Huge home with a great view

Overall, we enjoyed this home. The best part is that each room has a large bed, no bunk beds for adults!! The view was amazing. We were able to utilize the fireplace for the last time of the season. It did leak once we were done using it though. The driveway is very very steep. While we enjoyed it in our Bronco, it was harder for some drivers in sedans. If you’re traveling in the winter with a sedan, you won’t make it up. The home could have used a little more cleaning. The oven was so dirty the home filled with smoke any time we used it. There is also almost no hot water. Even spacing showers out to one 5 minute shower every hour, there wasn’t enough for our group. Dishes had to be washed in luke warm/cold water.

Beautiful view and spacious home

The house was very spacious and accommodated our family well. Each bedroom had a bathroom which was great. The views were great and the house was beautiful. The driveway was very steep but fortunately we did not have any ice or snow. It was only 5 minutes to Wisp which was great. Overall we had an awesome trip and would come back.

Big and Beautiful Home!

What I appreciated the most about Rocky Mountain Lodge is how clean the home was. The space was big and nicely furnished and decorated. We really liked the big table and chairs on the deck. The beds were comfortable! Checking in was easy with the code! We arrived about 15 minutes early and people should know that check in is at 4:00 and not one minute before! Everything we used worked. We didn't use the washer and dryer as we were there only for a long weekend. As per other comments, the driveway is steep and it's a hairpin turn from the road, but we managed fine. I appreciated the Welcome Bag from Railey Vacations with the starter supplies and amenities. One little frustration was when our second and final payment for the rental was due. Since I booked and paid the first payment on VRBO, I assumed I would pay the balance there. I had to email, call and search around to figure out that I had to call Railey Vacations directly to pay the balance. If I had the occasion to ... I would rent this home again.

Beautiful home with great views, driveway is steep make sure you have 4 wheel drive, hot tub wasn’t working first night, tech came to fix it and said it would take 6 hours to warm up and next day it was still cold, did fix it the next day but that was unfortunate. Everything else worked fine. Not much dish soap or dishwasher detergent provided so bring your own. Overall great house and locations

It was a great property. The driveway is very tricky for family members. I overlooked that so it was a bit of surprise. Overall we all enjoyed the accommodations.

Lovely home

Construction happening next door made it so road was blocked off when we arrived and staff we called had no knowledge of that fact and thus could not help us figure out how to find the house. Luckily my husband figured out the road loops and we were able to enter from the other direction. House comes with the very bare minimum in terms of things like paper products (TP, paper towel) soap etc. No salt and pepper, olive oil etc. But the house it beautiful and clean. It was in a great location as well. Overall it was a great house and experience!

lovely dog friendly scenic home

enjoyed the home - great having two ovens for a large group. Nice dog friendly home. View is amazing and decks are perfect, especially for the pooch to enjoy the outdoors. those cots are not really acceptable, though. it was a short stay, two of the younger set slept on couches, so i wasnt a big deal.

The property was amazing!

My friends and I stayed at the property for a couples retreat. The house was amazing and comfortably accommodated 10 couples. Each bedroom was very comfortable. The house was very clean. The hot tub was amazing. The only issue we had during our stay was having hot water during shower and bath times.

Great stay

We had a wonderful time. The house was really nice and had a great view. We and the kids had plenty of room. Slept 10 comfortably and the basement was a great gathering place with plenty to do. Would recommend to anyone.

Nice home, needs a thorough cleaning

We arrived on a Friday evening for two nights. The home is beautiful and updated and decorated very nicely. The problem with this home is it wasn't well cleaned before we arrived. The towels, linens were fine, but our feet immediately became dirty off the kitchen floor. The ovens and stove tops were also dirty as well as some of the cupboard doors. The shower doors needed better cleaning and the beautiful windows that look out over the lake look like they haven't been washed in a year or more. Which is too bad with the beautiful view of the lake from them. The hot tub had a broken hinge that we just happened to be near when we lifted the top, or we would have broken the top if we had not caught it in time. The water was very cloudy, which is a mineral thing (we've had a hot tub for years) and the management company said we should have called them to come put chemicals in. (That was Saturday afternoon and we had to leave Sunday morning.) Well, then we could not have used it anyhow for sometime afterwards and supposedly the pool had been checked the day before we arrived and should have been fixed then. There are only 3 little fry pans which is hard to cook for the 12 visitors, but this was a minor issue. The management company told me when I called them, that it was due for it's "deep cleaning" soon. I feel that if I paid $1,000.00 for two nights, the place should have been spotless. I guess I'm disappointed that we had family come in from all over to celebrate and surprise my husband on his 60th birthday and the home was just what we wanted, but not being as clean as it should have been and the hot tub with cloudy water, was a let down.
