Wonderful place!

The condo is in a great neighborhood. It's very quiet & has everything you would possibly need for your stay. The owners were great at getting back with me quickly whenever I had a question. This was our 3rd time staying here and would definitely stay again. Thanks Bonnie & Rick

Great place to stay

We've stayed here before and it's in a really nice area. It's very quiet and a great place to walk or ride bikes. We love it in Laguna Vista and will definitely stay there again. It could've been a little cleaner. The rug in the TV room needs a good cleaning or replaced. It's filthy & badly stained. There were dead bugs in the light fixtures above the dining room table and some hairs & dust in the corners in some of the rooms, especially bathrooms. Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed your stay in at our place. We wished you would have informed us that it wasn't cleaned very well because we would have reached out to our property management company and asked them to clean it up for you. We live in Canada and we don't visit the property frequently so we rely on our guests to inform us of anything that is not up to their standards.

Perfect location, affordable and lives up to the pictures!

This two bedroom home is the perfect place for four people or two couples. We stayed at this lovely home during peak summer season end of July 2016. The location is ideal if you are looking to get away from the hustle, bustle and traffic of South Padre, yet close enough if you are looking to get to the waves. This property is about 20 minutes from South Padre, without causeway traffic and 30-40 minutes with traffic. Since it is situated on a golf course, this equals a serene and peaceful setting. If you are planning on cooking or eating in during your stay, the house has all of the basic necessities. You will need to bring all beach supplies and if you are looking to ride around the property, you will want to bring your own bikes. The price was reasonable (approximately $150.00 per night not including cleaning deposit and refundable damage deposit) and the pictures provided are accurate. In addition VRBO and the owners (Rick & Bonnie were friendly, professional and quick with email replies. If the fee remains the same, we would stay here again. Definitely !!! We have already referred our friends and family.

Winter Getaway

We were very satisfied with the casita and the entire golf resort. The home's amenities met all our needs. We felt very safe in the gated community and all the homes there were beautiful. It was very private and we loved sitting on the lanai and taking walks. We loved the golf course and it was a short distance to the club house. Everyone was so friendly. We would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting an extended golf vacation .

Wonderful place to stay!

The condo is very quiet, clean and very well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a long or short stay. We loved it so much we're renting it again next year. There's PLENTY of pots, pans, dishes, silverware, crockpot & bakeware. Beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch when the weather was nice. Bonnie was very nice and got back with me quickly the few times I contacted her with questions. It's a great area to walk or ride bikes. You're only about 15 minutes from South Padre Island which has plenty of wonderful places to eat. Thanks Bonnie & Rick!

Hidden treasure

This online listing needs better photos! This place is great and hidden in a quiet but family friendly neighborhood. It is a condo so it shares a drive way with a neighbor who was very pleasant. Renters have access to the community pool, gym, and golf course. It is about 15 min away from port Isabel and south padre island. 5 min away from a gas station. The community is gated which give you a sense of security.

Clean, Comfortable & Affordable

Our family stayed in this rental for 7 nights (2 adults & 2 kids). We chose this location because it was within driving distance to South Padre Island, but not at South Padre prices. This property is located in a quiet gated community. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The whole condo is beautiful and all the decorating is quite tasteful with an island-vacation feel. Everything is updated and felt clean and easy to use. The kitchen was well-stocked with coffee pot, wine glasses, all the utensils and pots/pans one might need. We cooked many breakfasts, made our lunches to go and cooked a few dinners. We especially appreciated the WiFi and Direct TV. Even though we were on vacation from our busy lives, it was nice to have these services. Most rentals we looked at did not include WiFi. In my opinion, WiFi is a must these days (especially with a teenager and pre-teen), vacation or not. Our biggest/best surprise was the screened-in back porch (that is not shown in the pictures). It was nice to sit out there and enjoy the outside without having to endure the normal Texas bug population. There is a good-size table with four chairs on the patio. Also not pictured is the nice big tub in the master bathroom. We didn’t use it, but it was available for a great bubble bath! We also appreciated the attached-garage with full-size washer & dryer. We really enjoyed our vacation to South Padre – we will most-definitely stay at this property again and we would definitely recommend it to our friends and family! Lastly, the owner was very attentive to our questions and needs.
