Take a walk along this beach past Club Med (15 minutes). Take a short stroll to visit the Albion Lighthouse, which is over 100 years old. At the end of the day, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking sunset. On your way back, relax on the rocks as you watch the mesmerizing waves. Zen Relaxation Break. <br><br>The villa’s pool is located in the center of the lush garden, which features coconut and mango trees. The large terraces, balconies, and lounge chairs by the pool certainly add to the villa’s charm. The outdoor furniture allows you to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner al fresco. <br><br>Each bedroom is 3 square meters, including the master bedroom with an en suite bathroom, a king-size bed, and a TV. There is also an air-conditioned TV room. Movies are also available. All bedrooms, the living-dining area, and the kitchen overlook the pool and garden. A housekeeper will maintain the villa regularly. You also have free Wi-Fi access. If you’d like to explore the island by taxi, we can make the necessary arrangements, such as car rentals. Stunning

We just cannot rate this property highly enough. Absolutely fantastic stay. From initial contact to the sad time we said goodbye communication has been excellent. The property is spacious and clean, it has everything you need. The pool is very private and welcoming after a day out exploring. The villa is in a quiet residential area, you do need a car though to explore. Two short roads to the public beach and lovely little corner shop. The residential cat and her kittens were a delight. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything you could need!

This is a lovely peaceful villa in a quiet area of Albion. The friendly and helpful hosts have made sure there is nothing you could want for. We needed to come away and relax and we did just that. Yet Albion is well placed for exploring the rest of the island and seeing the beautiful beaches, go dolphin watching, drive a buggy through a nature reserve or visit the giant tortoises. Our maid even brought us some Diwali treats! Thank you Fara and Françoise for your kind welcome.

Exceptionally clean property with beautiful and practical outdoor space. Inside was quirky but we seemed to manage well with what was there. Washing machine, dishwasher and clothes horses is always great to have on holiday!Location of Albion is mainly for locals working in Port Louis so quiet apart from stray dogs. Supermarkets nearby are good. Lovena and Dany worked very hard and seemed very kind. The (remote) host was also friendly in communications. Check in is in-person with Lovena/Dany and yet timing of our check-in was arranged via remote host in a different time zone so bare this in mind if you can’t use your UK phone in Mauritius.Apart from the new master en-suite, the rest of the house is dated. Air con in one room required repair whilst we were there which was arranged by the host/s. Master bedroom could use a chest of drawers. Think this is a Vrbo issue rather than deception but bear in mind there is no “Gym” on the property except an old exercise bike in the tv room: we got 5 or6 swimming strokes in across the swimming pool so used this for exercise. Overall impression is that the property is a very clean and practical option to explore the west coast. The hosts were friendly and we felt safe there.

Nice house with a pool

Offer consistent with the description. Good contact with the tenant and the facility staff. Very well equipped kitchen. Dishwasher cubes and detergent included. Sufficiently sized swimming pool. Small but very nicely landscaped area. Access to the nearest, small beach - 300 m. On the nearest beach there are generally very few people, on the main beach in Albion not too many either. Shallow water, swimming and snorkeling is best during high tide. Good for children. Water shoes recommended, sea urchins were visible. As for the store - choose the Dodo supermarket, it is further away, but much better stocked. A bit far from the restaurant - you can reach fast food or a small pizzeria on foot, others rather by car.

Amazing place in cozy Albion, Mauritius!

What a lovely place Villa Belifage Verte is! We loved every minute of our stay and can highly recommend it. First of all, the propriataire Françoise is a real gem - she is a very nice and lovely person and responded in a very timely manner to all our requests. By coincidence, we could meet her personally and it was a real warm meeting and she provided a lot of tips for our stay. There is also a team of housekeepers on spot are just lovely and show up every other day (or as you'd like) to clean the house, pool, garden and even offer to cook dinner if you want - we took them up on their offer two times and it was absolutely delicious (real local creole cuisine)! The Villa Belifage Verte itself is a wonderful place in the small, but cozy village Albion at the west coast of Mauritius and fulfilled all our desires: it's a big villa with an amazing pool, lovely garden (with beautiful flowers and coconut palm trees), a huge patio for breakfast, lunch and dinner, great and big bed rooms (3), two bath rooms and a fully equipped kitchen with a big fridge. For us, everything was there. Also, we had a rental car (highly recommended for this place but also to be able to discover the island, even though the bus system is working well), and you can park it easily inside the huge garden in the shadows of palm trees (automatic garage doors, which is very convenient). If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Mauritius a bit away from all the touristy places, we can highly recommend Ville Belifage 'Verte'! You can't ask for a better host than Françoise nor a better team on spot - thank you for everything! Five stars++!

