Casa el Mar is a spacious, luxurious villa with a private pool, built from local natural stone. <br>The house is situated on a hill and offers expansive views of the bay, the village, and the mountains from all sides.<br>The partially covered front terrace, featuring a lounge area, dining area, fireplace, and grill, offers panoramic views of the village and the bay.<br>On the southeast side of the house, nestled among the olive trees, is the 9.5 x 5-meter swimming pool.<br>Outdoor shower with hot water and lounge chairs. <br>Adjacent large garden. Bordering the village’s inner ring, with the center a 10-minute walk away, and on the other side surrounded by nature, bordering the Cap de Creus Nature Park. The ideal base for hiking, jogging, mountain biking, etc. <br>Layout: Living room with open kitchen and large sliding doors opening onto a partially covered terrace with a sea view. Large dining area and lounge with a fireplace. The entire sliding glass door can be retracted into the wall, creating one large indoor-outdoor space. <br>On the first floor, 3 spacious bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom.<br>Master bedroom with a large bed, walk-in closet, and views of the bay; sliding glass doors leading to the south-facing terrace. Great holiday house

Very nice place to spend a couple of weeks with family and friends: Large comfortable beds, good aircon if required Large comfortable living spaces - indoor and outdoor Large, well-equipped kitchen, plus a large 'plancha' outside - great. Very nice pool and pool area Lovely location above the town, but quick and easy to access the town

Beautiful spot in Cadaqués

We loved our stay here. You can easily walk into the village of Cadaques, and have a breathtaking view from the terrace. The house itself could use a little updating, but overall it’s a special place.

Wonderful week at Casa el Mar, superb views over the town and bay. Short but testing walk to the town and its numerous cafes and restaurants. Tip - pre-book Dali House well in advance. All facilities as described. A luxury property and stunning location.

Overall experience was good. Christa was very prompt to respond and helpful at arrival as well as throughout our stay. The property was beautiful with a lovely view. The cleaning staff could have been more attentive to the cleanliness and was a little outdated however we had a lovely time and enjoyed our stay!

The place is exactly as amazing as seen in the photos. There’s enough space and rooms for everyone both inside and outside. The views are amazing all around are amazing. Communication with Christa was easy and she was very helpful.

Beautiful home, even better view.

This home was perfect for six friends (three couples) to spend a few days enjoying cadaques. Christa is a wonderful host and the house has everything we needed. It is a little bit of a hike uphill from town, but it’s with it for the view!

Large property. Great views. Great host. Relaxing. < 10 minute walk to center of Cadaques - all down hill. Steep climb back to the house, but worth the hillside view.

Unbeatable Location

The view from this property is unbeatable. Cadaques is an absolute dream. Christa was incredibly helpful and gave us great recommendations. Keep in mind the streets are incredible steep and narrow so I wouldn’t recommend for a novice driver. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Lovely spot

We stayed in this luxurious house with a pool during a brief visit to beautiful Cadeques. There were six of us with a small dog. The kitchen and dining area are fantastic, as is the outdoor eating and lounging space. All the check in/out process worked fine. Only small downside was no soap in any of the bathrooms and the property manager was a little less communicative than we like. I wouldn't let that stop you from booking this lovely place.

Spacious and beautiful

We loved our stay at Casa el Mar in Cadaques. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children. The view was incredible, the weather couldn’t have been better and the pool was just the right temperature. The bedrooms were comfortable and having 4 bathrooms was great. Easy walk down hill into town; coming back up was a little more challenging but my 4&6 year old grandkids had no problem. I would love to come back to Cadaques and would return to Casa el Mar. Stunning property—Best of Cadaques

Gorgeous destination with luxurious terrace, pool, and Mediterranean views. Tons of space! Be willing to walk up and down the steep hills. Driving around town is not feasible. Soap and shampoo are not provided, but there are markets in town for anything you need. Our elegant host provided fantastic suggestions for dining and entertainment. But dining on the terrace is heavenly!

Perfect stay in Cadaques

The location of the property is ideal. You’re parked on the edge of the village for easy access to nearby sights by car without the stress of driving through the town but by foot it is 5 minute walk to the village/seafront. It is uphill on the way back but all the better to work of your dinner from one of Crista’s fabulous recommendations . The house is stunning, beautiful design, comfortable furnishings and excellent views. 4 adults and 3 children were accommodated very comfortably. The outdoor areas were equally beautiful, gorgeous pool and lovely dining and lounging area plus BBQ. Our hosts were excellent provided great advice and were attentive without being intrusive. Can’t recommend this property enough, I just need to win the lotto so I can take early retirement there!!

Beautiful views

We had a lovely stay in Cadaqués. Christa communicated clearly with us and made our arrival and check in very easy. She was helpful and friendly. There were 10 people in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The views were incredible and we enjoyed time at the outdoor patio and at the pool. The house is a short walk from town but far enough for it to be quiet and relaxing. The house was not unclean, but it did feel a bit heavily worn and in need of a deep cleaning, especially in the kitchen and on window sills and shelves that were sticky and dusty. The basement room was a bit musty but the kids didn’t seem to mind. Be aware: there are no smoke detectors at this property. Overall, we had a lovely stay in Cadaqués and enjoyed the house.

Un cap de setmana molt agradable

Quan vàrem arribar al vespre La Sra. Christa ens esperava, amb la casa calenta i tot a punt. Un cap de setmana molt agradable, sense cap sorpresa tot estava perfecta, molt bones prestacions tant les habitacions el saló menjador terrasses i jardins, etc. La recomano, molt bones vistes, tranquil·litat, molt bon nivell de prestacions res a dir molt correcte Tornarem

La maison et son emplacement est fantastisque, très bon accueil, et très bien équipée. Parfait pour notre séjour en famille, on s'est régalé!!!

Un beau moment !

Très belle maison !! On a trouvé tout ce dont on avait besoin ! Cuisine super bien équipée. Malheureusement le ménage laisse quelques surprises…. Les 3 belles chambres sont au niveau du jardin et la 4 eme au sous sol sans décoration avec la buanderie sans séparation ! Quel dommage !!!

´Le ménage laisse quelques surprises´... J´ai contacté le locatrice et elle ne pouvait me préciser que seraient ces surprises. La quatrième chambre en bas a bien de la décoration et les machines de laver et de sécher se trouvent chachées à part et ne sont pas visibles des deux lits. c´est assez bizarre qu´après plus de vingt ans de locations on recoitun tel review négatif.
