A medida que conduce hasta Hilltop Hideaway, pasará por la rampa del barco y se encuentra frente al agua del centro del lago a medio camino entre Guntersville y Scottsboro.

Vas a entrar en la propiedad a través de un camino de entrada justo al lado de la cabina y el parque hasta 2 vehículos o barcos bajo la marquesina iluminada que tiene energía para cargar las pilas después de un largo día de pesca. El patio cubierto es un gran lugar para disfrutar de hermosas vistas del lago y la montaña.

Si usted camina hasta el patio cubierto por la noche, la zona será iluminado por una luz de movimiento de arriba. Vas a entrar en la cabina a través de una cocina completa que incluye todo lo necesario para hacer las comidas memorables. Su cocina incluye una nevera de tamaño completo y cocina, así como un horno de microondas, cafetera y filtros, tostadora. Utensilios de cocina, también se incluyen platos y cubiertos.

A continuación, hacer su camino en la gran sala que cuenta con cómodos asientos para 4, así como una en la pared televisión de pantalla grande impulsado por DirecTV.

A la derecha está el dormitorio principal que incluye una cama de matrimonio y dos camas individuales, así como los primeros o 2 baños completos. Guntersville Fishing

Our second stay at one of these properties. Great location mid lake close to several boat ramps and equidistant from Scottsboro and Guntersville for a variety of eating out options. Property is clean and manager is easy to work with.

Absolutely amazing place and location

This has to be the best place that I have stayed. It is very clean and has everything you need. There is plenty of parking space. The location is excellent. Davif was very helpful and always available when anything was needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is lookong for a place to stay in this area.

Very accommodating and clean!

My son and I stayed here during our fishing trip to Guntersville. Dave and Edna has gone above and beyond to make sure this place is very accommodating, including covered boat parking and electric hook ups. The inside of the cabin was perfect. Everything you could ask for and more. The boat ramp is only a few hundred feet down the road and across from what is pretty much a general store that has anything you may have forgotten. I give this one the highest marks and would recommend to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

Weekend Getaway

We had a great weekend at David and Edna's property! We were in town for a fishing tournament and it was in a perfect location and great parking for boats and trucks. They were great at communicating with us and very accommodating to our needs. We will definitely be back!

Nice Getaway Location

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Guntersville and this little cabin was perfect. It was spotless, with plenty of room inside for us and outside for the boat. Convenient location and David and Edna were super to work with. Would stay here again.

Excellent place to stay. Very quiet, clean, and well kept. Very easy access with a boat. Host is very nice and accommodating. Checked on us periodically and we was very pleased.

Beautiful little Cabin. Very clean.

Great experience. The owners are great. They even called to check and see if we needed anything. That means alot. We will be staying again on next trip to Lake Guntersville.

Perfect for fishing on Guntersville Lake

Everything anyone could need for a fishing vacation. Cabin has all things to make the stay comfortable. New condition. Outside, covered boat parking, fish cleaning station, and charcoal grill. All you have to bring is food and drinks and enjoy a weekend, week, or longer. We will be back. Thanks for making it easy.

Thanks for a great stay! The cabin was neat, clean, modern, and very comfortable. David and Edna made sure we had everything and checked on us to make sure all was well...will definitely stay with them every time we come south to fish the Big-G!!

Simply hard to beat this value

My fishing partner and I stayed 11/11-11/14/2015 and could not have been more pleased with the very clean accommodations this location offered. Great kitchen and a coffee pot w/ filters to boot. 2 separate rooms apart, each with excellent showers & bathroom. Comfy couch and TV for the living room. The boat shed was perfect and secure. Dave was very courteous and helpful even with our late evening arrival. Great location puts you seconds from waterfront ( ramp, gas, breakfast,lunch, and fishing supplies ) and minutes away for access to other areas of the lake. This was more economical and much more pleasant than any hotel stay. I am well traveled and one would be hard pressed to find a better value for a fishing trip. We will definitely call on Dave and Edna to hook us up on our next trip to the G. Chad Robinson

Adorable home away from home!

This cabin was absolutely perfect! All the amenities from home but with the added view of the lake. Within minutes from several boat ramps and gas stations. We loved that we could bring our dog (more like our daughter) and she had plenty of room to run around outside. Thank you for a perfect vacation!! We will be back

Could not have been happier with our stay with DE Landing at their Tall Tales location. Cabin is brand new and had everything we needed in it. Great place for guys trip or couples trip. Our wives even enjoyed it.

Wonderful place to stay! great accommodations--plenty of parking and space to park 2 boats under the carport with electrical hook-up, with a beautiful view of Lake Guntersville. David & Edna were great to deal with, always prompt to respond to e-mails and messages before our trip and came by daily to check with us to see if we needed anything! Was close to boat ramp, tackle and convenience stores. Recommend Top of the River restaurant--good food and service. We will definitely stay with them when we venture back to Alabama!

Tall Tales Lodge Rocks!

The perfect spot for fishermen! Pull your boat right under the carport (which is huge) which is right next to the front door. It poured when we came off the water. We pulled up and unloaded and stayed dry. Going inside, these guys really catered to the fishermen. Tons of room, nice TV, full kitchen, grill, two huge bathrooms. We will be back for sure!

D&E Landing Vacation Rentals, LLC is named after us, David and Edna. The name came to Edna literally as we were signing the documents to purchase the property.

Edna's a native Alabamian who grew up in Phenix City. David grew up outside of Boston but found his way to Alabama in the middle 80's. We fell in love with Northeast Alabama after spending 4 years outside of Gadsden before moving to Memphis, TN for 20 years.

Lake Guntersville called to us in the spring of 2013 and we decided it was time to go home permanently! We are, like many couples in Alabama, a house divided. Edna's the Alabama football fan and David's the Auburn fan. Iron bowl Saturdays are always interesting around our house!

David hunts and fishes the area and is always happy to help with any information you need. Edna's a shopper, and will guide you to every place within 60 miles to get a bargain on almost anything! Between us we've got you covered.

We both love to meet people, make new friends and serve our guests. We believe in delivering the maximum value for your dollar and will do whatever it takes to ensure you have a fantastic time at Lake Guntersville and in the Northeast Alabama area!

Hilltop Hideaway is located mid-lake on Highway 79 making it an easy drive to most of the boat ramps on the lake. If you're not a fisherman, you'll only have a short drive to Guntersville, Scottsboro or Huntsville. There you'll find plenty of activities to choose from including:
- Fantastic shopping in all these locations (just ask Edna)
- Cathedral Caverns
- Hiking at the State Park
- Space and Rocket Center
- Lake City Amusement Park (opening April 2016)
- Many golfing opportunities including 2 Robert Trent Jones Trail courses

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our property sits on 2 beautiful acres with great views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

There are 4 different driveways making it very easy to enter, exit and move around if you have a boat or trailer. Every cabin has covered parking for at least 2 boats/vehicles with power to charge you batteries and there's no need to unhook. We have plenty of additional parking with power available at every cabin as well.

You will not find cleaner lodging anywhere at the lake as Edna and David take care of everything at the property personally. We live in Guntersville and are always available should you need anything at all!
