing down a single path to the house. It is a nice view and a good spot, but not near the water. And while the house is good, it shouldn't be priced at over 200 a night.

The Sounds of Freedom

The house provides a fantastic view of Saratoga Passage and is conveniently located to the local town. However, nothing prepared me for the fighter jet training exercises late into the night. While my husband is ex-military and enjoyed the experience, I was literally rattled by the sound! As for the home, at first glance it appeared well maintained, but it needs a “deep clean” with an upgrade of pots, pans and glass ware.

Outstanding Views

Robyns place was the perfect place for our weekend stay. It was just as listed. Clean and bright. The views were outstanding! We saw 3 Orca from the deck! It was very exciting! Robyn responded to our communications immediately when we lost power. We would definitely stay again for a weekend trip.

Beautiful, tucked-away spot on Whidbey Island

We loved the above-and-beyond touches that this host provided! The bottle of wine chilling in the fridge, the well-stocked kitchen, complete and understandable instructions, helpfullabels throughout the property, well-stocked with extra blankets, and pleants of places to curl up and relax. There was a minor issue with the lock sticking when we first arrived; we have a similar lock at home. The lock gets stuck in the chamber and is hard to fully turn to open the door - it moves part of the way, but the connection has so much friction that it doesn't slide all the way out, and thus stays locked. We tried on and off, many times, for about 25 minutes before we were eventually able to pull and jiggle enough to get the lock to disengage. Again, this could totally be a one-off issue and this happens with our own lock at home at times. The other issue is a minor one and actually provided a bit of humor for the trip. The guest toilet (by the laundry) has a pipe or part that makes a sound around a minute after you flush that sounds like a ghost trying to escape the pipes. After it scared the bejebus out of my mother and daughter, we all found it rather funny and enjoyed the presence of the "pipes ghost" in the guest bath toilet. Lastly, something that is not at all an issue but something to be aware of. At the rear of the property (facing the Saratoga Passage), there's a significant cliff at the end of the property, past the fire ring. There isn't a fence or sign, so just be aware.
