Fabulous Villa

The villa was even better than it looked in the photos, the pool is big and amazing, the views are wonderful. Everything we needed was there, beds were comfy, BBQ dinners on the balcony were memorable - local octopus is delicious. You do need a car as Salobrena is a long trek

Delightful Villa

This Villa is a delightful well furnished villa.There were a couple of minor issues we had, but these were resolved quickly and to our 100% satisfaction.The only negative observation we have, although it did NOT affect our visit, is the spiral staircase upto the 3rd bedroom which is rather steep and not suitable for very young or elderly guests. This bedroom lacks an en suite and would necessitate trips up and down the spiral staircase to visit the toilet. I think this might be useful to point out, just in case guests were using this 3rd bedroom for young or elderly guests.Otherwise, the property is as listed with superb views

Outstanding holidays at a fantastic place

We spent a wonderful ten days at the villa. Everyone really enjoyed it. The layout of the house was perfect for us and the cleanliness of the rooms was very good. We particularly liked the style of the furnishings and the attention to detail. Last but not least, the breathtaking view should be emphasised, which makes the place very special. The service provided by the agency was also very friendly and courteous. We will be back very soon.

Great villa with fantastic views

Absolutely fantastic views and a very nice villa as well. A touch of Spanish and malaysian stile mix gives the villa a great feeling of 'zen', where you can really relax. Owner/bureau had made a lot of small gestures to let us feel welcome, which we really appreciated. Only thing to comment on could be the road on the foot of Monte Almendros, which can be heard, but you can surely have the greatest and most luxurious holliday ever in any case. Best recommendations from us.

Beautiful view in amazing location

High up overlooking the sea and old castle the villa is well placed to enjoy your stay. The house is lovely with good separation on the rooms which all have a great view. Kitchen is well appointed with everything you need for indoor or outdoor dining at home. Was a bit cool on our stay to enjoy the pool and we had to use the portable heaters in the mornings to warm things up but for March it was expected. Would highly recommend for a relaxing stay still within easy reach of Granada (<1 hour drive), Malaga (1.25 hrs) and the entire coast. Nerja caves are a great attraction for kids and are just 30 mins away. Lots to see and do in the area.

Perfect

Mara's property is wonderful, full of antiquities from around the world, areas of recluse and large social gathering points. Probably the best view in Andalusia greets you when entering the pool area. Nestled in the mountainside the view over the bay is breathtaking, a magnificent air display at dawn and dusk by the flight of local Swallows just adds to the appeal of this property. The bedrooms are really romantic and the bathrooms are both quirky, extravagant and functional. We had a marvelous stay and look forward to booking again in the near future. Mara was the perfect host and her tips and local advice were brilliant.

Lovely

Both the villa and the location are fabulous, the views really make this property something very special. I would suggest it is suitable for adults or families with older children due to low walls, not an issue for us though. Sadly I managed to break my arm during our holiday however this did not spoil our time, it just changed our plans meaning we spent much more time at the villa and this was a really enjoyable time. There is a good size pool (great for rehab of broken arm!). The master suite is spacious and comfortable and there are two more bedrooms - all with aircon. We cooked most days and even used the BBQ on one evening. The villa has a calm and tranquil feel, the owner has gone to great lengths to choose very beautiful and interesting items for guests to relax among. We would love to revisit one day.

Stunning villa & host

First of all, Mara is quite possibly the friendliest, most helpful host we’ve ever stayed with. I was really worried about arriving in the early hours of the morning, but Mara reassured me this would not be a problem. She was in contact for any questions we had which took any worries we might have had away. The Villa is beautiful. It is so spacious and airy, with amazing views from every room except the bathrooms! The pool is amazing… big enough to play in and lovely to enjoy the views from. There was everything you could need in the Villa - kitchenware, towels, coffee machine, washing machine…. We spent most of our time in the pool and sitting on the terrace just looking out at the views.. it never got boring! The town, including a Supercor and Lidl, are just a 5 minute drive away, so really easy to get to. We would definitely stay here again and feel that our holiday in the Villa was a really special one. Thank you Mara 😁

Wonderful villa

The first thing we noticed was the stunning view over the sea and mountains, it really is fully 180 degrees. The villa is bigger than it looks on the website with more to see, we stay at different villas 2 or 3 times a year and this is one of the best, very spacious and individually furnished, it is more like staying in a home rather than a rental, even the kitchen knives were sharp not something we normally find. We spent most of the time on the terrace and in the lovely pool enjoying the view, the property is not overlooked. We also ate out in Salobrena old town - we recommend a taxi, driving/parking is a nightmare in the narrow streets, we also visited Alumencar, easier to navigate. Wi fi excellent, pool towels provided and lots of space for guests to spread out in. We would have liked a folder of information as usually provided with things like taxi numbers, local doctors and restaurant suggestions etc. as scanning the qr code and accessing information was inconvenient and not really relevant to the villa. No guest book either and it left us wondering if the villa had ever been rented out before. We had a great week with friends and would happily return in the future.

