Beautiful location! Comfortable lodging! We didn’t read the emails received after booking and didn’t know that there are 200 steps down to the house- we were traveling with three generations of family and, although we wish this was included in the listing that we exhaustedly chose, the owners worked with us to make our stay more comfortable. The older generation limited their movement in and out of the house, which was easier than usual since the view is so idyllic, and the kids had no problem at all. Thank you!

Amazing place and great host. There are a lot of steps from the road to the house. Consider having host set up couriers to bring your stuff.

An amazing place for families on the Amalfi Coast

This place was absolutely incredible for my family of 5 with 3 teenage kids. It's no wonder it's called The Amalfi Coast Dream!! The views from the panoramic windows and balcony were simply amazing. The size of the home and the beds were perfect. The property manager Nunzia was so fantastic. She met us the first day to check us in and during our entire stay was so helpful making us dinner reservations in amazing local restaurants and arranging transportation for us. The only thing I'll say is that you need to be fit to get up and down the 200 steps to the house but it is definitely worth the cardio. Plus Nunzia arranged for us a porter to bring our bags up and down to the house which was well worth it. I would recommend this place and area to any family looking to experience an amazing, low key picturesque town on the Amalfi coast that's not as crowded and commercialized as Positano and Amalfi. We will be coming back to this place for sure!!

Coast trip

The house has amazing views. Close to the beach and 3 restaurants. We took a wonderful 6 hour boat tour of the coast. Listing says on site parking that isn’t accurate. You park in a lot at the top for 30 euros per day.

Amazing view

Our stay in Conca dei Marini was wonderful! Check in was easy and the house was equipped with everything we needed. The view from the house is spectacular! We enjoyed staying in Conca Dei Marini as opposed to the other much busier towns. It’s very easy to get boat taxis over to Amalfi and Positano.

From the location to Pietro (property manager), our 3 night, 2 day stay was everything we can think of, if you want to stay away from the busy side of Positano.

Nice view, clean and spacious apartment. The only challenge is the stairs going up to the street level, which is manageable if you are fit. The owner arranged porter service to help with luggage upon check out. Overall, very nice stay and would recommend.

Excellent property! Pietro was right there to meet us at The Belvedere (up the stairs from property) and made sure we knew how to get around town and go other places on the coast. No worries, you will enjoy. Amazing views. Place is way bigger than pictures show.

Amazing experience

A perfect house for our family of 8. We had 2 children under 11 and 6 adults which the house fit well. The beach and restaurants were a great stop off point. We were able to catch a water taxi to Amalfi for dinner one night. Spectacular. Pietro was super helpful in getting us settled and helped along the way.

A great time in Conca dei Marini

My two girls and I had a great time at this property. It had a great view of the coastline and we spent many mornings on the deck looking out. The property is also located right near the beach where there are three very good restaurants. From the beach there is a ferry taxi that will take you to Amalfi in ten minutes. Our host was very accommodating and helpful with travel plans and recommendations. He stocked the refrigerator with some food for us when we arrived and even offered to take us to the nearby market for additional supplies. Overall, we had an amazing experience here and would definitely come back.

Amazing views and friendly host

Very nice place. Stairs were as expected and we were able to manage the stairs with 3 kids and two large suitcases. We came via car to Hotel Belvedere and Pietro was there to meet us. Pietro patiently answered all of our questions throughout. We went to Positano one day via water taxi to Amalfi and then ferry to Positano from there which was about 180 euros round trip for family of 5. We hired private boat for day 2 which picked us up in Conca. Restaurants were good by the beach, but our favorite restaurant was the one Pietro recommended at the top of Conca, where they pick you up at the hotel Belvedere. Thanks to Pietro for an amazing stay and experience.

Great find

Everything was perfect. Communication with the host was great. Very quick replies. We met Pietro at the top of the steps (there are A LOT of steps) and he showed us the house and explained everything to us. Pietro was very available if we needed anything and truly is the nicest guy! The beach is small but stunning. It was very easy to get a water taxi right on the beach and quickly get to Amalfi and then a ferry to Positano. We loved the restaurants on the beach and especially the staff! Oh, and the views from the terrace were not to be believed. If we ever get the chance to come back, I would stay here again for sure.

