Easy access to the beach! There's a restaurant right next door with good food and not far away from Destin.

Very clean unit and easy walk down to beach, the chair and umbrella service was fantastic. Only down side is we definitely heard the children next door at 5:30 am so walls are thin.

Honeymoon!

We had such a great time staying at this place. It was clean, right on the beach and had easy access for parking. Highly recommend staying here. The kitchen is large enough to cook and the balcony gives some gorgeous views of the beach.

Great week with family!

We absolutely loved our stay in Ft Walton Beach. This was the first time our family has been together in 2 years. The space was great and our family had a blast. Great area and access to the beach was incredibly easy.

We were a little nervous about the stay because honestly the pictures looked to be too good- however, the place is exactly how the condo looks! The constant view from the living area was perfect! The pool area was a kid favorite and we were so grateful for easy access to the beach! We didn’t have any problems while there! Everything was well maintained! Hoping to be back again!

Nice clean condo with easy beach access

We really enjoy this area, but this was our first time at this building. The unit is very clean and the kitchen well stocked. If you’re cold natured, bring an extra blanket as the provided ones are very thin and light. Good amount of towels; bring your own for the beach. Grill access is nice, as is the pool. The only downside was as of 3/25/24 there is a building under construction next door. They start at 7am every morning - including Saturday and Sunday. This is not within the property’s control, but the bedroom windows are feet from the construction, so prepare to be awoken. We would return too this unit if our regular was not available.

Great location but the complex is needing attention

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Island Surf for many years. You can't beat the location. I have noticed that the buildings don't seem to be as maintained as they used to be. Our unit was extremely clean but the mattress needs replaced, the pillows were terrible, the cable didn't work, the Wifi didn't reach the bedrooms. The exterior needs to be power washed at a minimum. Its just obvious the buildings don't get the attention they once received. But I will go back because LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

Wonderful vacation

This was one of the most seamless experiences I’ve ever had with a vacation rental, and we travel a lot! The location is absolutely perfect. Close to everything on the island, FWB, and Destin, and yet tucked away near the end of the strip so it feels so private! It’s a smaller condo which we really enjoyed. We had a wonderful view of the beach and pool from the balcony, and often had the pool to ourselves. This end of the beach is not crowded at all. I always say this beach is the most beautiful beach on the planet and it didn’t disappoint, again. The unit itself was perfect for my teen daughter and myself. The unit was as described in the listing. Plenty of bath towels and the dish detergent and soaps provided were a plus. We LOVED that the rental came with a beach umbrella and two chairs all set up for us every day, included at no cost. So convenient! And though the individual unit doesn’t have laundry, there was a laundry room in the adjacent building that was convenient, secure, and free! Just remember to bring dryer sheets and detergent. The unit is a little dated in spots, but the kitchen has been updated beautifully, and the unit was very clean. Check in and check out were the easiest ever, just a simple text with the door code and another text with a link to check out. Also loved that we didn’t have to wash linens or strip beds, like some rentals require. We thoroughly enjoyed this vacation and would return in a heartbeat!
