Fabulous location. We mostly used it for sleeping as there was so much to do and see. Would have been nice to know the impact of the road race —- carting lots of luggage for over a ile through crowds was a challenge and delayed our departure!

Excellent Location with Everything I Needed

Very centralized location in walking distance of the Pantheon, Notre Dame, the Louvre, and many more. Apartment is cozy and tidy with allthe amenities that I could want or need for my 5 day stay. I would definitely recommend and hope to book again for my next stay in Paris!

Great Place.

Like others before us, we loved it. Great location. Everything you need is provided in this place. Bed is very comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet. Elevator is very reliable. The place is small but good. You couldn't do better.

The accommodation is small, but everything is provided and it is in such a perfect location with everything within walking distance. Fantastic, and Paul was so helpful.

This apartment was cozy but very well appointed, very comfortable and very elegant. Lots ot natural light. Very clean, and the Murphy bed was comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet and nice, with many shops and restaurants nearby. The house is on the Seine. Paul speaks excellent English. He and Camille were very good hosts. An excellent value. .

Great Value and Excellent Location

Beautifully renovated studio with great modern amenities in a perfect location. Check in communication and process with Paul was a breeze and a pleasure. The studio is tiny though and has no closet, dresser, or drawer space to unload your luggage. I would recommend that the owner installs more door and wall hooks wherever possible to hang belongings. Despite these shortcomings, we loved our stay and highly recommend this flat to others.

Great location, cute apartment.

The apartment is a studio. There's a Murphy bed which can be folded up during the day as desired. I never folded it up. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was necessary to climb in a step stool to get dishes. Other than those very minor inconvenience s, it was great. I would stay here again i lived the building.

Perfect Studio in a Perfect Location

I stayed in this lovely studio apartment on the Ile St. Louis between Christmas and New Years and it was perfect in every way. A perfect location near so many shops, restaurants, and sights, it was extremely functional and had everything I needed. Everything worked well - it was cozy and warm on the chilly days, the bed was very comfortable and easy to operate, and the apartment was immaculately clean. The bathroom was especially nice, well lit with lovely views over the rooftops. The WiFi worked well. The host, Paul, was responsive to my questions and very helpful. Overall, I had a great stay here and would love to come back in the future. Thank you Paul!

Just Enough.

Even though the space is a bit small, it is just enough for what you need. Since there is so much to see and do in Paris, we really only need this place to be in a good location and have the essential amenities and it delivered. Christel greeted us warmly when we got there even though it was before check in time and she went over everything in the apartment and where it was. The place is beautifully located next to the Siene River and a few blocks away from Notre Dame. We would stay again here in a heartbeat.

Wonderful Little Apartment in the Middle of Paris

My wife and I just returned from an excellent trip to Paris. Our stay in this studio apartment was perfect. It is a small apartment, but with everything we needed to enjoy our vacation including a washing machine and dishwasher. The apartment is on the Ile Saint Louis, just a few blocks from Notre Dame and the Sully/Morland Metro Station. Ice cream, pastries, restaurants, and all sorts of shops are just around the corner. The building was very quiet and the apartment was cozy. It was so nice to have an apartment to call home for our time in Paris.

Ok but very expensive

Very, very small but mostly does the job.But: No storage options. Spaces that could be used for this are full with decorative objects.You will hear everything word spoken on the floor, when neighbours open their door, you think they open yours. The bathroom door does not shut properly. If you plan on cooking: Remember that this is only a one bedroom and everything will smell.

Couldn't have been better

Christel's apartment was as advertised. It was cozy and updated. The view from our flat was incredible with an incredible history of the building itself. I mean really, you are staying on a historic Island in the middle of the Sienne River. The location is great for being a tourist and seeing the attractions. Local restaurants were great and we finished every evening 30 seconds from our front door with a glass of wine sitting on the banks of the River just enjoying the atmosphere. Christel herself was very friendly and co-operative. Very eager to help out and make sure you enjoy your time in Paris and are happy and comfortable with her flat. She was wonderful! I highly recommend her place if you get a chance.

Fabulous location, wonderful landlady, spotless apartment!

We LOVED staying at this flat. It is a little studio on the 6th floor of an old building, but it has a charming and convenient elevator. The apartment is small, but so well appointed and tastefully decorated. There is a pull-down Murphy bed - very comfortable. The shower/bathroom is modern and spotlessly clean. Christel left tea/coffee etc, as well as plenty of soap, toilet paper etc. There is a washing machine that spins the clothes almost dry and a drying rack. Best of all is the wonderful location on the Ile St. Louie where we had never stayed before. We walked everywhere we wanted to go - to the Luxembourg Gardens, through the Marais, along the Seine. We bought food in the local shops - butcher, baker, groceries and ate twice at the Cafe St. Regis for lunch. We will stay here again and again, I hope.

reopening of Notre Dame

The apartment is exactly as advertised. It is small but has everything that is needed and everything was functional. The location is perefect since it is very central. We were surprised how quiet the apartment was given its location.The walk to the RER B train station (train to CDG airport) and Metro stations are less than 20min away (with luggage). The apartment is on the 5th floor and can be reached by elevator. However, the elevator is very narrow and fits just two people without luggage. We are not overweight at all and it was tight. If you hold a baguette you have to turn it sideways. Since it is a glass elevator one doesn't feel cramped, though. Supermarket, butcher, bakery, cafe, restaurants are just one or two streets over. The checkin process was very easy. Although checkin time is posted at 4PM, Paul was willing to greet us shortly before noon so we could drop off our luggage and received the keys. We returned around 3PM after cleaning was done. Overall the property is very clean - staircase, elevator and hallways were cleaned daily.The main door to the street (what you see in the property description) as well as the door to the stair case/elevator do have key pad access. Never felt unsafe.We found our place when we return to Paris in the future.

"Excelente apartamento en una de las zonas más lindas de París. Ubicado en el corazón de la residencial Isla Saint Louis, a unas 4 cuadras de Notre Dame y el barrio Latino, a una cuadra de la animada calle principal de la isla, llena de pintorescos negocios y de la mejor heladería de París, Berthillon. Muy cerca de estaciones del metro y RER (Pont Marie, Sully Morland, St-Michel, Cite). El apartamento está decorado con muy buen gusto, es muy luminoso, completamente equipado y funcional, el espacio aprovechado de forma óptima. Es un lugar acogedor que invita a quedarse. El edificio es un encantador y elegante Hôtel del siglo XVII, y tiene la ventaja de contar con un pequeño ascensor de cristal. Palabras aparte merece la propietaria, Christel, encantadora y atenta. Fue un placer tratar con ella. Desde un principio dejó en claro que pone a la confianza ante todo. No me fue posible enviarle el anticipo para efectuar la reserva, así que tuvo la gentileza de reservar el apartamento sin el envío de adelanto alguno. Me recibió el día de mi arribo, no fue necesario entregarle ni un euro en concepto de garantía a devolver, y me otorgó total libertad al momento de dejar el apartamento, ya que ella no se hizo presente ese día y fue suficiente con salir y dejar las llaves dentro. En resumen, un lugar altamente recomendable y al que volvería sin dudarlo."
