Beach Bluff

We travel to Southern CA every winter to stay for 3 months We love to cycle and have a community we have become a part of over the years. The condo is conveniently located to our rides and was perfect for our needs. It is very well-appointed and felt like home. Eddie and Karen were great hosts and always available. The nightly sunsets at the bluff were a great way to finish off the day!

Loved It

The townhome was a joy. Ocean views from the master bedroom to wake up to the sound of the ocean every morning. Eddie & Karen were fantastic hosts who leave the place with all the comforts of home and more-down to the smallest details like fresh flowers throughout upon arrival. Location is perfect to enjoy Del Mar. Left feeling like I got a great deal.

Great property, excellent views

We stayed here a little over a month and loved it. The two west-facing balconies have a lovely view of the ocean. The house is clean, comfortable, and spacious, and only a half a minute walk to the bluff and the most stunning sunsets you'll ever enjoy. The property is well stocked and there are a number of restaurants and shops within walking distance. We also enjoyed watching surround sound movies on the big screen in the evenings! The neighborhood adheres to mask mandates really well. Eddie and Karen were kind, welcoming, and helpful hosts.

Gorgeous location

This townhouse was very comfortable; the hosts provided everything we needed and more. There were fresh flowers in every room. Eddie and Karen were available whenever we had a question. The cliff overlooking the beach is a one or two minute walk. From there you can watch the sunset or follow the trail all the way down to the beach. We stayed here for a month, while our house was being remodeled. We’ll miss the view and the sound of the ocean at night.

Great place to stay with all of Del Mar at your door. Beaches and town center all walking distance. The home is clean and minimalist, just as we like! The hosts are outstanding, very responsive and we appreciated their support.

We absolutely loved staying here. The property is located in a quiet pocket of Del Mar filled with friendly people. You can easily walk to the “downtown” area or to the bluff to watch the beautiful sunsets. The townhouse was equipped with everything you need and the owners go out of their way to make your stay special.

Amazing stay!!

We loved the property and location - steps to sunsets at the Del Mar Bluffs, walking distance to coffee and restaurants in Del Mar, and the house was stocked with everything you might need. Deck was also a wonderful spot to read a book and have a coffee. Eddie and Karen were also amazing hosts. We miss the spot already!

Our summer stay in DelMar

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Del Mar. The townhouse was extremely clean and easy to care for. We were supplied with wonderful linens and every cooking item imaginable. The large screen T.V. was an added bonus. (the teenage grandchildren really enjoyed watching movies.) The beach, the pool and walks along the cliff overlooking the ocean were special. Top off all that with two really nice owners.... who could ask for more!!!!

Well located and quiet

We stayed in the condo for two months, July and August. The location is superb, two houses away from the ocean bluff, and walking distance to the center of Del Mar. The neighborhood is very quiet and there is easy access to I5. The unit is very clean and the home theater is spectacular. The agent in charge of the property was very responsive. The only drawback to the unit is that if you are planning on cooking a lot, it is not ideal. There is no prep space and there is no dishwasher. We were aware of the dishwasher issue before renting but did not realize how difficult it was to prepare meals with the lack of counter space. If you aren't planning on ccoking a lot of meals, the unit is ideal.

Regarding the kitchen prep space, we have just furnished the home with a 3 foot x 5 foot island providing an additional 15 square feet of counter top space. We ❤️Ed our time at this wonderful condo in Del Mar Woods. It’s perfectly located steps from the ridge and a walk or run either way to Torrey Pines or down to Del Mar town. The 2 bedroom unit is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. There’s a wonderful ocean view from the upper deck but a great view from the lower one as well. The lower deck has great benches and cushions which turned out to be a great hang out for the afternoon sun. The owner and property manager were exceptional to work with. In addition there was a great sound system, big screen and tv’s upstairs and down. We will come again and really loved our time at Del Mar Woods ...Thank you!!!

Simply Great!

We just finished a three week stay and couldn't have been happier with the townhouse which is in great shape and has a lovely water view from the master bedroom. The location is very convient for access to the highways as well as close to downtown Del Mar which has the best beach in the San Diego area.

Perfect place

We are just finishing up a seven week stay at this Del Mar townhome, and there's nowhere else we'd rather have been this summer than right here. The location was perfect, and the house provided all the accommodations we needed plus more. The surround sound system and projector make for an amazing media experience. There are even Bose systems in each bedroom with auxiliary cables, so you can plug in your iPhone and play high sound-quality music whenever wherever. The projector is high quality too, such that you can view in the daytime hours as long as you shut most the light sources. But those are just the amenities, the style of this place is fresher than the mist off the beach. It's all hardwood, mirrors and marble. The owners couldn't have hit the contemporary beach house style more perfectly. Upon entering you wonder where the fridge, microwave, and pretty much entire kitchen is, but lo and behold it's all neatly recessed into the finely varnished cabinets. There's nothing missing either. It's perfect space efficiency, yet you don't miss out on any essentials. We were able to have several fantastic group dinners with the surround sound playing, and then convert directly afterwards to enjoying an HD projected movie. This place was perfect. Other items of note: Extremely comfy beds, tons of closet space, great breeze, and sweet balconies, 5 minute drive to UCSD and Torrey Pines Golf Course, 5 minute drive to the Del Mar Racetrack, and the beach is just a brief walk. 10/10
