This home is private. Beach access other than from individual homes is far away so most of the time you are the only ones on the beach or sometimes a handful of neighbors will be in front of their own home. You get to experience one of the highest tide variations worldwide. This area of Rocky Point is ranked about 5 or 6 for the highest tide variations in the world. At low tide, you can walk for miles into the once ocean and even get to another area of town. At high tide, you swim stepping off your porch. Check google for high tide in Rocky Point and you will find the best time for swimming for your dates. High tide occurs twice per day. You get plenty of swimming time as you want to get out there a few hours before high tide and you get more time after it starts to leave. If you sit still enough, you can get your own fish pedicures from small fish swimming around you just as the tide is coming in or leaving. I like to take a chair and sit in the water as they nibble. (Bring your own chair to do this, as chairs could rust and I don't provide chairs for this). Also at low tide, you can walk around and feel something hard under your feet. As you dig, you discover there is a clam there. This can provide a good little snack to cook up or just a fun adventure for kids.
