Most excellent weekend stay

As others and the instructions say, the roads are no joke going up the hill to the cabin. The cabin was good size, even though the bedrooms are a little on the small size. The pool and hot tub were wonderful additions to this little gem. Some items to note, the cabin was very clean on the surface, however when the wind blew hard stuff came down from the rafters. The fridge really needs updated. It's obvious that it is too small for the space, there were missing arms in the fridge, and the ice maker dropped water with the partially frozen cubes. The TVs need some works as well, especially in the living room. It really did not respond to the remote. Even with these items, I would not hesitate to book again. It was an amazing time!

Great Cabin but no wifi

It Was Okay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After staying in a cabin a few years back we wanted to experience another smoky mountain stay. The interior of this cabin was great, the amenities were nice and kept us relaxed and content. The location and the drive in, were quite the opposite. Thankfully we drove a jeep with new tires, and 4WD — otherwise I’m not sure if we would’ve made it to the cabin. Once we finally made it to the cabin, got settled in and unpacked groceries— it became clear that the cabin directly below us was under full construction. I know this may be out of their control, but I wish I would have been prepared to be woken up early each morning on my relaxing getaway. Overall, I’m sure this cabin will be right for some people — but we will not be staying in this cabin or general area again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the interior of the cabin and found the amenities relaxing — thats always our goal. We truly understand your concerns about the drive and the unexpected construction noise from the neighboring property. While we do try to prepare guests for the mountainous terrain, we will take your feedback to heart and look into better ways to communicate the road conditions in advance, especially for guests not in off-road-capable vehicles. As for the construction, you are right — it is unfortunately outside of our direct control, but we do apologize for the disruption. We certainly understand how frustrating it must have been, especially when seeking a peaceful mountain getaway. We will do our best in the future to notify guests if we become aware of nearby projects that could impact their stay. We appreciate your honesty, and while we are sorry to hear this cabin wasnt the right fit for you, we hope you will consider staying with us again at a different location that might better suit your preferences.
