We had no problem with the house…beautiful, extremely clean and large for 5 people.The problem was getting in the house. After 5 hours in the car to get there, the key did not unlock any door.I called the after hours…it was 4:30…number and after a second call, the girl Becca who checked us in answered. I told her that we could not get in the house. She said they had not had any problems with the key or lock. She said she would call someone and have them to let us in. An hour went by, and no one. My 93 year old mother was sitting in a car with the temperature outside in the 90’s. Not acceptable.Finally a very nice guy came and said he did not know why she told me that, that they had so many complaints, that the owner had been asked to buy a new lock, but his response had been, he would have his son fix it. That had been before our stay. It obviously was not fixed. You also could not get the key out of the lock once you got it to go in the lock.We never could get the house locked the week we were there. Always had to have someone stay there if we all went out. Also, be prepared to get your exercise as you will go up and down a lot of steps. I liked that part…I got my workout in every day. Aside from not being able to get in the house, the house itself could not have been nicer. Wonderful linens, fully stocked kitchen, and two wonderful screen porches.
