Great home for move back to San Diego

Beth's home was a great stay for short term housing while my family relocated back to San Diego. Loved the view of the sunsets from the patio, the proximity to Del Mar hot spots and Torrey Pines, the spaciousness of the unit itself, and ease of access/parking.

Another Great Stay

This was our 5th year to stay at Beth and Milan’s Del Mar condo. We stayed for 6 weeks. The condo was super clean and well stocked. We enjoy walking on the bluff and into town. We several wonderful sunsets that we could see right from the condo. We have already reserved for next year

Another great stay!

This was our 5th winter to stay at this condo. Beth and Milan are great hosts. This condo is very nicely furnished. We love sitting out on the balcony, walking down to the bluff, to Torrey Pines beach, and into Del Mar. Will come again next winter.

Fantastic Stay

We had an amazing time staying at this condo. The location can’t be beat (you can walk to the beach and to downtown) and the space itself is great. There’s a fully stocked kitchen, in unit laundry, and a wonderful deck space where you can sit and see the ocean. The complex as very quiet we didn’t hear anyone making loud noise or anything. Beth the owner is very attentive and responsive. All in all, it was a lovely place to spend a the winter. We will be coming back for sure!

New Owners

Beth and Milan are new owners of this condo and they were great hosts making several improvements right away. Beth was easy to reach and very responsive. This condo has the best location. 5 minute walk to the bluff for sunset, one mile walk to Torrey Pines beach, and one mile walk into the town of Del Mar to restaurants.

Simply put, AMAZING!

The attention to detail, and warmth of this place from the first moment we drove up made it all worth it. The place is beautifully decorated, as if I was upgrading my own home, with large screen TV's in all room, new beautiful tile, everything you could possibly want in the kitchen, bathroom items galore, washer/dryer, everything! The view is spectacular, right on the cliffs, you feel like your driving into a wall of water just driving down the street to reach the complex! Sitting out on the deck overlooking the water is priceless; wonderful walks along the cliffs! This is the best place I have ever stayed at on VRBO. You wont be disappointed. Owner was extremely courteous. helpful, and available to any need/question we had. I wish we could have stayed here forever!

A very nice 2 bedroom, 2 bath that you can view the ocean from your balcony.

We stayed in this condo for six weeks. It has the amenities of home. A well-supplied kitchen, nice size room with large TV and seating for at least 10. There are also TV's in each bedroom. Has a nice porch to have your morning coffee and look at the ocean or watch the sunset. All the windows have automated shades. We liked the location as it was only about 20 minutes from our daughter and her family as well as the downtown or malls were close. You would enjoy the small workout area, the hot tub and pool as well as the use of grills on the property. We also enjoyed the private garage space parking under the tennis courts above. Michael was a great owner and very responsive when we had a question or as in our case, the dishwasher needed repair. I would recommend this property to anyone and we would definitely stay again. Fantastic Stay

This condo has everything you could need. Great balcony for watching sunsets. Short walk to town to restaurants and to Torrey Pines beach. Very comfortable king bed in master bedroom. Beach chairs for sitting on the beach. Owners are very responsive and thoughtful.

Wonderful Stay

The property was in walking distance into town. The condo was equipped with everything needed for a great month. Beth the owner was extremely responsive and wonderful to work with. It was great to have the use of the condo pool and tennis courts. Thank you!

Fantastic getaway

We had an amazing time staying at Mike’s place. The location can’t be beat (you can walk to the beach and to downtown) and the space itself is great. There’s a fully stocked kitchen, in unit laundry, and a wonderful deck space where you can sit and see the ocean. Everyone in the building complex was so kind and friendly and also so respectful - we didn’t hear anyone making loud noise or anything. Mike is also very attentive and responsive. We didn’t really need anything while we stayed, but if we had, we know Mike would have seen to it. All in all, it was a lovely place to spend a very peaceful relaxing trip. We will be coming back for sure!

Best location in Del Mar

We stayed for 10 weeks over the winter. This condo was excellent with great views of the ocean. It had everything we needed and was a short walk to the bluff for sunsets, Torrey Pines beach, and into town for dinner. The owner was very responsive answering any questions we had. We are looking forward to staying next year.

Great Stay in Del Mar

We spent six weeks in this condo while I was receiving some medical treatment in the area. I would call it a "medical vacation". We had a fabulous time. When I was reviewing VRBO listings, I was a bit overwhelmed by the number of options. Thankfully we know the San Diego area well and we keyed in on the beach cities. Del Mar is the perfect choice. Not as overrun by tourists as La Jolla and the close in beach towns, but far more sophisticated than the northern beach cities (Solana Beach, Encinitas, etc.). Plenty of great restaurants, a beautiful public beach and reasonable traffic. This condo is in a newly remodeled complex that looks almost brand new except for the mature landscaping. It's located about a mile from the middle of the village (15th Street), so it's a long walk, despite what other reviewers mention. The complex is VERY quiet and we usually had the pool and gym all to ourselves. Parking is reserved and quite close to the unit. One space is underground, which helps keep the salt air off your car. Now for the condo. Very spacious, very clean, well furnished with more towels, linens and kitchen equipment than you could ever need. The outside deck is lovely in the evenings. There is a small "view" of the ocean, but this unit is definitely not "ocean front". Depending on the time of the year, you get some great sunsets from the deck and living room. For two to four people, you will not go wrong renting this unit. Now for the owner. Mike was most hospitable and went out of his way to accommodate our arrival and attend to a few minor issues we had (like I couldn't figure out how to turn on two of the TVs....turns out that the former tenant decided to unplug them when he departed!). Mike even rescued us one evening when we locked ourselves out, all without a complaint. My wife is already pushing me to book a month next year!

Wonderful property, wonderful owner

Our rental was experience was absolutely no hassle. The condo was just as we expected. Michael, the owner, was responsive and took extra effort to make certain everything was copacetic. Highly recommended.

Great location and comfortable apartment

We stayed in this apartment for three weeks while our daughter-in-law had cancer treatment at Scripps. Even though we were not there under the best of circumstances we enjoyed the convenience of the apartment, our beautiful walks on the cliffs and the close proximity to the hospital.

Great condo, amazing location

Had a wonderful time here, the condo was perfect and able to walk to great beaches and restaurants. Lots of parking which was nice, lovely sunsets from the balcony. Highly recommended!

Great property and owner, and lovely neighbors

I stayed here for a month with my two dogs and loved it. The unit was clean, tastefully decorated and had most staples. Plenty of linens including beach towels. The condo buildings are off of a cul de sac and there's a beautiful, typically empty path towards the cliffs that I enjoyed walking with my dogs. The view from the unit is spectacular. The owner is incredibly helpful and available. I think my favorite thing was the friendliness of the neighbors in the condo unit and in the neighborhood - it was like being in a small town. All in all a great experience and I would stay here again.