The Pearl of the Amalfi Coast

Or family of 6 adults had the most wonderful 7 days. Our host Pietro made us feel so welcome into his house with the most panoramic views from the large windows that we were able to slide open to bring the outside in. The house is absolutely wonderful and approx 100 steps to one of Italy's top beaches. We enjoyed our morning climb to the shop for bread and then down to the beach for a swim. Giofranco at the beach was great with everthing from sun lounge to boat rental and water taxi. The people of Conca di Marini. Welcomed us with open arms and wonderful service with 3 resaturant options right on the beach. We would highly recomend that you to stay in the Villa in this piece of paradise. Thank you again Pietro and we hope to return one day and visit one of the best places for a holiday the world can offer Thanks again Jeff, Vicki and family

Perfecto

We arrived tired and extremely hot as it was August. We were met promptly by our host Pietro who was just as kind and friendly as can be. He is a delight and very willing to help with anything you may need. The home was ready for us. A/C worked great , we used the washer which was wonderful perk. Home is spacious and clean. But the absolute perfect part of the home is the breathtaking view. Every moment in this little town was enjoyed. Great location away from all the busy of Amalfi but so easy to get to with the boat service right on the beach. Beach was a walk down stairs from the home. It’s a lot of stairs but the view along the way made it bearable. I would rent with Pietro again.

Nice stay!

We’ll review the positives first: great location with great views! Not busy like Positano or Amalfi. It’s actually perfect with three restaurants, towel/chair/umbrella rental and boat taxis a little over 100 stairs down. In other words, you have everything you need without the crowds! Nunzia was our contact and helped us from a porter to carry our bags up and down the stairs to groceries to water taxis to hiring a private boat and skipper for the day. The cons weren’t necessarily in the control of the owner, but it was definitely a nuisance. For half of our stay, we had no water. It was on and off and there was no telling when it would shut off. A couple of mornings we had to leave the house without showers. Other days we’d come back from a long and hot day (it was mid 90’s) to no water for showers. We’d also be in the shower with shampoo in our hair and the water would go out. Turned out to be a local issue and not a “house” issue, but thinking this isn’t the first time this has happened in that area. The second issue was that there was construction happening on the floor right below us. We woke up to hammering two days in a row and one day they were cutting tile 8ft under our windows and it was very loud and dusty. OK so having said all of that, the water issue was a town issue and the construction should have just been communicated to us prior to our stay. Loved the town of Conca Dei Marini!. It is full of wonderful and friendly people. Enjoy and thank you Nunzia!

Dream Holiday

The view is heaven on earth and the house is amazing. Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) spent an amazing holiday at the property. Booking-Viviana was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Emails were responded to promptly and in a caring way to our inquiries i.e we asked why the lapse in review dates. The house was used for the owners family and recently went under full renovation. Onsite- Pietro met us upon arrival to make sure we settled in alright. He was available either by text or in person when we had any questions. The kids loved seeing Pietro in the area as it is a small community and everyone knew each other. It was a safe and welcoming feeling to have. Property- The house is beautiful! The pictures do not do the property justice. The windows in the living room look out to Amalfi and the amazing horizon. The windows have the option to open for a slight breeze or slide open to enjoy the full ocean air and magnificient view. This option is great to have with children around. There are air condition units throughout the property. The kitchen is modern with full frig/freezer and even a dishwasher. The bedrooms are well appointed and plenty of clean linens. The view from the master with the french doors is breathtaking. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are also renovated. There are 2 bathrooms (actually 2 1/2 the en-suite in one bedroom is almost done). One bathroom has a jet shower and the other with a sunken bathtub. Other highlights include a balcony, washing machine, internet, etc. Beach- The coblestone steps to the beach is a fairytale. The pebble beach felt like a secret cove that only locals and the elite knew about. There is a rock formation for the kids to jump from, the water is clear, prestine, and calm. There are 3 restaurants at the beach but we feel in love with L'Ippocampo Trattoria. Rafael and the entire team took such good care of us it was hard to say good-bye. Taxi Boat/Activities- Taxi boats are an easy way to get around. Leaving from the beach a round trip ride to Amalfi is 14 euro. Young kids transport free (ours are 9 & 7). John Franco at the activity desk is friendly and took good care of us. We took a ride to Emerald Cave and rented a boat and cruised by Positano. Gabriel has a beach stand and sells water shoes, sunblock, and even fishing lines for the kids. Conca Dei Marini and this property was everything we hoped it would be! Can't wait to book again.