Jaw Dropping Property on Spain's Costa Tropical

My wife and I have just spent and unbelievable week at this amazing property! I cannot say enough about Mara and all she does to make your stay as pleasant and perfect as it can be. The minute you set foot in the doorway you know you are in for a real treat. The interior of the house is more beautiful than the pictures. And from looking at the pictures that is hard to beat. As you move through the property it just keeps getting better. All the appointments she has brought into the house are just beautiful. Bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas. All are stunning with breath taking views from every room. Then you walk out onto the terrace and gaze out into the blue Mediterranean. I think I have found that " heaven on earth" place. The infinity pool is the exclamation point to this property. Its just Perfect. Our week was highlighted by pristine weather. The location of the property is central to most everything you may wish to do. You are so close to so many things. We went hiking in the mountains just to the north and visited several of the quaint "Pueblos Blancos". Almunacar is a cute beach town full of fun and lively restaurants. Salobrena, which is just down the hill is a lovely town also with two pretty beaches and several nice dining options. Granada, an unbelievably cool town with the world famous Alhambra, is just a short 40 minute drive away. Perfect day trip. And then there were the days we just Hung Out. Although the house is located in an established neighborhood you will feel a sense of complete privacy. As I mentioned earlier, Mara is a wonderful host. She will do everything in her power to make your stay an enjoyable experience. She is never more than a phone call away. I cannot recommend this place more. It is by far the most beautiful rental we have ever stayed in. Thank you Mara for this special opportunity.

Un verdadero refugio de ensueño!

Todo estuvo genial. La casa es preciosa y exactamente como se presenta en el anuncio de Vrbo. El servicio y la comunicacion con la dueña estuvo excelente. Tiene vistas privilegiadas y se encuentre cerca del centro de Salobreña. Un excelente lugar para explorar atractivos de Granada y para descansar y relejarse.

Best Vacation experience ever...

...besides the last time we were here! We loved it so much we came back. Everything is as perfect as ever. The villa is gorgeous and well cared for. The beds are comfortable, every amenitiy you could want is there linens, kitchen tools, books, games, entertainment and incredible art everywhere. If there’s a service you want like a massage or private dinner or plans in nearby Granada-Mara is like the ultimate concierge to help make your trip a memory of a lifetime. The pool is like a dream - with a epic view of the Mediterranean and old castle in Salobrena. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Mara. You know we will be back. Book soon before we do!

Überaus herzlicher Empfang durch die charmante Besitzerin. Sie spricht fließend Spanisch, Italienisch, Französisch, Deutsch und Englisch (!) Traumhafter Ausblick von der Terrasse auf Land und Meer. Traumurlaub in der Villa Almaysia

Wir haben einen fantastischen Traumurlaub in der Villa Almaysia verbracht. Nachdem wir sehr herzlich von Fatima empfangen wurden, versetzte uns der anschließende Rundgang durch die Villa mit seinen asiatischen und afrikanischen Einrichtungen in Erstaunen. Sie ist wirklich sehr dekorativ und geschmackvoll gestaltet. Von der super möbilierten Terasse mit angerenzendem Pool waren wir völlig überwältigt. Es bot sich uns ein fantastischer Blick auf die Sierra Nevada, Salobrena und das Meer. Unsere Erwartungen wurden bei weitem übertroffen. Das Klima ist um diese Jahreszeit sehr angenehm. Wurde es zu heiß, sorgte der fantastische Infiniti Pool für Abkühlung. Die Region bietet zahlreiche Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Der Urlaub in dieser traumhaften Villa wird uns stets in bester Erinnerung bleiben. Ganz liebe Grüße an die nette Gastgeberin Fatima.

Wunderschöner Blick und stilvolles Wohnen

Wir verbrachten eine schöne Woche im November in der Villa Almaysia. Die Villa bietet einen wunderschönen Blick von der Sierra Nevada links und weiter das Mittelmeer bis zum Horizont. Die Villa hat sehr stilvolle große Räume und bietet viel Platz zum Wohlfühlen. Unbedingt empfehlenswert für ruhige erholsame Ferien.

Andalusien Frühling 2014

Wir kennen die Gegend von Salobrena schon. Waren vom 13.- 23.Mai 2014 wieder dort. In einem wunderschönen Haus. Sehr gepflegt. Toplage mit Sicht aufs Meer. Erstklassig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ruhig. Ein wunderbare, aufgestellte Gastgeberin. Wir können dieses Haus nur empfehlen. Golf nur 6 Kilometer. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur 3 Kilometer. Einfach fantastisch um von Business Stress Distanz zu bekommen. Wir haben die 10 Tage im Haus von Fatima wirklich genossen. Wir gehen wieder hin. Es waren 10 wunderbar sonnige Tage mit leichtem Wind vom Meer. WIR KÖNNEN DIESES HAUS IN ANDALUSIEN NUR EMPFEHLEN. Auch liebste Grüsse an die freundliche Gastgeberin Fatima.

Ein wunderbares Haus mit einer fantastischen Aussicht. Check-in/out/Service vor Ort hat sehr gut geklappt. Der einzige Wermutstropfen war eine Baustelle unterhalb des Hauses die sich über eine Woche hingezogen hat. Die war leider mit teilweisen starkem Baulärm verbunden. Abbruch einer Mauer.
