Villa Alkioni belongs to a complex of 4 traditional Villas located at the peaceful and beautiful village of Makriotika. Only 5 km away from the picturesque port of Agia Efimia and famous Myrtos beach, villa Alkioni is an ideal base to explore the island.

The villa comprises of 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with dinning table and a spacious sitting room. There is a terrace with outside relaxing sofas at the 1st floor enjoying magnificent mountain views as well as an outside dinning area in the ground floor. The pool is in a green beautiful garden surrounded by colorful mediterranean plants where you can relax at the sun beds or enjoy a barbeque.

The location is beautiful, relaxing and quite, at the heart of the island, close to the top sights as well as the picturesque fishing port of Agia Efimia offering all amenities and just 5km from famous Myrtos beach.

Wonderful island villa

This villa is in a beautiful part of Kefalonia, very unspoilt and a fabulous location. Very tidy villa, pool is delightful particularly on the hot days! Sleeps 4 very comfortably, a bit of a squeeze for more, overall a fabulous week, thank you!

Stunning villa in lovely location

The villa was really beautiful and well laid out. There were three great terraces to use and sit and eat or chat and play games. We arrived late and were really grateful for the tea, coffee, water, and lots of other goodies left by the owner, it really helps. The villa and pool were super clean and well maintained, really well looked after. The villa is well located and we were able to explore the whole island easily from there. We would recommend it and we would happily return.

Amazing villa

Wonderful stay here. A week wasn't long enough! Beautifully presented villa exactly as described in listing. Loved all the balcony's with stunning views. Very conveniently located for lots of places on the island. Small super markets within a short distance and a couple of lovely tavernas within walking distance. Lovely touch of a bottle of wine cheeses etc for our arrival very welcome. We loved it and want to come back. Excellent communication with hosts throughout the week and they even sourced a beach umbrella for us to borrow. Thank you

What a beautiful stay

We had such an amazing time. The villa was beautiful, the village had everything we needed and the nearby town was friendly and had some brilliant local businesses. The kids loved the pool.

Gorgeous house with everything that you need

We have just returned from our stay and loved it. The house is well equipped and pool is lovely (although cold in May). We travelled with our 18 month old toddler and Anna was wonderful in providing what we needed. Local taverna is great and the bakery at the bottom of the hill provides a lovely morning walk! Highly recommend this house and it’s location!

Wonderful villa!

Wonderful villa! Clean, well thought out, good size rooms, comfy beds. All facilities you need. Gloria and Anna very helpful. Pool a good size. Views lovely. Supermarket and tavernas in the village and lots more a 5 minute drive away in Agia Efimia! Beach 10 mins away and it’s one of the best in Kefalonia! Great place to explore the country with easy access to all areas. Loved our stay. Miss it!!

Beautiful Location, Beautiful Island

Fabulous Villa in a fabulous location on a fabulous island! We came to Kelafonia for the first time over 20 years ago and liked it so much that we were a little nervous coming back that things may have changed. Very pleased to say that not much has! The landscape is still breathtaking, the sea blue and crystal clear, people delightful, food simple but good. Villa Alkioni is in a great location - especially for the north of the island. Has excellent facilities and is spotlessly clean. Anna and her team were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. We had a great time and remembered why we likely Kefalonia so much.

A perfect location

We spent a very relaxing week. The villa is strategically located in the middle of the island. It is very fast to move everywhere. Everything is new in the villa and confortable. Our contact person, Anna, has been fantastic.

Nice country house for family hollydays

We found this villa accidentally. Came to see (Anna - lovely host and arrived very quickly - we waited no more than 5 minutes!) and decided to stay. Very comfortable villa in the village Makriotika - not far from Agia Efimia - with the mountain views. 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a lovely terrace with lounge furniture on the second floor. Living room, kitchen, bathroom and terrace with dining furniture - on the ground floor. No lawn, but a pool of cool water. Everything is surrounded by flowering trees. The villa is air conditioned, the beds are comfortable. There is a gas stove for barbecue on the terrace. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that the owners provided us with a set of complimentary food (cheese, bread, wine, oil, fruits and vegetables). We loved our family vacation at this villa , so we booked it again , but this time for 17 days! We will definitely return here again.

I was always dreaming of building a beautiful lodge where I could create a relaxing environment with simple luxuries, a self catered comfortable villa that can satisfy all visitors .
Now that my dream has come true, I'm waiting to welcome you to our relaxing premises with beautiful gardens and share with you the beauties and secrets of my island.