Excellent location in between Amalfi and Positano.

Hose was excellent. 159 steps down from Road and 75 steps from sea. Both times host arrange lauggage pick up. House was clean and enjoyed the view from living room.

Perfect Amalfi Coast location

Our stay in Conca dei Marini was fabulous. We loved the house and the location. It was the perfect place to stay in order to enjoy and explore the Amalfi Coast without all of the hustle and bustle. The house is gorgeous and had plenty of room for the five of us - two couples and our adult niece. There were plenty of supplies and we were able to make a few meals in the home. Because Conca dei Marini is a small village, I would recommend picking up some food/snacks in nearby Amalfi. Everyone knows everyone in Conca and they are very friendly. Pietro was so helpful and kind with all of our requests and questions – he wanted to ensure that we had a wonderful vacation, and we did! We opted to take water taxis everywhere as we were closer to the water than the street. Gianfranco runs a water taxi business and is almost like a concierge down at the beach. There are a number of steps to get to the house, but you get a beautiful view of the coastline as you go up the stairs. We were able to visit Amalfi, Positano, and spend some quality time on the beach in Conca dei Marini. You can rent a beach chair and umbrella and spend a fun day at the beach. Both Amalfi and Positano were very busy and had so many tourists. We also had the pleasure of a thunder and lightning storm two of the nights we were there – with the giant windows it made for an exciting evening. We also were able to see a few fireworks shows. In the morning we would eat breakfast and watch the boats and ships sail by. We did not even turn the tv on - we just looked out the giant picture windows. We ate at two of the beachside restaurants, visiting L’ippocampo Trattoria twice – the seafood risotto is the best I’ve ever had. The food and wine was excellent at both restaurants. I would recommend staying at this place without hesitation-Viviana responded promptly to our emails, and Pietro went out of his way to be helpful and was so responsive via what's app. Thank you so much for the wonderful vacation rental! -Kim

"Très grand appartement avec grand balcon et vue imprenable.Très propre, aucun bruit, L''équipement devrait être reviser comme veille télé défectueuse au départ,pas de grille pain,machine à café trop petite. Lit très confortable. Le proprio devrait donner plus de détail sur les services exemple sur le stationnement et son fonctionnement,marché d''alimentation avec plan.Informer les gens sur les 200 marches et plus à descendre et à monter pour avoir accès au logis.Malgré ces inconvénient mineures nous avons apprécier ce séjour à cet appartement."

"Had a really good time, such an amazing place right next to the sea with a fantastic view from the apartment. Owner was extremely helpful with recommendeing places to go ect. A very useful bus service that will take you to Amalfi or Serrento. And from serrento you can take the train to Pompei which is a definate visit! A really good club near by called Africano (its in a cave). The apartment itself 10/10"

"Appartamento conforme alla descrizione. Punto di forza è l''ampio balcone con vista mare e la poca distanza dalla spiaggia di ciottoli(libera, ma con possibilità di affittare lettini e ombrelloni a buon prezzo). Mare sempre pulito anche se le numerose imbarcazioni che àncorano nella baia - soprattutto di domenica - possono rilasciare carburante. La distanza della casa dalla strada principale consta di 200 gradini in salita, in buona parte all''ombra di un fitto fogliame. Parcheggi nei paraggi solo a pagamento. Parcheggio in zona (a 100/200 metri dalla strada principale - un altro centinaio di gradini) con possibilità di abbonamenti settimanali e mantenimento del posto. La spiaggia sottostante (come gran parte della Costiera, causa monti a picco sul mare) resta in ombra dalle 15.30 ca. del pomeriggio (luglio)."
