Remodelado en 2017 con azulejos nuevos, encimeras, refrigeradores nuevos, microondas nuevos y terrazas que eliminan la alfombra vieja. Justo al lado del puente Rt 421 que cruza South Holston Lake, estamos al lado pero separados de Laurel Marina. Esta casa del lago cuenta con una sala acristalada .. ocho grandes ventanales con vistas al sur de Holston Lake rodeado de montañosa Cherokee National Forest.
Te sientes como si estuvieras en una gran casa en el árbol donde la vida silvestre está a la altura de los ojos. Nuestro muelle de barcos está conectado por pasos a la casa en el lago permite a los huéspedes a barco, muelle y nadar en la cala de nuestro muelle.

South Holston Lake es un lago prístino con increíbles vistas a la montaña. Las cubiertas de madera rodean la casa y están ubicadas al lado del Laurel Marina Yacht Club. Casa amueblada con futbolín, sintetizador de teclado, mesa de billar en miniatura. Sendero de los Apalaches se encuentra a pocos kilómetros de distancia. Los motociclistas conocen el circuito rt 421 como el 'Serpiente' ... es muy popular los fines de semana.

This home was absolutely perfect for our family. The location is perfect. We enjoyed swimming and the dock in our own little private cove. The proximity to laurel marina is also perfect. The home is very beautiful and clean with impeccable views. Our dogs were also very happy to be able to join us at the lake! 10 out of 10! Can’t wait to return!

Overall fantastic stay!

We had a fantastic stay and I do plan to go back. 15 minutes from the race track, lots of a options near the property to buy essentials and fishing gear. Dock was a great area to fish and hang out. Host had great communication as well!

Great stay again this year. The house is exactly what we need. We are on the lake all and the house is convenient to the many areas we hang out at on the water. Delta Blues at Laurel Marina is wonderful. We did grill a lot again this year and had big breakfast each morning. New cookware and extra serving bowls is greatly needed. We had a fantastic time. The views were incredible and the access to the marina which was just a short walk up the road and the dock which was just down a few stairs made for a perfect week.

Easy, friendly check in. Communication was great.

Property was as described. Beautiful area not far from Bristol. We attended NASCAR night races and it was very convenient from race track. Visited downtown Bristol each day to explore food and activities. Close to Bristol caverns which kids enjoyed. Would love to come back to area and explore more.

We were in town for the Nascar races at Bristol. This is a great location to get away for some peacefulness but still be close to the track. This house is a well-kept, clean house, with a great view. Plenty of seating inside and out. The only issue we had was that this house was listed as a 5 bedroom (2 Queen, 4 Double, 1Twin) sleeping 12. When we showed up there were only 4 bedrooms (2 Queen, 2 Double, 1 Twin), one bedroom of which you must walk through in order to get to another bedroom. We went from having 7 beds to 5. This made it interesting finding sleeping arrangements for the 9 of us when not everyone married or small in size. We did make do sleeping on couches but not at all what we were expecting, nor what was listed when we reserved the hours. The landlord did update after we reached out but still does list too many beds, as of when we left the house there were 2 queens, 2 doubles, 1 twin, and a futon. Very disappointed with the landlord who would not work with us on this, we didn't even get a "sorry, we did mess that up".

Barnard, was very communicative. The place was great fit for me and my family for Christmas. slept everyone comfortably.The only negative I have is there was dust and the bathtub was dirty. Like how a house gets dirty when no been around for awhile. Other than that I would definitely suggest for a lake side vacation.

Good spot for a few days.

Property was nice, easy to find and close to some hikes; there is no yard though and you must drive everywhere except to the one lake it's on, no hiking possibility to walk to. The owner was responsive and a nice place to get away for a few days.

Family Christmas

The lake house met our needs for a family Christmas. 6 adults and 4 children ages 5 and under. Beautiful view and plenty of space. Adults and children wanted to stay longer.

The lake house was perfect for our family needs. There was plenty of room for all who stayed. For those who complained about spiders, just remember you are in the woods and that’s what nature is going to give you. Can’t wait until next year. great place and owner

Great stay. Probably my favorite rental. Bernard was awesome and available, the location was perfect and the house was everything we needed. Easy access to the water, marina down the street. There are steps lol There are spiders, webs, and insects outside. You are in the woods! but the house was clean and homey.

Beautiful view

The lake house has a beautiful view. Plenty of room for the family, lots of steps kept us exercising! It could use a deep cleaning though, especially the bathrooms, and there was mice mess on one of the beds. The kitchen was clean and had sufficient pans etc, but not 1 sharp knife. Lots of deck area for sitting outside.

Perfect Location

Great place with large space for family! We had nine in our group and we were not on top of each other. Two bathrooms with standing showers and one bathroom with tub only. Best perk…… only 20 minutes from the speedway, seriously a great location! I loved the ease of going to Downtown Bristol as well. If you need a quiet location, this is it!

Our second time renting this property

This was our second time renting this house. We love the lake views, the private boat dock, and proximity to Laurel Marina—it’s all about spending time on South Holston Lake for us. There’s a LOT of stairs which may be difficult if you have older family members, but overall it’s a really great rental home for people who enjoy nature and the beauty of Tennessee!!

Wonderful vacation home, even to use to get out of town for a weekend. I . There are many things to do,mostly we relax and enjoy a beautiful view that captures us all.WE cruise on our vacation. Now have 2 boxer brindle dogs.

Our dream home is located on a hillside with much in the way of natural beauty. The Lake is a wonderful forested mountain backdrop with a view from the hillside second to none. We have installed windows troughout to open you to clean fresh air in season(of course ac when needed). Decks exist for outside dining and barbecue on gas grill. Lots of steps will get your exercise during the week. We are near parks and hiking trails. You can enjoy historic trips to Jonesborough,Abingdon,Greenville,Bristol active downtown and country Music heritage.

Pontoon rental available through 3rd person. Bring your own boat or jet ski to use our dock for some lake fun and swimming. There are plenty of places around you can rent boats . Enjoy a beautiful clean lake to swim and fish. We are located near a national forest and the Appalachian trail biking on the Va. Creeper trail between Abingdon and Damascus is wonderful. I hope the weather is pleasant, as it usually is, but if not you will have many other activites to enjoy.