Nous avons passé 2 superbes semaines à Maurice dans la villa. Celle-ci est superbe, spacieuse, très propre, bien équipée et avec un accès rapide et facile à la plage ou pour faire des courses (Dodo supermarket à 5 minutes en voiture). La piscine et le jardin sont bien entretenus...on a l'impression d'un décor de carte postale sauf que c'est la réalité!! Dany et Lovena sont absolument adorables, très accueillants, disponibles toujours là pour un petit conseil ou pour un service. Ils nous ont rendus la vie facile malgré nos valises qui sont arrivées avec plusieurs jours de retard!Merci encore pour ce superbe séjour. Nous (et les enfants) en garderons un excellent souvenir!!!

Alles in allem sehr schön, kleiner Mangel: Kein Wäschewechsel in 2 Wochen ebenso wie keine Zwischenreinigung in 2 Wochen. Francoise und ihre Manschaft aber sehr freundlich und nett. Die Villa selbst bietet alles was man braucht.Infrastruktur mit Mietwagen leicht erreichbar, schöner Strand in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

Nous avons passé un très bon sejour. Propriétaire très sympathique ainsi que les différentes personnes avec qui nous avons pu échanger. Très réactive à nos demandes. Maison grande et très agréable au calme,pas loin de la mer et idéalement situé pour rayonner sur l'île. Merci encore à francoise, rajini et chanda. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt. Wir (2 Erwachsene) waren im Oktober 2024 für eine Woche Gast in der Villa Belifage. WIr wurden herzlichst empfangen und keine Frage blieb unbeantwortet. Die Lage in Albion eignet sich hervorragend für Touren in die Mitte bzw. den Süden der Insel, aber auch für Fahrten nach Port Louis. Deshalb erfolgt von uns die Bewertung 10 von 10.

Wunderbare Tage in Mauritius

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 1 Teenager und 1 Kind) waren im Juli 2024 für 2 Wochen in der Villa Belifage zu Gast. Von Véronique wurden wir herzlich empfangen und sie hat uns sogar ein sehr leckeres landestypisches Gericht gezaubert. Sowohl Véronique als auch Françoise waren jederzeit für alle Fragen ansprechbar und haben uns für die Unternehmungen auf Mauritius wertvolle Tipps gegeben. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was das Selbstversorgerherz begehrt. Es gibt viel Platz, einen tollen Pool und die großartige Natur direkt vor der Haustür. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen, mit dem wir ab Albion die schönsten Orte auf Mauritius erkundet haben. Die Fauna und Flora ist sehr interessant, eine Empfehlung unsererseits ist ein Besuch des La Vanille Naturparks. Die Strände sind sauber, überall gibt es genug schattige Plätze und Street Food, das man unbedingt probieren muss. Es war ein rundherum gelungener Urlaub, was nicht zuletzt an der Villa und Véronique lag.

Ein Schmuckstück von einem Haus mit Charm und Leben gefüllt:-)!

Wir hätten es nicht besser treffen können. Eine Villa mit eigenem Pool in einem ruhigen Wohnviertel mit "unsichtbarer" Nachbarschaft. Kommunikation mit Francoise war hervorragend, unser Aufenthalt (2 Wochen) verlief völlig problemlos! Der Ort ruhig und beschaulich, mit guten Restaurants und auch Garküchen. Ein Leihwagen bzw. Motorroller ist empfehlenswert zumal es doch einiges auf der Insel zu entdecken gibt. Ein schöner, kleiner Strand (nicht überlaufen) und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit 2 Autominuten bzw. 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Volle Weiterempfehlung für Urlauber die einen ruhigen Aufenthalt mit Flair und Ausstrahlung einem Betonbunker in einem lauten Touristenort vorziehen.

Wonderful stay in a wonderful house!!

