Great stay

We stayed in villa Kevin for 15 days and had an overall great stay huge tv and Netflix is a bonus. Pool was great as were the caretaker and owner Communicated things very well . We were allowed to check out late which helped our day for travel. Good value place to stay but you will need transportation to get around. We hired a car so there was no issue. Overall we are very happy with our holiday stay in Rawai Thanks for everything

Das Haus ist wirklich schön Zimmer, Pool alles ok. Der Strand in der Nähe vom Haus ist nicht schön und eignet sich nur bedingt zum Schwimmen. Nach dem wir am Abend und in der Nacht Music gehört haben,( keine Party) kam direkt eine böse Mail. Andere Nachbarn haben an andeen Tagen übrigens auch Music gehört. Sollten wir nochmal dort sein kommt das Haus wieder in die engere Auswahl.

Great spacious villa

Villa is lovely and spacious set down a little road off the main hustle and bustle of the busy main road .. 7/11 shop a minute walk away. The lady opposite checked us in and gave us relevant information and kindly helped find us a taxi on the first night. From then we download ‘Grab’ which is like Uber for taxis and food delivery. The pool was lovely and clean and we were left in peace to enjoy a quiet 5 nights. Great base to explore this part of Thailand but you need to take taxis or transport to most places. You need to buy essentials like soap, washing liquid etc upon arrival as these items not provided. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Phuket Holiday

Spent a week here and was very pleased. Quiet serene area just outside the bustling area of Rawai Pier. Villa was clean and spacious. Internet and Netflix were a bonus.

Quiet, clean, contemporary.

Quiet, clean, contemporary. Near a Mosque, call to prayer in earshot. Requires auto, taxi, or motorbike to get to places. Coffee place and small shops in the neighborhood. Caretaker is across the road if needed. Nice pool and layout. Great to have 3 bathrooms and bedrooms. We used a local driver to pick us up and suggest drive-to locations, drop off and pick up shopping, beaches, etc.

Great Villa

With 3 big rooms and big comfortable beds plus big living rooms it was a very pleasant stay with 5 people. Of course the pool is great. A plus is also parking inside the property. The most we enjoyed was a new huge TV with Netflix.

Good visit despite some frustrations

Overall, it is a nice property and is largely as advertised. We especially liked the pool. Villa is located near stores so easy to get hand soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, cooking supplies, etc. We appreciated that there some spices on site! For grocery stores, "Food for Foreigners" have British products, though you can get a lot at the other grocery stores (Makro, Lotus). We got most of our house supplies at Super Cheap. Rossovivo Ristorante, Nang Naan & Hana Ramen are in walking distance and are good. Rawai View is worth a trip. As noted in an earlier review, there is a beach in walking distance but it is not for swimming. The "neighbor" acts as an onsite property manager and is quite kind. Her English is good enough to have basic conversations. She and the owner were flexible when things came up. One thing that could have been improved would be fixing the address on the VRBO site. The address takes you to a hotel. Fortunately, we were able to quickly contact the owner and work it out (though we got the address to the villa next door, which later became a problem for pick-ups). Check in and check out were not clear and we had to initiate the conversation. In addition, housecleaning that was promised but then retracted during our stay. We are still not sure why that was the case. We would recommend if there is not to be housecleaning every week, that there is a broom and other cleaning supplies onsite for the house guests to use. In addition, the villa has lots of lights but only some of them work - it is the case throughout the house. I imagine if they were all working it would be too bright, but there were times more light would have been good. These are relatively small points. The biggest issue was overall communication but some factors not working in our favor. 1. We do not speak French so we had to Google translate all of the messages and some nuance could have been lost. 2. We learned late in our stay that the owner had a significant death in the family during our stay. These might explain sometimes poor or late communication from the owner. For example, when registering our concerns about the house cleaning, the response was essentially "be grateful I did not rent this out to the Russians for more money." Multi-part questions were often not answered in a timely manner. As noted, extenuating circumstances could have accounted for some of this, but would advise renters to be proactive in communication.

Two weeks as a tourist.

The property is as advertised. Clean and home like. Great place to stay on vacation. The "close to the beach" part is a bit of a stretch. The "beach" is more like a fisherman's cove. But the owner is friendly and will help with travel arrangements. The island is small so getting from one place to the other isn't too hard. Overall a great experience. I would definitely recommend.

Luxus Urlaub in Thailand

Ein wunderschönes privates Haus mit privaten riesigen Pool. Alles sauber, nicht angewöhnt, super funktionierende Geräte von Markenherstellern. Betten nicht durchgelegen. Alles sauber und ordentlich. Die Nachbarin Jang kümmert sich liebevoll um alles. Man bekommt Rat, Hilfe, etwas zu Essen und immer ein Lächeln. Lage ist unserer Meinung nach super, in einer seitenstraße und doch direkt an der Straße Punkt aber es ist kein Lärm oder ähnliches zu hören. Ca 300 m zum Wasser, wo aber leider lauter Boote Anliegen und somit ein baden und möglich ist. Aber Spaziergänge sind sehr schön. Bis zum nächstgelegenen Strand sind es vielleicht sieben Minuten mit dem Moped. Aber Phuket hat ja so viele schöne Strände, dass es sich lohnt mobil zu sein. Wir können dieses hübsche, schöne, saubere Haus nur weiterempfehlen. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub, vielen lieben Dank. Tom und Martina + Freunde
