Encantadora villa restaurada en la ladera de la montaña Mijas, a solo 25 minutos en coche del aeropuerto de Málaga. La villa de unos 290 metros cuadrados. Los espacios habitables se encuentran en dos plantas. La villa consta de 3 dormitorios, 3 baños, amplio salón con chimenea y TV, amplia cocina - comedor con acceso a la terraza. Hay una parrilla de gas en la terraza.

Excellent holiday

Beautiful villa with amazing views, we stayed for two weeks as a family and had a wonderful time. The area is peaceful and the local people are really lovely. The villa itself is well presented with a lovely pool, with plenty of facilities, the children especially enjoyed the pool table. We would definitely come back again.

Beautiful villa

A superb stay at Villa Vemork - a very well appointed spotlessly clean property. A few minutes drive to Mijas Pueblo and 20 minutes to Fuengirola. The hosts were amazing when we contacted them. Beautiful spacious pool and landscaped areas. An excellent touch was that many of the essentials were already provided such as dishwasher tablets and kitchen roll. Highly recommend this beautifully decorated villa.

Lovely appointed villa with beautiful views out to sea and a fabulous pool area but a number of issues I have already highlighted to the owners. Only 1 set of keys / gate remote - simply not enough and direct access to the gates on all doors needs to be addressed. We had to request keys just to get out the back door to access washing line. Real issue of potentially being locked out OR in requiring you to tie back gates to avoid closure! Not enough towels or bedding provided. No pool towels available. Some rooms do not have air con which is a huge disadvantage.

Luxury House with a beautiful view

Very Nice House, super bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and Living Room. In the hot summertime, the beautiful terrasse and super pool arear are where you spend most hours, and you always have the greatest view. It is less than 10 min. drive by car to Mijas.

Lovely villa in beautiful setting

We had a very pleasant stay with our young children. The pool area is absolutely stunning with a lovely big pool, comfortable seating areas and incredible views of the mountainside and down to the sea. Very peaceful and enjoyable area to spend the days. The villa itself is lovely and clean. Bedrooms are a good size and very comfortable beds . The only slight drawback was lack of air-conditioning in the kitchen area. It would also have been nice to have access to the first floor balcony. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay - thank you to the owners and manager who were very easy to communicate with.

Wonderful House near Mijas

This was our second visit to Mijas and our first at this house. It is a fantastic property, suitable for a family or like us, a couple. It has all you need to relax on your holiday. Lots of space, lovely rooms both ground and upper level. Fantastic pool area and wonderful views. The owner couldnt be more helpful and when we had a small issue, it was dealt with that day. You'll need a car to get here and to get to Mijas (a short 10mindrive) but being in the hills a car is needed. There is a flight of steps down to the pool and spiral stairs to the upper floor so if you have mobility issues regards stairs, this probably isnt for you. We absoloutely loved it and is our favourite villa that we have stayed at on the Costa del Sol. We plan to return again on our next trip to this area.

Not quite as described.

First let me point out the good points of this villa. The pool was lovely and the views from the terrace amazing. All the showers were really good and the kitchen was reasonably well equipped. The location is quite good but there is no local shop so you need a car to pick up essentials Unfortunately there were a couple of things that let it down. The major point was the air conditioning. The villa is described as having air conditioning but in fact only one bedroom has an air conditioning unit and the only other unit is on the landing. We were told to leave bedroom doors open to take advantage of this. This meant that my daughter would have had no privacy in her room. The downstairs bedroom had mobile cooling machines but this had the effect of turning my son’s bedroom, in the 30+ degree heat, into a sauna. We had to buy electric fans for both these bedrooms. The beds were quite comfortable but the bed linen did not fit so led to some uncomfortable nights. There was also only one very flat pillow per person which meant there were quite a few stiff necks in the morning The property also does not provide pool towels. So we also had to buy 5 of these. (This could have been my fault for missing this fact in the property description but I have stayed in villas all over Europe and have never had to provide my own linen before!). We also had to buy tea towels for the kitchens. Again these were not provided. There is a dishwasher but it is only a half size and not suitable for 5 adult guests. The place was also infested with ants. I realise this may be beyond the owners control, but it meant that the first thing we had to do on arrival was clean all the surfaces in the kitchen and be very careful to make sure all food was securely covered. I’m sorry to appear quite negative in this review but these are things that could be easily rectified. The size and layout of the villa are very good and with a little more thought and attention this could be a great rental property.

Nous avons passé un séjours très agréable, la maison est confortable et spacieuse. L'environnement est calme avec une belle vue sur la méditerranée. Les extérieurs sont charmant et la piscine grande et très bien exposée. Les propriétaires ont une belle maison dans laquelle on se sent très bien.