We enjoyed every minute of staying in this property. The garden was a dream and the kids had the best time in the pool every day. Francoise was so very helpful and made life so easy for us even with our very inconvenient arrival and departure times! Big thank you to Fara also. We would love to visit again!

Clear recommendation! Five stars!

We (family with 2 teenagers) stayed over Christmas and New Year's Eve in the beautiful Villa Belifage Verte in Albion (Maritius). Albion is a very good starting point in the middle west of the island, from which the island can be explored very well by rental car. Not far from the villa there are also two supermarkets where the locals of Alboin do their shopping and where we also found everything we needed. The villa is located in a quiet and safe residential area of Albion and offers everything the advertisement promises, including a nice swimming pool. It was very clean in the villa, very homey and tastefully decorated. Especially the flair of the villa with the veranda we liked very much! No negative points that we can report! Already at the beginning of our travel planning, the contact with Francoise ( owner / landlord) was really nice, fast and reliable. Francoise was always available with suggestions, whether it was about the transfer from the airport to the villa or the question of a recommendation for dinner on New Year's Eve. Our time in Villa Belifage Verda was wonderful all around and we like to remember our time there. Many thanks to Francoise, Fara and Sherline!

Séjour aurez le à Albion

Nous avons passé un bon moment à la villa Belifage Verte. La maison est spacieuse (cuisine un peu petite) et fonctionnelle. L’espace extérieur est très agréable. Nous avons juste rencontré quelques problèmes d’électricité qui est est vétuste (mais sans gravité). Les chiens errants sont nombreux est aboient beaucoup en soirée. Albion est bien situé et préservé du tourisme de masse.

adaptée à une famille

La propriété est située dans un quartier calme, elle est ultra sucurisée. Les installations sont vieillottes et parfois mériteraient une rénovation (lavabo cassé dans une sdb) La cuisine ultra petite donne sur une terrasse ou sur la salle à manger. L'équipement de cuisine est complet, mais dommage de n'avoir à disposition qu'une salière. Pas de poivre huile ou vinaigre, quand on passe 4 jours ce serait un service bien peu onéreux mais tellement facilitant. L'installation electrique est compliquée et la disposition des interrupteurs pas naturelle. Il faut un temps d'adaptation. Cependant les éclairages et les climatisations sont fonctionnelles. Le ménage fait "régulièrement", c'est un peu imprécis. Arrivés le jeudi, veille de férié, nous sommes restés jusqu'au dimanche matin sans voir de femme de ménage ni pisciniste. Pas de sac poubelle à disposition non plus. Un endroit agréable et des pistes d'amélioration faciles à mettre en oeuvre

VILLA SPACIEUSE ET BIEN SITUEE

Nous avons passés 3 semaines magnifiques dans cette villa spacieuse et trés bien équipée (surtout la cuisine). Sharonne était au petit soin pour nous, elle nous avait fait à mangé le jour de notre arrivé (trés appréciable et délicieux). La villa est proche de petits commerces tel que DODO Market et aussi de la plage. La piscine est trés bien entretenu. Les échanges avec Françoise étaient rapide et précis. Je remercie Françoise de nous avoir permis de rester plus tard le jour du départ, nous avons pu profiter de la piscine.

Merveilleux

Ue charmante petite maison qui a su conquérir tout le monde, les grands comme les petits. Très bien situé et les lieux son t sécurisés. La tranquillité des lieux est un point très positif. Il y a quelque chose à saluer: L'absence de mobilier en plastique et en cuisine le moins possible., c'est relativement rare dans les locations du genre. Un grand merci à Francoise qui a toujours été disponible qu'importe la situation et Charonne également de nous avoir toujours répondu. On y reviendra.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt in dem schönen Anwesen.

Wir waren vom 17.11. - 01.12.2019 zu Gast. Alles klappte vollkommen reibungslos und Charonne war super freundlich und kümmerte sich um alles. Das Haus ist wirklich super ausgestattet und wir konnten unsere Zeit genießen. Immer wieder überraschte sie uns mit kulinarischen Aufmerksamkeiten. Nachdem ein Fahrad eine Reifenpanne hatte wurde sogar ein neues Fahrrad gekauft. Wir können die Unterkunft wirklich weiterempfehlen.