Das war unser erster gemeinsamer Urlaub in einem Ferienhaus und uns hätte es nicht besser treffen können. Wir beginnen damit das die Eigentümer und auch die Managerin sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich waren. Es wurde sich sofort gekümmert und uns wurde alles genau beschrieben. Dort angekommen waren wir überwältigt , nicht nur von der Aussicht sondern auch von der Inneneinrichtung. Dieses Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet worden. Alles bis ins kleinste Detail gestaltet. Wirklich sehr ordentlich und sauber. Hinzu kommt das alles notwendige wie z.B. Handtücher, Bettwäsche, Föhn etc. gestellt wurden . Sämtliche Haushaltsutensilien waren mehrfach vorhanden. Die Aussicht und der gesamte Außenbereich ist einfach traumhaft! Die Hanglage ermöglicht einen Ausblick über die gesamten Dörfer bis hin zur Küste. Uns hat es in keiner Hinsicht an irgendetwas gefehlt. Einfach wunderschön! Die Stadt Mijas ist problemlos mit dem Auto in ca. 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Dort gibt es kleine süße Souvenirläden und wirklich ausgezeichnete Lokale zum Abendessen . In Fuengirola (ca. 15 Minuten entfernt) gibt es reichlich Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Mercadona, Carrefour oder auch Discounter wie Aldi und Lidl. Es war für uns ein wirklich unvergesslicher Urlaub ! Wir würde dieses Haus jeder Zeit wieder buchen ! Also wirklich jede Reise wert ! Danke für alles! Grüße aus Deutschland.

Gorgeous Villa in Secluded Location

The property exceeded all expectations. Lovingly designed and having all the amenities you could hope for. The hosts were contactable at all times and very pleasant. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place for you. Mijas centre is 10 minutes drive away and you can easily access the main roads to the coast. 10/10

Mountainside views

My husband and I stayed here for 10 days in September and used Villa Vemork as a base to explore beautiful Andalucia. The weather was great - warm enough to lie out in the sun but not so hot that you couldn't walk around and explore. The villa is positioned on the mountainside so there was a nice breeze and best of all, a view of the ocean and Fuengirola below. The beautiful views are my favourite memory of the villa :) The villa is less than a 5 minute drive to Mijas Pueblo so we ate out most evenings as it's such a pretty village. However, the villa was fully stocked so you can totally eat in the villa if you want to. We didn't use the barbecue (because we're lazy and love tapas too much!) but we popped into the local Carrefour supermarket (15 min drive) and picked up some breakfast and lunch stuff. It was lovely eating out on the terrace with that view! Tanja and Ingbert were fantastic hosts and we would thoroughly recommend them, particularly for their generous donation to charity.

Great location, wonderful view

We spent a week in this villa with my family in mid August. There we 5 adults and 2 children age of 1,5 and 2,5 years. We all loved the villa. Location near Malaga airport and Fuengirola with supermarkets and all was very easy. The view from the villa and it's terraces was absolutely wonderful. But there was a couple of things we were a little bit disapointed. The air condition was only in upper floor hall and in master bedroom. There was some kind of movable device in down stairs bedroom and that was not powerful enought during hot August weather. Also the dishwasher was tiny for 7 people and one small fridgerator was not enought. The other fridge had a private-sing on it (as did several doors and the third floor also!) so we did't use it. There was some wine glasses but they were different to each other and no shampange glasses at all. Or maybe there was, but they were behind a locked door and we could only watch them. Even though Ingbert welcomes children to the villa, there was nothing to them: no potty, no high chair, no crip or a travel bed for a baby and no any kind of toys. But after all we loved the place! The terrace was a great place to use BBQ and to dine while watching beautiful view. There was quite a long stairway down to the pool area, which had 3 sun loungers and a sofa with 2 chairs, a table and a couple of umbrellas. The pool itself was lovely. It was very nice size and there was a shallow part where the kids loved to play in the water with adults. There was also a darts board - thank you Ingbert! The villa is beautiful and very private, view great and location perfect . We absolutely recommend this villa!

Maison au top !

Super vacances dans cette maison isolée en pleine campagne avec vues fantastiques sur les montagnes et la mer au loin. Grande piscine et belles terrasses. Cuisine hyper équipée, belles prestations générales. Point de départ idéal pour découvrir ce coin d'Andalousie : le village blanc de Mijas, la côte, Grenade, Cordoue, etc... Vraiment pas déçus du voyage !

Fantastic villa and surroundings

Beautiful Villa with spectacular views

We had such a wonderful time at Villa Vemork. It is a real home from home, extremely comfortable and with everything you could want in a luxury, holiday villa. We enjoyed relaxing at the villa so much that we didn't want to go out much! Thank you Tanja and Ingbert for welcoming us to your Spanish home.
